Have you ever tried fallfish? Filet a big one and then filet the scale side off and it’s a white flaky fish like a white perch. Breaded and fried in pan, it’s pretty tasty!

We've had seasonal campers tell us they're not bad but we've never taken the time to do it. We actually cut them up and use them for bait once in a while. Not my first choice when we have salmon, cusk, brookies and touge around.

Get some foam locking gym mats and put down it’s insulates the floor and keeps shack warmer

We have them, they just happened to get forgotten on this quick trip down the road.

Camping on the lake while fishing looks like a lot of fun. The fish you guys caught looked great But the 5:30am stick was the best 🤣

A simple floor of anti fatigue matts will make your stay 100x better. A CO detector is a must when using any sort of propane heater

We have both! Mats got left behind cause we were in a hurry, only a 24 hour trip right down the road from home!

Nice video. That salmon was a fatty. A couple of winter camping tips for ice shacks. Get the interlocking foam for the floor. It reduces/stops the slush build up and the shack stays warmer. Carbon monoxide detector, cheap insurance in case your buddy heater malfunctions. Nice job, keep it up!

We have both! The foam mats got left behind cause we were rushing! We’ll have a more neat looking shack in an upcoming video on Allagash Lake!

Yes, all videos are filmed and posted a couple weeks later! We’ve been cautious with snowmobiles on the ice but all safe for walking and setting up camp!
