Awesome time! Next time you plan on staying overnight, place a tarp on the ice first then the foam tiles on top. This is a way to prevent having wet floors.
The Mav Murray buddy combo reminds me of my brother & his best fishing buddy spanning past 5 decades. They've memorized all sorts of lakes & know the best & worst places to fish.
I'm Korean and I LOVE the fact that you ate kimchi, rice, and eggs for breakfast. That's a staple comfort meal. It's even better if you drizzle a tiny bit of sesame oil on the rice with sesame seeds, and eat it with seaweed.
I live with a giant hole too Mav. We have a lot in common.

Can do a few holes halfway through the ice to collect water. Usually do 3 or 4 under my cots and it helps a ton with the wet floors
