People please stop commenting on things you don't know. I've already read about a dozen comments about adding a fuse. The wiring harness comes with a fuse. It would be so simple to look it up on the manufacturers website. But people here are still stating to install a fuse. I personally have two 2008 Subaru Forester's w/ light bars. Both have a set of SAE fogs and running lights on them from Diode Dynamics. That's four sets, and all four sets came with wiring harnesses.

That’s what I was thinking, wouldn’t of had to drill a hole in your dash and it would’ve been in a more convenient spot

I wasn't sure if you knew the factory switch existed. My Tahoe has factory fog lights, plus a switch for the rear hatch and rear wiper so all those slots are filled with buttons and aren't plated off. I'm not in any way a critic of where you put the your switch and those LED's are amazing.

I bought my first diode dynamics parts a few weeks ago. I was surprised to find that they are based in St. Louis. I tied my off road lights into my high beam switch. No external switches, simple and clean look, and easily accessible by flicking the dimmer switch on the blinker arm. They are powered by a relay which takes microamperage to activate from the high beam circuit. My setup also turns on my low beams when my high beams and off road lights are on.

Love the yellow but will have to see if they have white fog from the same place. Looks great and I'd like to echo what Hampton_381 said with the 4 high mod. With those fogs and then all four front head lights (with LED's or HID's) there really isn't a need for a light bar on the top.

I have a 1990 Chevy C1500, and personally speaking, although you did a great job on the install, there are better options, (such as a bull bar license plate mount that you can install off-road lights on) Your lights look really good, but I wouldn't have cut holes in my bumper. If the manufacturer quits making those lights, you're screwed! I suggest that you buy some extra sets of those, and wire them to a fuse and a relay.

You should also use a file card and brush after use to keep the teeth clean and ready for the next use.

Don't shim them up Jimmy. They look perfect right where they are. With fog lights, you want the light low because fog is usually less dense nearer the ground and if your lights get to high you will just get more glare from reflecting off the fog. Nice job mounting and great spot for them. A carbide burr on a die grinder would have been perfect for those rounded corners in the bumper but the old file will do the job, just slower and unknown to me if you have a compressor anyway.
Consider moving power source from battery and to a "power at key on" source.

@@1RoadGarage Fuse box in engine compartment and volt meter. Pick 25 amp or higher source. Buy a "fuse tap", makes it clean and easy. Well within your skill range.

HELLO ROAD1. I HOPE YOU CAN REPLY TO THIS. I PURCHASED THE SAME FOGLIGHTS BUT IN WHITE. WHICH IS THE RIGHT HARNESS I NEED? I SEE THERE IS 2 ON AMAZON. ONE WITH AND ONE WITHOUT A RELAY. WHATS THE CORRECT ONE? I ONLY PLAN ON POWERING 2 FOG PODS AND WANT THE CORRECT HARNESS. WHY DOES 1 HAVE A HARNESS AND NOT THE OTHER?

What's a really good look but I don't think I saw you say anything about a fuse in that system?
Personally I went and found some of those crappy little wind turbine LED stick on lights I want to say they worked really well at first but now that they're getting a little old maybe two years they pretty much stopped now and it's time to replace them with new ones or like what you got real 12 volt power.

With the way the front bumper angles back slightly on each side the lights look to be pointing their beam too far outboard on each side. Wouldn’t matter off-road but on the street looks to be a issue with on coming traffic.

As long as they're aimed correctly according to SAE standards and not shinning in your face it's all good. My 2008 Subaru Forester has a straight mounting point and I can light all three lanes of a highway while driving in the middle lane.
