You “cannot” compare different bean types and wattage. Everything has to be within each others specs otherwise what’s the point of making a video comparing multiple companies products. I see this all of the time and it’s really frustrating. You can’t “try”, you need to. If you’re comparing spot light vs spotlight vs spotlight vs spotlight, ok, now the wattages have to be the same, 18 vs 30 or 36 colts is just horrible. Doesn’t make any sense to me. I wouldn’t even compare a 36 watt to a BD 41 watt. Everything needs to be well within the same specs, the only thing you are comparing is how they work compared to others, but if you have different beam patterns and wattage lights. You did post and acknowledge this which I did appreciate. Just the weirdest comparison I’ve ever seen yet.
That's a subjective comment as different brands run differently for example a Narva light you have run a Narva control panel to control the lights where as stedi (world leading brand) you can isolate or run with high beams the wattage is dependent on what LEDs the lights run which is brand specific I see this video as useful as it shows what each brand offers
Honestly, it all depends on what I'm doing. My first set of pod lights were rigid spot beams. They were nice for throwing additional light down the road, but sucked for lighting up the side of the road. I ended up getting a cheap amazon light bar mounted on the roof rack, so my spot lights ended up not really serving a purpose. I then went with what im currently rocking right now which are rigid 360 pod lights (driving lights pattern). The 4 inch version. They throw a way wider beam than the spots, but they're not crazy wide like the ones you tested, which IMO are probably the best pure ditch lights on the market. I went with the 360's for looks, but also because of the beam pattern. I found that when driving trails at night I end up turning on my side lights anyway. It's overkill for sure, but I'm surrounded in a bubble of light. Note: I don't need the lights, so if I win, please give them to someone else. :)

Also, there's the issue of "drop down" after things warm up, something the DD don't (at least I'm about to find out, lol) do. I'm currently biased, since I just dropped the $ on the DD SS3 driving, with extra yellow lenses for the winter. This showed a MUCH better argument for the straight fog pro's. haha I know man. The only dd pod that is legit good is their Sae fogs which has great cutoff. But all other patterns I tested (combo, driving, flood and spot) are not as great for my offroad needs.
The title of the video says "comparison". You're comparing two driving pattern lights and a fog pattern. How is that an accurate comparison? I don't think you know what you're doing. If you had a DD driving pattern Pro then you'd have a better comparison. This discrepancy never clicked in your mind? Do better. Try harder.
Understand your point, however not every companies “pattern” is consistent. DD’s driving pattern won’t even stand a chance against rigids driving pattern because they are way more focused and have no spread. I did do another comparison of rigid dss pro driving vs dd combo which is half driving and half flood and imo that is a way more closer match up than dd driving.

I buy 10 cheap ones for the price of 1 expensive one. Installed them with quick disconnects. Although I’ve had my cheap ones for 3 yrs now.
Exactly
You had the diode dynamics pointed at the ground because it was going to outshine the others, it’s obvious.
They were all pointed to the same direction (ditch) as for most of the ditch light application. No variation there pal.
Forget all those pods!
The overall winner is clearly your fog lights!! 😳
Lol
Different patterns. You might as well compare Christmas lights in the bunch.
Man, at least compare the same beam patterns....
all the stats for auxbeam is listed directly on their website. watts, lumens, waterproof rating, color temp for both white and amber etc. lol.
Why are you comparing DD's flood beam to driving beams?? Obviously not a fair comparison especially when each light is rated at different wattage!
That’s all I had at the time, and to be honest dd’s flood beam is supposed to have more spread but it doesn’t, it pales to even driving pattern of others so that says a lot.
@@4WDisLife that's a negative ghost rider as DD has 4 beam patterns, wide, spot, driving and flood. I actually put Rigids driving beam against DD driving beam and not only was the lux reading higher on DD, you can't even use Rigid on the damn road cause there's no cut off!! So you're only comparing DD flood beam to Lasfit driving beam for "on-road use" and you CAN'T use any flood beam on-road!!
Nilight is the best bang for your buck cheap and give off great light last forever for me anyway.
same with Auxbeam.
RIGID has been dependable for me and my buddies for years and countless offroad miles! I would definitely try DD if i ever needed a secondary choice! Sorry, but you can keep the Made in China, built for Amazon, lights! They will never grace any of my vehicles!
Lol. All the DD boys angry after spend $300 on some lights.
haha I know man. The only dd pod that is legit good is their Sae fogs which has great cutoff. But all other patterns I tested (combo, driving, flood and spot) are not as great for my offroad needs.
Olight should make UTV lights .
i was thinking the same and if they do, i want to test them.
If ch. Hella&Cibie
Looks like the diode was pointed at the ground to far
nope. It was just not as bright nor enough spread of light.
Youre pointing the diode straight to the ground..
Not the case tho.
Lense Tapping is a little too technical for me.... way over my head smh
i try😀
Baja Designs>
They may.
Se manchan con los precios de la marca Rigid
DD has a 8 year warranty
Makes a 20+ min video and does not include time stamps! Pathetic! 🙄
I apologize, back then I was still learning the in and outs of UA-cam.
Totally different applications these are designed for . Your more into putting on music and this is just a useless waste of time
Edit this down to 5 minutes, get to the point.
I will try my best next time.
@@4WDisLife No, you did a great job considering how many you had and trying to fair with them all.
Personally, I thought the auxbeams had excellent performance and I chose them 2nd to the rigid.
Thanks for your time you spent to do this for us!👍✌️
@@YouLookinAtMe-Bro thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate it. I did spend a lot of time on this video given the number of lights I have to go thru. And yes, if money wasn’t a problem, rigid, best bang for the bucks? Auxbeam!
You couldn't have done Better! Great Video!
Not sure where Rigid is 500 dollars. The ones that should be compared to the rest of that lineup are the D2 pros and are about 177 on amazon.
Long this is long boring and makes no sense to me you comparing Amber likes to clear lights to driving lights to fog lights to spotlights or something what are you doing? You're insane bro today I'm going to compare candle from my mom's kitchen to a flamethrower I got at the farm store to see which flames better and then I have a fireplace and I can't fire I'm going to compare as well as long as they dumpster fire behind the random Pizza Hut in California then I'm going to compare all of them you'll see my results later The first we got to go through 45 minutes of really boring stuff
