By adding berries to my diet raspberry strawberries blackberries and blueberries in the evening. And cutting 90% of my carb limiting myself to 20 or 25 carbs a day I have almost reversed my type 2 diabetes have gone from a C1 of 7.5 to 6.1 also adding ceylon cinnamon to my diet as well. Which also helps control blood sugar and reduce your a1c
Ha. Frozen raspberries for dessert have always been my ‘guilty’ pleasure on low carb/keto. Usually omad. I don’t track macros, but I kind of thought I probably shouldn’t eat them so often…nice to know they may actually be doing me good! Only other one I ever eat though much less often, is strawberries.
I'm going to have to learn to like Raspberries! I'm going to try freezing them and eating them with my dinner. I'll get some next shopping trip, thank you! What do you think about fresh figs?

Hi!!! Couple special properties in the fabulous raspberry - it’s crazy high in fiber & it has anthocyanians! The strawberry wasn’t tested in the studies, however I call all berries ‘cousins’ - I would mix in my strawberries with raspberries like at a family reunion!!! Big hugs!!
I REALLY REALLY NEED HELP. I don't care for all the meat Keto requires. If I add the green veg carbs grown above ground, before long, I have eaten more than 20 gm carbs. I eat one slice keto bread a day. I WANT TO EAT FRUIT...1/2 C raspberries at bedtime. I gain 1.5 pounds the first week I was on keto. I am a previous home econ and ate a plant based diet. I lost weight on a whole plant based diet.
Will you be adding this fruit to your diet?!
