I’m having the hardest time on keto! I’m gaining weight and Im already fat! I have no clue how many grams of fat and protein I need. I’m keeping my carbs under 20 no problem. What is happening 😢??? And the calorie suggestions are all over the place. Please give me these magic numbers.
You should NOT drink 16/24oz 10min before your meal as this will decrease/dilute your stomach acid and impair digestion. 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar in 2oz of water 15-30min before a meal will support your stomach acid for digestion, and you can drink 2-4oz with your meal but no more than this! The larger portions of water should be consumed in between meals NOT with them. And cold water might speed up your metabolism slightly, but it also interferes with digestion.
I started with very little ACV in pineapple juice to get use to it. I was diagnosed with GERD and my dr wanted me to take PPI’s which are not a solution and can make things worse in the long run, so as gross as ACV tastes I’d rather that than a pharmaceutical product with side effects.

I literally just started drinking water! I was only drinking coffee and tea. 😬 I also started eating more fat.

Diet Coke makes ME have hunger pangs for sure. I think it has to do with the type of artificial sugar they use. Zevia doesn’t seem to affect me.
