You should refinish the buttstock in a dark black like stain - keoba black maybe, or even hydro dip with a matte finish carbon fiber. Would look sick !!!

I bought mine a few months ago. I like it but installation was awful. I had to take off the receiver cover to get it on and the new bolt is too long for the handguard, when I tighten it the handguard is off center.
For the cheek riser what did you buy it under since there isnt a henry option?

This is the H001L. I havnt changed the sight, but the hammer extension is from @grovtec

Very cool. Just one question though. How's the loading? Is it a little tricky loading through the port or should you skip it and load thru the top of the tube?
I failed to mention the port is now inaccessible. But I have always loaded from the top. I use a “catch 22” loader.

Yeah, I seen that! They have the Marlin big calibers out now, hopefully the make their way to the Henry rifles with it.. judging by the design, it looks like they will easily be able to do so
