Dude that was EPIC!!! Great shooting and explanation on how best to load it. Great hat Indiana Jones. 🙂 If an LVPO or otherwise is getting in the way, consider mounting the quiver upside down. Consider 44 mag or 357 mag for your situation.
It’s an M-LOK rail. Why can’t you just bump the quiver forward enough to clear the optic?

Ranger point has the best quality upgrades you can buy , I put their comet muzzle break on my X model , looks awesome
I have this gun myself and I cannot stress enough. If you aren't going to run it suppressed GET THE COMET! The 45-70 kicks like a mule with anger issues. The Muzzle break takes the gun from "Powder your shoulder" to manageable.
Also there is a 2 round horizontal quiver for front mounting.
I usually run the 6 round on the stock and a 2 round quiver infront of the loading gate.
I've always love my Winchester 94 lever actions never went out of style for me

The key is being fully loaded AND having a backup BEFORE the bear charges. My Henry X is in 44 Mag, which is a good in-between round. THOUGH, if you load your own, you can tame, 45-70 to reasonable home defense round, and still able to take down deer or even small black bear and hogs., the 44 Mag is already there AND you can run 44 spcl or 44 spcl loaded 33 mag loads for practie.
Never screwed with a 45-70 😜 and levers have always been where it’s at, just taken the rest of you all to figure it out. God Bless Texas and 45-70 🤙🏼❤️🇺🇸🤠
140 rounds at 2.80 round. Plus $700 in upgrades and a free gun... sounds like a great investment. LOL. You are missing a couple components from Ranger Point Precision. The 45-70 Level Take down pin, the hammer extension, and the new and improved trigger... next video? It is almost like you reviewed my rifle... very cool. The explanation of the loading makes sense. It appears that RPP may have another additional part to fab, the extractor? Having 18 rounds on the or in the gun is why this is a great choice for Californians, were ten is the max. Also the lever, would wrap the paracord, or just run gloves? Thanks for the video.

4570 is awesome! I love to reload it with 9gr of Trail Boss. That takes a 410gr bullet to about a 1000fps. Great for plinking and taking down pigs and deer at close range. Not to mention it sounds like a pellet gun.
Yes it can be quite versatile, if you load your own. WHich btb is really the only way financially.

Is it threaded 5/8x24? Or is it 11/16x24 like my Ruger-Marlin trapper 45-70? I didn't know if that is what henry threads are, or was that a little mistake 🤷♂️

Henry pissed me off by not having enough x models on the market. And permitting dealers to ask crazy prices for one at 1,000 to 1700.00. I just bought mine from a honest dealer for $849.00 on sep-20-23.

They can’t be banned due to the facts that they can’t hold 30+ rounds and they aren’t semi auto. Hence they’re gaining in popularity

Yes unless Chris Costa had some custom pieces from ranger point precision like the handguard. He has one all decked out with an octagonal barrel 🤙

Black bears are the only bear the I'm aware of that can climb trees, and I've always heard that if possible, it's best to run downhill from a bear, because they're front legs are shorter than their hind legs, and although they're all great at climbing uphill, they tend to have trouble running downhill.
You should never run from a bear.
I just wish I could get one. Been to several places and they can't get them.
