This is something I love about starwars, is you can have a planet full of gaunt, sharp toothed aliens and their goblin underlings and they aren't all just predictable villains.

Yeah, the trailer made it look like Tion Medon was snarling threateningly, and he was just whispering, while in the movie, the whole lot of them were very polite and soft-spoken and helpful.

Honestly, it's refreshing to see the Pau'an and Utai get along despite their semi-caste system; it would have been kinda cliché if it was just another "servants rebelling against their cruel overlords" story. This comes across more like a symbiotic relationship, since the Pau'an's longer lifespans allow them to guide the Utai with their accumulated knowledge, and their larger stature lends itself well to territorial defense.

Given that there was a lot of emphasis on the Pau'an that wasn't the Grand Inquisitor in the Jedi: Survivor trailer, and that the Mantis seemed to be crashed on a world that looked suspiciously like Utapau, I hope that this planet is going to be one of the locations in the game. I have always loved how Utapau looks, and it has always been one of my favorite prequel planets, up there with Naboo.

With Star Wars because it's in a completely different place in space and it presumably takes place in an ancient time period their's no way to connect it to Earth in any way so the stories feel more in depth and all the lore and backstory feels unique to that world without any Earth references.

What are you talking about? His supposed to look like that because the Grand Inquisitor is extremely young compared to the 3000 year old Ancients in Revenge of the Sith. The lines on the top of their head and face are an indication of how many decades they've been alive and GI is only 57-ish years old.

Honestly, I didn't think it was that big a deal.
It's not really a spoiler, but he's barely in it so it's basically a non-issue, and honestly I think his design kind of looks better in Kenobi. I've always thought the grand inquisitor's head looked a little bulbous in rebels, and he almost looked more like a weird muun instead of an pau'an.

If I recall correctly -- from one of those big "Star Wars Chronicles" books that got sold for $150 back in the day (or $300, if you went for the imported pre-translation Japanese editions) -- the first words written about "Star Wars" when George Lucas was hashing out ideas was: "This is the story of Mace Windy, the Jedi-bendu from the moon of Utapau." Dude NEVER threw out an idea!
Since they got a mention in this episode, do you think there might be enough material for a possible future video on the Amanin . . . ?

If the grand inquisitor were half human his appearance in the new series would have at least made sense, Disney had every reason and resource to get him right, but I guess it's just easier to star Jim Carrey's mask in face powder.

the only thing that sucks about creating fictional giant beasts and monsters is the OBVIOUS lack of ecology and food chain that supports them. The bigger they are, the more base caloric metabolism is needed to support them, if you want them to be fast or have special abilities then that's even more calorically demanding. Like the sandworms on Arakis, the whole thing falls apart when there is nothing organic to eat. Star Wars often falls into the same trap. I mean, what do bantha, or mudhorns eat? just asking. I get that tuskans hunt, but again, food chain ecology dude. please, make it make sense.

Since the events of SW happened a long time ago, what year in “BBY” is it currently? What year is it in 2022? And what’s happening in that galaxy now? Did the super massive black hole, that all galaxies have, kill all living things in that galaxy?

      @@CRYSTAL_CUSTOMS
It’s not a separate universe. It’s just a separate galaxy that far from the Milky Way. The separate year thing is still a measure of time. Time still can be translated to other time measurements. Jews have a different calendar than what we use now. It’s not 2022 in their calendar. Other civilizations have had different ones too, like the Incas and Aztecs. Years are also different on other planets. A year for Earth is different from every other planet in our system. So if I ask one of the mole people that live on Mars right now how many years have passed for them in a decade for us, they’re not going to say “ten years”.
And there’s _no way in hell_ that you’re going to convince me that it’s just fiction and fantasy. The movies aren’t some kind of entertainment like Star Trek. They are documentaries!
Also, I don’t appreciate you saying that it’s a different galaxy and not our galaxy. Nowhere have I said that it’s our galaxy. If you go back to everything else here that I’ve typed, you’ll plainly see that I’m acknowledging that it’s all in a different galaxy.
