First thing I did after I picked up my C300 mark iii - I watched this video and it really helped me set everything up just how I like it. So thanks for that!
Question: I don't use Canon much, I get confused with the Systemfrequenz and the Frame Rate. My colleague is shooting mainly in 30fps, since he's on vacation I'm shooting for him, but don't understand how to properly set up the 30fps. Can someone enlighten me, thank you.
Great walkthrough! Just out of curiosity, do you know if the playback converts the slow motion to the project timeline? Like if you were to shoot 120fps would the playback already be in slow-motion? I was also wondering if it does 48fps.
I’m a big fan of FC myself but when you can use it with a reference LUT. Unfortunately, with Canon it’s either one OR the other, (unless you plug in an external monitor which offers this. Sad, isn’t it?
When I use the S&F mode, it still only records in whatever base frame rate I'm using. What am I doing wrong? I shoot in 29.97, then hit S&F which shows 120/29.97. The shot even gets darker because my shutter is set to angle, and I imagine it's bringing my shutter to 240. But when I bring it into premiere, all clips are 29.97.
The 180-degree shutter means that the shutter angle is 1/(2*FPS). For 29.97fps the shutter would be set to 1/(2*30) = 1/60. For 120fps it would be 1/(2*120) = 1/240 so your shutter is moving 1 and 1/3 stops. You can adjust for this by increasing ISO or opening your aperture.
Are you sure the body IS doesnt work on non stabilized lenses ? From what Ive read I thought it was possible to stabilize lets say a 50mm lens with no IS.
How many times did I say "Uh /um"? 😂🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Appreciate your REAL review to help us get a preview of all the features of the new C300 Mark III.
Hey, it's free. I paid 65$ at the store where I bought the camera to get more or less the same crash course for an hour.
Ummm…

Why is the focus peaking adding so much red tint to the footage? I am having a similar problem with my c70
Btw double slot recording doesn't work for 120fps
Killin' it. Get ours next Wednesday. STOKED.
hey , cool thanks for doing this. How do you like this lens ????
how do you get to the scale showing what the false colors mean?
This is really helpful thank you so much 🥰❤️
Any idea if you can make the waveform brighter?
Great walkthrough!

Excellent sir.

Why did you skip anamorphic correction?!!
Really thank you bro 🙏🙏🙏

Yeah, he's wrong on that one or should have clarified. The stabilization works with a lens with no IS
Thank you!
Thanks bro....😘
Alright alright I’ll watch it
Thank you!!
Appreciate you watching!
