I don’t think it will “shoot” stills. However, with the high frame rate options and raw recording, I’m sure you could easily pull a high quality frame from it.

mmm... 30% of the shots I see online from the C300III look like my iPhone / a Sony a7SIII could do... So now I am thinking of the ARRI Alexa Classic (with a body rig) as it is truly not an iPhone anymore... Am I crazy (pls be kind... :]
I have enough bucks to by the c500II ... but rather not... I have been looking for a cam since 2019... a £5,000 Arri colours or a £10,000 Canon comfort... ???
