I've had a couple Australia requests; great that you're liking the videos down there. No idea when, but we'll definitely go there at some point. It's only a matter of when!

Wow watching this in 2016 is surreal! Jeff has no idea how big it really gonna get!

Great job with the series so far Greg! Kind of wild that you have moved on from one of my favorite hobbies into another fav of mine. Keep living the dream! And a big thanks for all the fond memories your prior career brought me.
I know you're likely swimming in requests, but if you get the chance try to check out Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown, NY. Some good stuff going on there.

Enjoying these vids here in Ireland, Greg. If you're ever up in Michigan, stop by New Holland Brewing and tell them to bring back Existential Ale, which was one of my favourites when I lived in the US. Looking forward to seeing where else you plan to travel to, but I understand you must gather your resources before venturing forth.

Thanks for the comments! Unfortunately we're not doing videos of dancing cats, so the 2 minute format doesn't make a lot of sense. We're unabashedly putting up bigger, meatier videos. Sorry!

Thanks for the comments; I'm vey familiar with Ommegang as I first ran across their beers in Austin, and discovered they also ship to Alberta so I've been drinking their beers here. I got my friends hooked on them and they tend to drink Rare Vos above all else...:)

Can't wait to visit this spot. Thankfully Jeffery was able to give me the correct pronunciation of Mikkeller since I basically owned a stool at their SF Taproom.

My pleasure (and thx for the BioWare nod..:)) We'll get to Dogfish eventually and I'd love to interview Sam, but I feel like we need to continue to hone our craft a bit before we go there...:)

Personally I have an attention span that can be held for longer than 3mins and I'm 100% loving The Beer Diaries thus far. Clearly you have to love the subject and if you truly do you'll want more and more. It's not exactly a bite size subject. Take for example CraigTube and his fantastic videos. Would it work for him if it was 3mins long? Viva la format!

These episodes are so awesome! I love the long format. Like you mentioned in your video, it's like watching TV but not having to be censored! It's BETTER than TV.
Also, really appreciated your discussion on Texan alcohol laws. I live in California, but am very politically active. The three tier system is completely outdated and extremely detrimental to small business growth. Like Jeff said, it only benefits the monopoly of the beer market by Anheuser Busch.
I'm posting this episode on my facebook page if that's alright with you? Any information we can get out to continue the political revolution to support smaller, local business is a win for American beer future!
Cheers to all your great beer education!

Thanks! Of course you can post it.
We are extremely interested in the political arena surrounding craft beer. How weird is it that, until only recently, it wasn't legal to homebrew in every state?
There are some interesting things going on here in Texas. We may be doing something exclusively about it.
      Stay tuned (sans tv)!

Heh - nice one there re: gathering before venturing - I'll definitely be in Michigan at some point. Jolly Pumpkin is one of my favorite breweries these days so the draw of Michigan is pretty strong. I'll pass along your comments to the New Holland folks when/if I meet them!

Great stuff Greg. I'm a huge fan of Jester King and Jeff seems to be a nice dude. We hope he continues to supply the Rare Beer Club members with his beer! (best way to get beers from out of state!) Michael Jackson continues to speak to us. Cheers

Thanks. I really like all of their beers and never cease to be impressed with their new experimental stuff. Jester King recently made Rate Beer's top 100 breweries in the US - very well deserved IMO.

Heh - you are speaking the truth there - the Belgians are the kings of creative beer. North America is coming up fast, but it's hard to beat the masters! Belgium is pretty far away, so it'll be a bit before we get there!

Well, not sure if you're aware, but I (Greg Z) am Canadian, and am from Edmonton, so I'm pretty familiar with the beers you mention. I'm drinking Alley Kat's Scotch Ale right now...:) We're going to profile Canada, and likely will focus on west coast first, and then move across the country. Victoria and Vancouver have some amazing beers.

That's a tough question given you can make literally anything. Ultimately may favorites are usually the big powerful Imperial Stouts, though I don't mind a nice light Kolsch or Pilsner when they're well done!

Secondly i am wondering if you plan on coming to Canada there is so many great breweries i would love to see Alley Kat, Granville Island, Unibroue, Mcauslan, Dieu Du Ciel, Yukon Brewing, and so many more i cant name off the top of my head. Also if you plan on being in the states for awhile please do Rogue.

Dude! With that name I believe you 110%!! I'll try and make sure I use it right next time (won't see it for a while as we've got a lot in the can). Watch for it and give me feedback. Probably won't be for a few months. I'll say, "For Ciat,... and say it right!" What's the phonetic on your first name?

I want the Original so bad, screw the farmyard yeast style. I want the original... Screw it, I can't get either in PA anyway... ha ha ha... All the Texans in your video don't sound like any of the Texans in my family... Ha Ha Ha... I guess I have more of the Chainsaw Massacre family in genes... Cheers!!!

Ok. Whoever is making these videos clearly doesn't understand how youtube viewers work. We like videos from 2-6 minutes tops. People rarely stick around for long videos unless they already have a vested interest in the content. Split your shit up into different videos with different focuses on different aspects instead of releasing one huge one, or do it in segments, idk its your project. This is not TV

Greg drives me insane when he interrupts the people he's interviewing in order to interject his own opinion. I can't imagine how annoying that would be. I prefer to hear the guests finish a complete thought than hear Greg finish it for them... beef up the conversation skills, Dude.
