Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 жов 2024
- Greg Zeschuk of The Beer Diaries visits Austin Beerworks of Austin, Texas to talk to head brewer and co-founder Will Golden. Will and Greg discuss all kinds of topics and drink some delicious beers.
Austin Beerworks, like many others in town, is a relative newcomer to the Austin scene though they've had a huge impact in the time they've been operating. They won a GABF silver medal for Peacemaker in 2011 and have since released a number of other delicious beers like: Pearl-Snap, Black Thunder, Fire Eagle, Sputnik, Missile Headbutt, Flying Dropkick and a number of other seasonal offerings.
Drink responsibly and enjoy the show!

My pleasure! We do love our work, but frankly how can we not love it!
Yet another great show! Thanks guys and not just Greg, you all work so hard for showing me tasty ass brew.
Yeah, absolutely agreed there. We were actually drinking it before it was officially available as this was shot in late spring/early summer. I believe it was released right afterward to rave reviews! And the advertisement was brilliant!
Yeah - we usually go through a few beers during the show. I can't remember exactly what I had, but one was the Einhorn. The other was likely Pearl Snap. And there perhaps were more consumed off-camera...:)
tell them to make more sputnik! year round dammit!
Heh - some of them are getting outside the state. And you never know how big some of these guys are going to get; there's a potential for them getting to other states and countries, but frankly there's a lot of room in the Texas market for great beer. And, to be fair, Austin is a GREAT place to visit!
We'll do Alberta at some point, maybe when it's not winter...:) There are some interesting folks across Canada to talk to.
Great episode but I wish you would have asked about the decision+cost to can immediately. It's a rarity and definitely seems to have enabled their rapid expansion. I'm curious on how they were able to fund that.
Awesome show, makes me want to start a brewery. You coming to Alberta in the near future?
where you guys holding two different beers? One of them is clear the other one is not..
You know what the worst thing about these shows are? Knowing I'll never get to sample any of these beers!!! :(( I think I need to take a beer vacation to Austin.
Well, we are using a beard-enhancing lens, but I can assure you we're both robust, strapping beardmen!
