  • Founded in 1989, Odell has focused on two objectives, creating incredible beer, and practicing community outreach. With Doug Odell as the head brewer, wife Wynne, CEO, and sister Corkie as HR Manager/Co-Owner, they bring the family oriented atmosphere all the way to the taproom. They are continuing to expand while staying true to their goal of providing the highest quality beer (their everyday taste meetings guarantee this). This “hop-forward” brewery brews for drinkability and crisp finish. Make sure to pick up a sixer to sample if you have not in the past.

Just found this in 2021. Not many views. Definitely an Under Rated show. A few years ahead of our time.

Ft.Collins is an awsome town in Colorado! I visited Odell ,New Belgium, Eqinox, and black sheep there. Went to some shows at Hodi's half note and The Aggie. Goodtimes! Also visited Oscar Blues ,and Avery. I also ride a Reeb and a Surly(and a Knolly). Still need to add a Yeti to the bike stable. Hit up some trails in FoCo and Lyons. Twas an epic adventure! Snowboarded at Breck a few times as well. Wisconsin native new to home brewing. Loving this yt channel. Thank You for the videos.

If you're ever in Wisconsin, New Glaraus Brewery is definitely one to visit and possibly do an episode/video on. Ale Asylum ,Great Dane ,and Capital brewing are good ones too. Lions tail in Neenah ,WI. Is good too. Lesser known is 608 brewing. In LaCrosse ,WI. LaCrosse is/was home to Heilemans brewery(maker of Old style). LaCrosse used to have one of the nations best Oktoberfest celebrations.

Whenever I travel to the midwest, I usually hit up a store and grab a 6 of O'Dell first thing. They are always solid and delicious. Thanks for all the info!

I tried Ranger and another one. Interesting to try but not a daily kind of thing. I was just thinking of the grieving widow in Baldur's Gate 2. Thank you for such amazing games. You guys set the bar so high that I don't know if I will be alive before anyone else ever comes close to the games you made. Have you ever considered perusing the harder liquers?

I love O'Dells - was fortunate to meet Doug when he came to do a beer dinner here in Leeds, UK. I even won a St Lupulin T-shirt :) I know they were always hot on the eco-stuff, will the new expansion continue with these principals?

Great question, Mark! I asked Adam D'Antonio for you and here's what he said:
"Yes, we believe strongly in our sustainability initiatives. Every time we expand, we continue with these principles. We are not always able to do everything we would like, but we do our best. For instance, we'd love to have solar panels on our latest expansion, but the roof lines of the building don't allow it. We recently purchased a new building though, and are converting all the lighting to LEDs. With our offsite warehouse, we are doing a similar project with the lighting. There are lots of factors involved in these decisions, but we believe in sustainability as a core mission of the brewery, and even have a full-time Sustainability Manager on staff."
      Hope that helps!

TheBeerDiaries wow, thanks, that's great :) didn't expect a reply, was more of a ponderment. If you ever fancied doing a couple of episodes over here in the UK, I'd be happy to point you in the direction of some super breweries. Especially here in Yorkshire where we have the most breweries and some excellent beer bars.

I've binge-watched all of the episodes in the last days.... they're just so awesome.
Just one question: How the heck do you guys finance this? Is this youtube channel just some kinda second chanel of sth? It's so well made and probably takes up some time, I mean, this can't just be some kinda hobby?
