The Beer Diaries #25 Avery Brewing

Take old-world tradition, mixed with new ingenuity, and you end up with Avery Brewing. This Colorado brewery continues to challenge itself, by releasing creative beers, along with an extensive barrel-aging process. Take a trip to their taproom based in Boulder, where they will treat you like family. Hurry though, they will be opening a new facility in 2015.

The Beer scene is starting to grow down here, we're a good 10-15 years behind on how the scene in the US is, however, it's very promising.

ill say this i love the vanilla bean barrel aged stout but its like others have said they should take the barrel aged off it and just call it a vanilla bean imperial stout.

Not to interested on the size or sucess of the brewery. Wish you would go into detail about each breweries beers. Details in what types of yeast are used origen of the grain, origen and types of hops and a taste test showing color, mouth feel ect.
