Thermy, fast Hive against Roaches! 3/X Adrenal Gland Zerglings shred Roaches and when your enemies get behind, they can't really fall behind.
Always love the Zerg drop play! Would love to see more hydra drops.
If you're struggling with roaches, maybe try just having a couple infestors and use the fungal on just part of his army when he's moving,so it becomes naturally separated with the movement debuff. Then you can slip in and surround both isolated squads for more surface area if you catch him off guard.
Mark you need to strike his pylons immediately by splitting small packs of around 6 lings onto each pylon. also when you beat his army you gotta keep pressuring his base you let him chill for like 2-3 mins and recover in peace. gotta keep breaking shit and just denying expos and he will lose by default when he mines out fully

You are so good at playing while talking that when you make a mistake and call a Drone a Roach it’s more noticeable. You’re a Bloody Legend though!

Awesome game 1! Really cool to see evolve the strat against roaches. As for game 2, folks might play archon chargelot because they know who you are :P
I also second what someone said about 24:55, around that time it was obvious lings aren't gonna do squat against that zealot under the battery. Instead, you left your infestors and base undefended. You'd have more stuff cos lings wouldn't die to that zealot in the wall, and maybe you even save some infestors. Better luck next time!
if they ever turtle up like this, and use a queen in the wall. You could take an infestor and neural the queen and walk it out of the way so that zerglings can get in
A fun build with zerg is you take their third... and you build queens and mine from it. Nydus if yo ucna, to transfer workers if htey base drop and your entire goal s to build outside of their base as close as possible nad constrict hte players movements out, because of hatcheries and queens you can produce workers where needed and your army forward... Zerg contains are fairly fun to play... against terran it can be troublesome with tanks, but you cna usually have crawlers in position and two queens via both hatch locations.. and yo ucna expand east or west ward, 4rht and 5 base enemy locations... the purpose is ot make them pay heavily for entering your zerg zone... this requires some fast tech... and planning...

I liked the part where you rammed thirty lings into a wall at 25:00 while the Protoss army verrrry slowly ran down your infestors back at base. Bold strategy!
Great game the last one. This challenge is really hard too, you should unlock supply for a few ultras to build in the late game to balance out the tech
Oh a tactic i never used against protoss but thought about as banneling bombs on pylons, followed with an army, so the purpose is destroy key pylons with bannels and hten attack, so protoss is supply blocked and production blocked... so you cna fight against a diminshing army for some time...

Why not use drops vs. Roaches w/ walls? Seems to work vs. other races when they have units that fight well vs. lings.

Still waiting for someone to go ultra against this. They're like hellbats, but with armor.
Seriously though, more upgrades! Lings with enough upgrade advantage is actually good against things like roaches and zealots. And once you get adrenal glands and +2 or +3 attack, you can even fight +0 shield archons on semi even footings.
Cluster your spines against roaches, for higher dps per hp loss. and allows queens to trasnfer... easier.
I really feel like rushing your Infestors vs Roaches is the play. You aren't going to beat a ball 6+ 2/2 Roaches with Zerglings, and inevitably the opponent gets there. If you have multiple Infestors out by then, you can at least punish the clumped Roaches and weaken them so that your Zerglings kill stuff instead of just wounding stuff. The best game I have seen against Roaches was when you had your Infestors already, but you've never tried that way of fighting them again even though you won that game and have otherwise lost.

But would they actually lose sufficient health from a fungal (or even multiple fungals) enough for the zerglings to be effective?? Especially if the zerglings aren’t adequately upgraded…??
@@DrMJJr If I'm remembering the game in question correctly (and it is VERY possible I am not), it actually worked extremely well relative to how badly even upgraded Zerglings do alone. The Zerglings were able to get easy surrounds in every fight that happened, it only took like 3-4 Infestors up to hold against any amount of Roaches and keep them from being able to move around to do anything, and the Zerglings did get kills. One Roach kill created surface space around the two outer Roaches near it, so the Zerglings could run in and kill 3 Roaches then run back out. The Roaches could never move to keep shooting Zerglings, and then the Zerglings would run back in to do it again. He did end up getting +2 attack on the Zerglings to kill the Roaches more effectively, and won the game pretty handily once he had it.
The only question in my mind atm is whether this game actually happened, or if I just dreamed that it did. I am currently sick, and I have some pretty vivid dreams when I am sick.
Bear in mind each infestor costs like 12 lings worth of resources to make and you have to tech up first, so it's gonna be hard to get them out without dying even faster.
@@eclipseeffigy The early fights vs Roaches are not that hard. The Roaches don't have 2/2 yet, the ball of them is small. Zerglings do OK enough there and can hold with Queens and Spines. I am not seeing any real value in rushing the Zergling melee/armor upgrades because those basically expire as the Roaches get to 2/2. You win an early fight or two with them but cannot ever win the game that way.

i´ve been a zerg all my life and i know that game you win it with the drop and like 10 banes, but dude i cant stress enough how important creep is for lings. this game could be won with some creep. sounds crazy but oponent would never pass the middle of the map, you would know where the observer is, you slow them down and also speed you up, its sooooo important and you have a ton of apm to spare, i see you clicking the same command multiple times while you wait for stuff, you spend energy of the horacles, so they dont kill those last 7 drones, that is 14 more lings with 2 creep.

I really think your giant Ling counterattacks are losing you these games. It takes way too long to break through a full wall and you're sending so many Lings that 90% of them are just sitting there doing nothing, because there's just not enough surface-area on the wall for them to participate. The counterattack would be just as powerful if you sent only 20 Lings and the rest would usually be enough to defend. This should be clear, from the fact you keep defending even without the Lings. Reduce the counter and you will win comfortably on both fronts.
