Lore-wise, there are both good and evil factions in all three races, so if Scarlett is Kerrigan (good) fighting against the Tal'darim protoss (evil) then it's Artanis (good protoss) sending in the nexus. If she's an evil zerg, then it's a Tal'darim nexus getting warped in to help out, that just needed that one enemy probe to trigger opening the portal.
In Brood War, the factions' supply caps are separate (Supply(T), Psi (P), Control (Z)) so mind controlling workers lets you extend your army size beyond 200 supply.
There is even a game mode, where you start as one race but have a worker from the other two aswell. Potential for 600 vs 600 games. Don't remember what that mode is called right now. But it is missing in SC2 last time I checked.

There was a time when I tried every matches to build nexus as a zerg. It is obviously very hard since you lost concentration for the other tasks but when it succeed it s just glorious. Like this time when I won against a terran player as a zerg by building a command center (way harder than a nexus) and building a lot of battlecruisers.
Story time! Back in WoL beta during an ffa, i was zerg, there were two Terrans and a Zerg 2. Terran 1 planetary fortress rushed with his main (the spawns were very close by air) into my main. It failed and he left, but left a couple scvs in the corners. Naturally i built about 6 infestors asap to chain neural an scv into building me a CC while Zerg 2 killed Terran 2. By the time Zerg 2 kills Terran 2, Zerg 2 has lots of ling bling muta, but it wasn’t ready for Marine Medivac Roach XD

Yeah don't watch PiG unless there's absolutely NOBODY else around. It's so cringey it's painful. I just started to avoid his casts all together recently. He'd be a good caster if he wasn't so uncomfortable to listen to. Winter and Lowko are about equally clean. Harstem, swears a little but kinda clean - I'd recommend his Rank Roulette if you're new to the scene. PiG, avoid at all costs. Uthermal, pretty clean too, but he mostly just does cheese challenges against low ranked players so I don't watch him much.

I played brood war when I was like 5-6 with one of my friends, one of my favorite memories was when we had a 2v2 against ai, he was protos and I was zerg. He mind controlled an scv and built a command center just for me to attack and infest it, and I gave him one of my drones as a trade
I love how the phoenix arrived at the main base ON TOP OF THE NEXUS and Gungfu didn't seem to notice at all. But what I love more is how it arrived SECONDS after the Zealot wave, and Lowko took a minute or so.

Zerg has the highest inequality between the absolute best(the 4 horsemen, Zerg edition) and literally everyone else including other pros(Shin, Lambo, Scarlet, etc). It's so ridiculous that we just have to accept that the 4 Zerg horsemen and Serral in particular, are simply godlike at the game and stop balancing Zerg strictly around them, as it's so unfair towards everyone else. And as Serral and the other horsemen keep showing us, the nerfs don't matter they'll still find ways to win. It's just that everyone else is now utterly hopeless.
Thinking about the probe steal and what you can do with it. First what you shouldn't be able to do is use protoss units to a overwhelm the protoss. No matter what you build the protoss will be leagues ahead on tech for that. There aren't many combos unlike with terran who could potentially build medivacs to heal high value units or even keep an flying death ball topped off. But what you can do is cheese the protoss with protoss units. 1. You can build a nexus and recall, but more importantly you can build a mother ship to do an aggressive forward teleport and recall your army back. Depending on enemy army position you can potentially take free bases and get back to defend against counter attacks. 2. The motherships cloak is an automatic bonus for messing with the opponent, they now have to have observers with army and if they get sniped that's going to be an expensive loss. 3. Another one for mothership column, time warp, being able to hit the Protoss army with a that ability every 89 seconds. Do it once they will be annoyed, do it 2+ times and they will be on forums demanding nerfs. 4. Build oracles and abuse stasis traps. Sure people can cope with them but dealing with those traps on top of dealing with all the variables zerg inherently brings is going to get overwhelming if you put enough traps out there. 5. Sentry - While guardian shield may have a questionable value against end-game protoss units. A strategic placement of force fields against an opponent that was only expecting a zerg bag of tricks is kind of mean. 6. Lastly my favorite. Why didn't you build detection for dark zealot backdoors? because you thought you were playing against a zerg.
Hear me out. As zerg, use a probe to build three warp gates and build some zealots. If you have enough, mix 'em with a bunch of changelings and yolo them into the enemy base. Won't change enything by itself, but may just throw off your enemy hard enough to score with your main army.
Or imagine not having to drone as a Zerg and mining with mules... The problem is building a CC will take 6-7 extra neurals. I don't know who can even pull that in a real match. Yeah, once you tech up, Zerg with late game Terran benefits would be brutal. But how do you survive that long?
I have a feeling the probe was going to be for making a 2nd nexus for a second possibly more offensive recall later but it didn't pan out or didn't end up being needed.

Fungal into storm was my first thought but I think a stasis ward for the ground army of the skytoss would be perfect to clear the field for the corruptors doing the good old lowko maneuver. Especially when its not scouted it would hit the toss so offgourd. Ofcourse, also hard to set up this trap and needs time and resources, but I honestly think besides this trap, an oracle would fit really well into the sky zerg army.
Thats only applicable in sc1, with dark protoss where dark archons can mind control svcs or drones and with an arbiter cast recall to avoid getting the builder killed... then you get 200 terran 200 zerg which you can mass attack terran/protoss and mine with drones but its pointless in a normal map as there are not enough resources... and i dont think people play "fastest maps" in sc2... last but not least, i dont think anybody will rebuild another race from the start if your already past the 20m mark...
Back in brood war I remember being able to steal scvs and drones with a dark archon and then you would have separate supply caps for each race. Would love to play on Big game hunters and try to have 3 armies at a time.
I'm now thinking of sending the probe through the nydus to the opponent's base, then cannon rushing. Not a lot of setup needed. One nexus, probe, pylon, and forge to start up the shenanigans.
I can't believe my eyes, a recall on a zerg army was genuinely used at the pro level in a 1v1 and the zerg player went on to win the game. I cannot stop laughing
The only useable Protoss Unit for Zerg could be: 1. Oracle: Just another obnoxious caster that reavels stuff without risking an Overlord or burrowed Zerg and can freeze a few units. 2. Sentry: Another obnoxious Caster to stop the Protoss Deathball with Forcefield or prevent fleeing. Guardian Shield for Zerg can be the Death-Sentence for Carrier Fleets. 3. Disruptor: Stop the incoming Protoss Ground Deathball with Nova. Nova deal additional Damage against Shields.

the thing is zerg was always designed as a early game killer their swarms are able to overwhelm any and all early game defences but late game armys are terran and protoss because of their elite units
What to do with that Nexus? - maybe build a probe and a droppalord / sneak em to an weakly frequented spot in or near enemy base and build another Nexus there / recall the swarm offensive. Verry ambitious plan I gues... hmm but would be a mindfck ^^
I believe that Zerg has fewer advantages on the late game if you compare that tier of units against each other, but if the zerg player does the macro game we'll, they can expand faster and overwhelm with numbers, or harass enemy mining long enough for a finisher attack. But if Terran or toss get to the late game, they bring the big guns and finish off the zerg.

Back in brood war I remember being able to steal scvs and drones with a dark archon and then you would have separate supply caps for each race. Would love to play on Big game hunters and try to have 3 armies at a time.

I think I've seen Flo stealing a probe, bashing his whole army onto his opponent's defense, and them suddenly revealing his Golden Armada.
My first guess when i saw this was that it was for sentries, zerg deathball supported by guardian shield and force field would be pretty scary!
The reinforcing stalkers are engaged by the zerglings, so there's not enough anti-air to take out the broodlords.
I'm now thinking of sending the probe through the nydus to the opponent's base, then cannon rushing. Not a lot of setup needed. One nexus, probe, pylon, and forge to start up the shenanigans.

I can't believe my eyes, a recall on a zerg army was genuinely used at the pro level in a 1v1 and the zerg player went on to win the game. I cannot stop laughing

The only useable Protoss Unit for Zerg could be:
1. Oracle: Just another obnoxious caster that reavels stuff without risking an Overlord or burrowed Zerg and can freeze a few units.
2. Sentry: Another obnoxious Caster to stop the Protoss Deathball with Forcefield or prevent fleeing. Guardian Shield for Zerg can be the Death-Sentence for Carrier Fleets.
3. Disruptor: Stop the incoming Protoss Ground Deathball with Nova. Nova deal additional Damage against Shields.
4. (What Lowko said) Psi Storm right on the heels of Fungal Growth.
Since she had no extra gas, she could have just spammed cannons, or extra zealot harass
@@striker865 For this particular game, the problem with doing that was no place to put any Protoss buildings (except could have squeezed in a couple of Pylons next to the Nexus).

GunGFuBanDa probably thought Scarlett was maphacking or something, until seeing the rogue Nexus.

the thing is zerg was always designed as a early game killer
their swarms are able to overwhelm any and all early game defences
but late game armys are terran and protoss because of their elite units

What to do with that Nexus? - maybe build a probe and a droppalord / sneak em to an weakly frequented spot in or near enemy base and build another Nexus there / recall the swarm offensive. Verry ambitious plan I gues... hmm but would be a mindfck ^^

That was glorious.
I believe that Zerg has fewer advantages on the late game if you compare that tier of units against each other, but if the zerg player does the macro game we'll, they can expand faster and overwhelm with numbers, or harass enemy mining long enough for a finisher attack.
But if Terran or toss get to the late game, they bring the big guns and finish off the zerg.
