    Hey friends! When I made this video a few years ago, coconut cream wasn't as widely available, but it's everywhere now! And it works MUCH better! Simply whip up the cream from the can and voila! Whipped cream :) Enjoy!

      what i will say out put for you i do not choice to say where i get this info just think of what manifest created this whole universe is from it on old mix mix Ingredients hair tonic is used to promote hair growth by stimulating and strengthening the hair follicles, reverses heat damage, seals split ends, provides shine and elasticity as well as softens the hair shaft.
      What makes this oil different than any other one you have tried is the exclusivitiy of the essentials oils used in this product. Becuase the truth is Olive Oil & Coconut Oil won't grow your hair on it's own. I know we're all tired of the same ol' same.

Also if you see coconut CREAM which they didn't have when I made this video, that works well too and you don't have to drain the liquid :)

    My favorite sweetener for this is a low glycemic coconut nectar sweetener syrup ...or organic brown rice syrup .the May ploy Thai brand coconut milk taste the best .note it is dangerous to leave can goods in the fridge for a long period of time because of risk of botulism from can goods being exposed to moisture.make sure overnight only ..

The internet is full of fearmongering and false information so THANK YOU so much for making this kind of information accessible (especially touchy subjects like sweeteners and calorie/macros). Thank you so much! I'm so glad you're enjoying :) I haven't tried the quest pasta but I have tried a similar low carb pasta- it was a bit squishy and wasn't exactly resembling pasta, and it smelled a little like fish, but it wasn't terrible. I prefer black bean spaghetti or zucchini noodles as a pasta substitute 😊 BUT again I haven't tried quests specific brand so it's definitely worth trying! Can't wait to share more recipes with you! @MindOverMunch  9 років тому

      +fabirhernandez oh awesome! I hope you enjoy it! Thai kitchen also came out with a coconut cream since i made this video. It's a little more expensive but it's the cream of the coconut already separated and you don't need to chill the can to separate the water which makes life a little easier! I think Trader Joes has a version too :) Also, different brands of the milk tend to work differently so if you don't use Thai Kitchen try to get one as high in fat as possible! Happy to have you here! Welcome to the channel!

    I use coconut nectar! I'm sure it tastes just like coconut sugar, but with no color change ;) also, with my whipped cream dispenser, I haven't been able to get coconut cream to work. I put the whole can of full fat coconut milk in with a tablespoon of coconut nectar and that's the only thing that worked for me. I tried adding coconut oil one time and that just clogged up the dispenser nozzle when it solidified in the fridge.

    • @MindOverMunch
      @MindOverMunch  7 років тому +1

      Hmm I'm not sure, I don't personally have a whipped cream dispenser!

    • @stacymojica6113
      @stacymojica6113 7 років тому

      well I bought a can of coconut cream today so maybe I'll try one more time with the cream :) but i honestly have been very happy with the milk. S/o said it doesn't hold the "structure" of the whipped cream as well as cream does but for me the full fat milk creates a whipped cream that looks perfect and does not deflate. I wish I could attach pictures here to show it off! It looks beautiful LOL I just love how pretty it is coming out of the dispenser. IMO dispensers are well worth their investment. You can buy them for less than $50 online and having homemade non-dairy whipped cream ready to go in the fridge at all times is SO nice to have. We put it on our shakes, hot chocolate, fresh berries - so yum.

    Hi Alyssia.. I made this last night and added a few tblsp's of White Chocolate Wonderful PB. SO YOUMMY! Problem is, i bought the white choc wond. pb yesterday and finished it with a spoon this morning. Its so hard to have that stuff around without eating the whole jar. I find this with all nut butters. Did you, or do you, ever have this problem? Hope you are still planning to do a vlog about your journey, beginning to now?! xox

    • @MindOverMunch
      @MindOverMunch  10 років тому

      Alyssa May That sounds delicious to add PB into it!! But yes ABSOLUTELY I have the same PB problem... ESPECIALLY with white chocolate wonderful! OMG it's delicious! I have to spoon out what I want and put the jar away or else I'll eat it like ice cream lol!! I will be doing a journey vlog... just getting over nerves and trying to organize it so it isn't a boring 30 minute video and is more concise and effective lol... those ones are the hardest for me!! But I do PROMISE I will do it!! :) Thanks for caring and being so supportive!!

      yes, like ice-cream, lol!!!! i know so many people who can just casually peanut-butter their toast, no measuring, no licking the knife and certainly no desire to spoon in down...and im like...#whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa???!!! i personally love the longer blogs but i totally understand how unnerving it must be to talk about such personal stuff on a video for anyone to see. You have such amazing viewership/support, im sure any way you choose to roll it will be relatable and well received.

      I have an ice cream recipe that uses coconut milk!
      ua-cam.com/video/5n8dcbHxcCc/v-deo.html
      But, since making this video, I've started using coconut cream and it works even better - just whip it up to a whipped cream without the coconut flour, works great! Also, stir it every few hours if you can to keep it moving, it won't get icy that way :)

      Oh that will be perfect!! Since I made this video they started making a coconut cream which is even better than coconut milk because you don't need to separate it! Trader joes and Thai kitchen brands work best in my experience :)

    • @MindOverMunch
      @MindOverMunch  8 років тому

      coconut cream works without, but I think putting it in the fridge separates any small bit of liquid which helps it whip up thicker :) I do prefer the coconut cream though!

    • @MindOverMunch

      For this recipe full fat canned coconut milk is necessary- be sure to get one that has 14-15g day per serving or it won't work 👍🏼

    • @MindOverMunch
      @MindOverMunch  8 років тому

      This doesn't last well for multiple days on a cake- it will last in a bowl/container but will need to be whipped up again. It's best served right when whipped :)
