This was such a cool and different arrangement, and I was happy to hear Chris when he was a part of the group! Another Home Free for the win!! Loved it! Chris, we didn't have to "hype it up"! Home Free did that themselves with their amazing voices! 😊 Adam Rupp arranged this incredible & unique version. This was at a real Ice Castle in Minnesota! Merry Christmas!

The guys almost said no to Adams arrangement because they were afraid they could not do it live , they said this is why Adam dont do a lot of arranging it´s to difficult

Yeah Adam (beatboxer) arranged it. It’s stunning. I loved it. I’m surprised the ice didn’t fall on top of Tim during his low notes. It was filmed in an ice castle in Minnesota. Good reaction Chris. Have a wonderful Christmas.
Not many reactors speak on Austin's vocal that sounds like strings being plucked. Near the end of the video is one of the places that you can hear it if you listen. Chris I enjoyed the sounds and faces you made during Tim's basement bass notes. 🎄🎶
This is one of my all time favorites by Home Free. Adam did a Fabulous job arranging this, that guy is very talented !! I saw it live at one of their Christmas concerts and it is even better live if you can imagine that. Adams vocal percussion at the very beginning is just Amazing, so can hear it so much better. Dont miss any opportunity to see a Christmas concert by Home Free, actually any concert.
If you listen to the guys speak after the song, they tell what that place is (Ice Palace?) and where it is located (moves around).
This was actually arranged by Adam Rupp the beatboxer. If you are interested Chris Rupp has his own UA-cam channel. That was filmed at the traveling ice castle that was in Minnesota. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.

Adam did a FANTASTIC job with this arrangement🙌 The bass in this one was crazyyyy good🔥
As others have said… I do believe it was Adam’s arrangement. He was a music major … heavy on the trumpet performance. Fact: Adam warms up before performing by playing his trumpet! As you well know … the muscles of mouth, throat, lungs and pure strength are needed for beatboxing the way Adam does it !!!

Best arrangement of any Christmas song ever. And I don't even like this song. But I could (and do) listen to this every day, no matter what time of year. Yum.

When I saw them in concert earlier this month, they performed this one. Same arrangement (minus the ice castle of course), and it was even more amazing live. And, yes, you can feel those low notes of Tim in your chest! Merry Christmas!

Adam Rupp was the one who arranged this song. The location was part of a theme that is done, in different cities, every year. I believe it may be in Wisconsin or Minnesota, not sure which. And yes, they were very cold. Great Christmas song!
I never realized that there was a prejudice against southern U.S. accents until I watched one reactor listen to this song and the first comment he made was a negative one about Austin's accent. I'm Canadian and love any and all accents. I want to thank you for listening and analyzing the vocals and effects of the song (without prejudice!).

I finally heard Home Free in concert recently. I cried during Warmest Winter 😢 obviously. I saw them in concert last year. My seat was in the mezzanine section and Tim's bass still shook my seat!

Mostly you to have 10 singers and some slick studio effects to make it that good .... all these folk need = SING, ARRANGE, ADD BEAT BOX TOUCHES and phenomenal things happen. HOME FREE !!! The best vocal group there is !!!!! GBjj

Yes, that was Adam Rupp’s arrangement. It was filmed at the Ice Castle in MN. That year it was in Eden Prairie, but it moves around the suburbs of St Paul-Minneapolis every year.

Love your reactions, especially Home Free of course (Home Fry and Patreon from the very beginning 🙂)! Like many reactors you tend to end the video before it's finished and I understand - the song has ended. But in this case you miss both who arranged it (Adam "absolute star" Rupp) and where they were (Eden Prairie), as in many of their older songs. Love that you picked up the "5 octaves in 5 seconds" too, as the called it in the video describing the record. Merry Christmas!
I have heard so many reactors on this song and you are the first to point out the different octaves on that one part.. I saw a reaction by Chris Rupp, telling about the behind the scenes on this song and he pointed that out. I have never heard anyone recognize that until you did. I always enjoy and learn from your reactions.

This is actually one of my favourite Home Free songs and I will pull it up regardless of time of year I just love the fullness and colour in the arrangement.
This song is Great Tim shook my soul with those low notes and Adam does Great all the time they are all gifted from God

If you'd like to hear Chris Rupp sing a lead, he's got a lot of solo music on his channel, but my favourite is one of the last songs he did with Home Free, called Moving On. It's an original he wrote, and it's such a beautiful song and arrangement.

I believe a Friend of their's had built the Ice Cave and let them use it for shooting this video!!!
I recently saw a video of them performing this live when Austin was sick. Tim actually took some of those really high parts Austin does.
