2023 World AIDS Day: Let communities lead

This year, we acknowledge the role of communities in the global HIV response. From the start of the HIV pandemic, communities have played a central role. Their invaluable innovation, passion, insight and leadership has shown us that we can end AIDS as a public health threat. The UNAIDS Global AIDS Update released in July 2023 showed that enabling community-led responses-by people living with HIV, key populations and priority populations, including adolescent girls and young women-is key.
Our Zoom webinar provides a platform for young people in all their diversities to engage in meaningful dialogue around World AIDS Day. It's an opportunity for them to contribute their perspectives, ideas, and solutions to further strengthen community-led responses. Let's unite, empower, and amplify their voices, as they play a vital role in shaping a future free from the impact of HIV. #WorldAIDSDay.
