What I've seen seems to indicate that the Land of Shadows is a physical place that Marika has hidden away for some reason. I think it actually exists physically in the ocean between the landmasses, and it's simply shrouded in illusions. I'm wondering if perhaps upon beating the DLC the veil will be lifted and the Land of Shadows will become visible from the Lands Between, and vice versa. Your theory would have made more sense if the Land of Shadows was something like Zelda LTTP's dark world, but Miyazaki has said it's not. I think the deathbed dream is something else.
This area is my personal second choice. It does make a lot of sense. But, when we were in the Haligtree (branches) we saw a landmass to the north (west?) And it was blank... almost shadowy... but it would be the correct angle to see the tree as presented in the art. So, I think the dlc is North on the map, north of the haligtree.
Pretty sure when they say you can move seamlessly between the DLC and base game areas they just mean you'll be able to teleport between graces as normal, and the DLC isn't some distinct other map requiring you to transition between them.
Honestly didn’t even notice I slipped and called him a she! I think it’s muscle memory from when I first played elden ring as he doesn’t do himself much justice in the presentation 😅
It's hard to guess what the DLC will contain, outside of the obvious stuff already clarified in the trailer and the interviews. I think it's an interesting theory, but I don't think the deathbed dream is part of the shadow of the erdtree at all. The skybox reminds me of the one used for the Blessing of Despair ending, acquired by completing Dung Eater's questline w/ the seedbed curses, infact it looks very much identical to it... On top of that, it's a deathbed dream. It's part of Fia's questline and there's no mention or suggestion that it takes place in the shadow either. Beyond that, the DLC implies that it's a place that is obscured. If Fia could just easily let us slip into the realm of shadow to fight the Lichdragon, why aren't we able to just, leave that part of the shadow and move around early on, and why wouldn't more attention be brought to the fact that we just entered a place specifically shrouded from existence by Marika? Additionally, nothing in the trailer really points to an area that looks heavily infested by deathblight. I think if Godwynn was to play a role in the DLC, we'd get something of a tease for that. (Instead we got teases for several new characters. One of them might be there on Godwynn's behalf, or as you said in the video, it could very well be that Miquella's goal in entering the shadow was for the sake of his brother. BUT! If Messmer is also a lost demigod, he would ALSO technically be Miquella's brother... So, that confuses things. As much as I wish that Godwynn got a bit more development in the game, it's clear from the Duskborn ending that he becomes the god of death through that process. I kind of doubt we'll see another ending involving him. I'd be expecting an ending w/ Miquella.
True. If u think about it there’s also some true you know man? Ya yesterday I had myself a pizza too and dat shit hit harder than some C&J would og. Furthermore, .
I believe all these theories are going to be wrong one thing all these theories failed to address is why Margot and Rhadan are required before you can access the dlc every theory video skips that and

Seemless travel between realms just means we can select what map we want in the fast travel menu.
Great theory, I still think the veil and the land of shadows is over that water between leyndell and caelid
Can’t wait to find out in a few months! Thanks for the comment!
I believe we will learn a lot about Radagon as well, we dont teally know to much about him as well
Need to see godwyn
Miquella is he just so you know, St. Trina is the she alternative.
Honestly didn’t even notice I slipped and called him a she! I think it’s muscle memory from when I first played elden ring as he doesn’t do himself much justice in the presentation 😅

It requires mogh and radahn. Radahn probably because he is holding back the stars and miquella needs the eclipse to bring godwyn back
