Dude! I had this error 30, had no idea what to until I watched this. I got down to the fan and mine was crunchy like yours. I wiggled and played with it a bit and it seemed to get better until felt it was worth reconnecting it, and voila it is working again. I could be on borrowed time with the bearing or maybe it was just dirt. Exceptional thanks you! Richard
Ponsse spotted! Have been in Vieremä couple of times, actually. I was looking disassembly info about D5WSC and stumbled here - found a good video about it. Thanks for it!
Have the SAME problem with my Espar. Were you able to find just a new motor? Or, did you have to buy the entire service kit? I'm looking at mine right now and can't figure out how to detach the motor from the housing without destroying either or both! Thanks
Hello and thank you , Please tell me how did you separate the fan from the motor , my problem is that the fan is siting too deep on the shaft and is rubbing slightly on the housing.
Really like your video, but I have a question been working on one of these to. When i push the panel inside I hear it make a noise a like it's starting but it stops after about 5 seconds. So I disassembled it but could not find any thing obvious... any Ideas to help me out? thanks!
Probably not making it past it's own self diagnostics. Something in one of the electrical components isn't working properly so it won't attempt to start. Download a manual online and test all electrical components with a meter. The book will give values on components
@@MichaelJBerg did that testen the sensors on it for the ohm's and they look good put is half under the van and it worked. then i fully put it back and again the same. (It did run about a minute without cooling on it) and now it's stopping in the self diagnostics again. but thank you for the advice!
Does the espar d5wsc need an external pump to get diesel or does it have a pump inside the housing? I'm trying to figure out if I can just T in a line to the espar or if I need to put a pump in the line.

Always appreciate comments, hope I was of some help
I don’t even have this heater and still enjoyed watching your video. Oh, dear, this covid lockdown is having an effect on me.
Nice video walk through. And NCIS

What goes wrong with these that make them go down? I don't have diagnostic tool to connect to it & the dealer charges an arm &a leg to do this
Nice videos i might dare to rebuild mine
Dixie & Pixie were chewing on why-a-s Jinx the cat 🐈 is slacking 😂 LOL!
Quite a common fault on these actually, usually it takes the controlling unit with it as well, they burn out because of the higher amperage.

thanks Michael, where do you get the motor? I have the same problem
I had to buy the whole assembly. They don't sell just the motor. Search online. That's where I found mine
Can u send link to parts I believe this is what’s wrong with mine. I have same unit.ty
When they work its goooood.. when they brake.. Mann I them. And its expensive

That would depend on your model. They make a version with an internal pump, and then they make a version with an external pump.
You didn’t show how to get the motor out…that’s where I’m having trouble.
Классный мужик:)))
NCIS fans eh?
