Hi mate we have recently bought a van with the same heater but no hot air is coming out also no fumes are coming out of the exhaust have you any idea what could be wrong with it ? Thanks
Watching you service a hydronic it’s interesting how you haven’t opened the water jacket and cleaned by the look of the temp sensors this needed doing you don’t appear to have checked / changed the fuel filter in the pump and to change the burner gauze it just pulls out you don’t need to strip the glow plug boss or flame sensor did you explain where to align the spot welds on the gauze to prevent them blocking the air hole
Thanks for commenting. I don’t open the water jacket, I probably get that from Webasto. There is rust film but nothing more, I’d spoken to customer about a full system flush. The advice kit didn’t have the fuel filter in it for some reason, don’t know if someone had robbed it. I did remove for inspection and it was clear. (Filming on the job can miss bits n pieces) the burner gauge is correctly installed but you do have to get the assembly out as the green o ring needs replacing. The heater was in good condition seeing as it has never been serviced (even though owner thought it had been) impressive really.
Great video! Managed to service my Eberspacher following it. Much appreciated!
Great video. I didn't see you change the fuel filter at the pump. Perhaps it was done off-camera.
Managed to service my DS4WC by following your instructions and the other service video on the DS5 by 'Rixens'. Excellent tutorial. Thank you.
