I’m doing this stitch right now! I love it! Thanks! But a tip to all who try it. Watch for those yarn overs at the top of the “v”! They hide in the back and can fall behind the regular stitch. I found it helpful to use my finger to push out the stitches at the top so I dont miss them. If you miss them it throws your count all off! 👍🏾
This is one of the best tutorials I have ever seen. Your timing is perfect, not too slow or fast. I am having so much fun with this stitch. Thank you so much!
You are a wonderful teacher! I took lessons from a girl at a yarn shop who taught us a cable stitch scarf and a lace stitch scarf. Both were beautiful. You make things so much clearer. Thank you, I must give it a try.❤
I have this blanket on my hook right now!!!! Your tutorial instructions made it very EASY!!! It is easier than regular crochet Chevron stitch! BIG BONUS=NO TURNING yiiiipppyyy💛💛💛💛 THANK YOU🤗🤗🤗🤗
Ashley your amazing!! I’ve been doing a lot of your crochet patterns over the last few years and just stared to Tunisian crochet I was so happy to see you had videos and patterns for this as well! I just love you! Your a great teacher! Thanks so much!!!!
I have been trying to make a Tunisian chevron scarf to no avail. After watching your video I will now be able to complete my project! Thank you so much
I was looking for a simple way to learn chevron in Tunisian crochet, you really made it simple and easy to learn, I just want to say thank you for taking the time to make this video and share it. Awesome!!
YOU have a new subscriber today!! Fantastic tutorial - love the chevrons and yes I think it is easier than the "normal" chevron. It's beautiful --- Thank you!!!
Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial! I tried following a different one but it was a little too complicated. I kept getting off count. Your video was so helpful and well done. I can't wait to finish my blanket.
THANK YOU!!!! I have been looking for a tutorial on this pattern for quite some time now. Awesome video. Now I can make baby blankets in this pattern for our local hospital.
BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL!!!! I have tried the Tunisian stitch with the wash cloth you made. I LOVED IT!!! EXCITED TO TRY THIS BECAUSE I want to make Baby blankets for women's shelters
Thank you you made this very easy to follow, I've just bought some knit pro tunisian hooks and am a complete novice to tunisian crotchet ( I do regular crochet) cannot wait to start this 😊 love it thankyou 🙏
It all came together when you showed how you count each up and down segment. And you're right--it looks easier than doing chevrons with traditional crochet. Now I'll have to give it a try.
Thanks for the wonderful tutorial. The chevrons are defined so well in this pattern. I’m thinking of doing a variation on a classic Hudson Bay blanket.
Very simple instructions! Thank you!!! If I want to try a deeper valley and top, would I increase the number of stitches in the "5" going up and going down, and then adjust the repeat pattern? If so, is there something else I'm missing? Thanks so much!
Excellent tutorial, Excellent explanation, I'm really thankful for you , you really saved me 😂 the only problem I've now is that after 5 rows of work I realised i counted something wrong 😢😂 gotta re-do it now 😅
Thank you so much. I don't do much with tunisian crochet and I wanted to learn how to do a corner increase so I can try to make a poncho (two halves worked neck downwards). I think the corner increase shown here will be close enough to a 90 degree angle for me to use. I am going to work up a larger test swatch to see how it shapes up over many rows.
Beautiful !!!! Love it !!! I’ve been debating on a blanket pattern for my boyfriend and decided on this pattern. May I ask what Tunisian hook size you used for the blanket . I’m using 4ply. Would a 7mm be good ?
Hi, can you tell me, or anyone tell me, however many you start with x 14, say 140, do you always add another chain? So 115? Thanks x great video, thank you!
Hi Wendy! You can find the written tutorial instruction here: hearthookhome.com/tunisian-chevron-crochet-tutorial/ Or for the baby blanket pattern here: hearthookhome.com/tunisian-chevron-crochet-baby-blanket-pattern/
Great pattern and so easy! Now on my to do list. Thanks so much! About how many yards to make a baby blanket and regular blanket? Also, next time please use a different colored yarn than the background for easy viewing, thanks 😊
Started working on this, this morning. I wonder if the weaving part can be use to turn this pattern in to a headband? If this is possible can you post a tutorial on how it's done.

I do not have a cardi using this stitch...😢
Very simple instructions! Thank you!!! If I want to try a deeper valley and top, would I increase the number of stitches in the "5" going up and going down, and then adjust the repeat pattern? If so, is there something else I'm missing? Thanks so much!

Thank you so much. I don't do much with tunisian crochet and I wanted to learn how to do a corner increase so I can try to make a poncho (two halves worked neck downwards). I loved your video. I'm new to tunisian crochet. How do you take the long sections and make a blanket? Do you have a video teaching this?
This is the easiest Tunisian chevron pattern. I studied out of all I found on UA-cam
Thank you for great demo.
I love your hook!
I LOVE your tutorial! I am very new to Tunisian, how would you begin and end with the “down” of the chevron?
Love the needle
Love this 😊
This is great. Do you think the top and bottom would connect easily to turn this pattern into an infinity scarf?
Beautiful !!!! Love it !!! I’ve been debating on a blanket pattern for my boyfriend and decided on this pattern. May I ask what Tunisian hook size you used for the blanket . I’m using 4ply. Would a 7mm be good ?
I love that one I think I might try it

Thanks for teaching tunision crochet blanket...if anybody don’t have this long hook then how can we crochet
Best tutorial! But how do I change colors...?
Thank you so much, you made it look soo easy. Chevron isn't easy I lose count and my shape changes lol
I like doing the peaks in the forward pass, and the valleys in the return pass (pull through 4). Have you tried that combination? Love your video.
No I have not, but sounds interesting.
I was wondering the same thing! What size hook did you use?
This looks pretty easy ty for posting
Hi, can you tell me, or anyone tell me, however many you start with x 14, say 140, do you always add another chain? So 115? Thanks x great video, thank you!

I love this pattern. But please what size is hook.
Love it! Thank you so much for sharing! Do you change colors the same way we do regular crochet? Wonderful teacher!
Yep! I just pull the new color through during the last yarn over of the backward pass.

Thanks! What kind of yarn are you using? Cotton, wool, acrylic? tunisian is my favorite for afghans.
Can you do a tutorial on attaching these in panels?
