I’d like to point out that Steven was training with his powers from around 13-16 years old. He had about three years of training, while for the calamity trio, Sasha and Marcy only had their power for about a few minutes, while Anne only had her powers for a few months. I bet they could have been a lot stronger had they have more time.
You also have to consider that Steven had been training his powers more so for support, it was only recently so to speak that he discovered what else he could do with his powers. With that in mind he doesn't have much combat experience regarding his pink state, at most in base he has a proficiency with things like shields and his bubble boxing gloves
@@starshooter2470 well then again stevens durability carry’s him so much in this fight that if he focused on strength he wouldn’t be able to survive attacks and due to calamity trio being much faster (went to space in seconds) he would lose by a blitz.

We saw the max scale power they could have and that was with all the power concentrated in one person who barely handled the moon sized threat. Steven bodied both Lapis and the Cluster simultaneously and easily in his full power monster form. Even at their most powerful they can’t hurt him. I’m sorry but despite looking like super sayian blue Amphibia is not Dragon Ball. Second note Anne’s powers hurt her every time they were used so even if they could get stronger they couldn’t handle it

I have been greatly considering this match up since Amphibia's end. Mainly Steven vs Anne. I look at both their powers and really when you look close they almost seem matched. Steven can basically heal himself, create barriers of various sizes and shapes, fly/float, shapeshift, can scream so loudly it crumbles buildings (maybe more), create sentient plants and move so fast that time moves at a crawl. Steven is almost basically a god with these powers.
Anne meanwhile doesn't show much of what she is capable of, but considering her powers are literally a fraction of a god's power I can imagine she can do as much, if not more than Steven. That said, the powers Anne has shown is super strength, durability, speed, flight, energy manipulation, psychokinesis, can possibly cut things with her mind and possibly a healing factor. Anne took hits that would normally splatter a person or put them on the mend for a long time, but she either shrugged it off or was better by next episode. Her arm was broken by the toads in Toad Tax and by next episode she was fine.
Both are excellent combatants. Steven uses his shield and knows how to box. Anne is a master swordswoman and also knows MuayTai. It's actually a fun idea to see them fight because it's sword vs shield and both of them can enter close quarter combat when those fail.
Ultimately, with what we know, yeah I think Steven would win this fight. He just has more advantages and Anne has limitations to her powers. Even without those limitations, I still think she wouldn't win. Full on control of her powers though? Again, her powers are basically god powers, so who knows how much more powerful she can truly be.
I'm probably just going over everything VGMarkis says, plus or minus a few details, but this is a matchup that I've been thinking about for some time. It's just such a cool idea and fun to theorize.
It's really great that someone actually took the time to think and write this out.

Also to add on, I believe steven had training too for longer which is a big advantage for strategy. anne with her sword could’ve just trained for a day or even a couple of months. And a bonus, Steven trained along with Connie who can also use swords well, so therefore Steven has had experience with sword training, though I suppose that’s all more about skill.

In the books it says the Calamity gems heal wounds and grow crops. Anne def has a healing factor.
i also hope you realise that just saying "she has a fraction of a gods power" is just a straight up fallacy, its between NLF and just straight up wrong. Assuming she has a healing factor when she's never shown one is also unfair, she has durability feats, not a healing factor. the CalGems being capable of healing wounds themselves but not granting their users healing abilities is a perfectly viable assumption that is fair to presume since there's 0 evidence backing it up.

Dang Steven is a durability beast, bur I definitely think Anne's Full Power Blast is at minimum Small Planet level, because of the speed at which it destroyed the Moon. Powerscaling is weird.

@@shahinmotamedi654 it actually was supposed to be a physical attack, the attack was meant to destroy every gem, not corrupt them. So therefore if Rose's shield isn't strong enough, it will break from the amount of power they had to deflect. Note that it was THREE diamonds that launched the attack. If pink was actually there with the coordinated attack, it's definitely plausible it was supposed to be a planetary scale destruction
i feel like if they met, a fight probably wouldn't start. also we need to consider that stevens abilities rely on how hes feeling. he only got to his pink steven form because he was hiding his emotions and working with jasper. i feel like anne would probably have +20 charisma due to being the heart gem, so she could get steven out of his anger and take him out. also rubydomino can just revive anne whenever they want because they are literally god
Steven trained with pearl and jasper and have years of experience while the calamity trio doesn't come close to 1 year. You seen how durable not only Steven is but his barriers. Seems like his form thrives on anger just like pink diamonds outburst assuming this fight would most likely happen after Steven universe future. Steven will be able to control it with anger and can think more without his corrupted form

Even tho the trio has massive power behind them Steven's durability would easily let him outlast Marcy and Sasha. And at that point, with a weakened Anne, he'd easily solo her too. She'd get tired eventually and Steven is basically untouchable thanks to his 3 layers of protection he has (Shield, Bubble, geometrical shields)

Steven's shield alone is planetary level defense. He can definitely outbox them unless anne's final calamity attack can somehow bust through his impenetrable defense and shatter his gem. The Calamity trio lacks defense so they'd have to avoid stevens attacks which I doubt any of them can do for very long. Steven solos! high diff

i feel like if Anne could withstand the power of all three stones, she could eventually master it and become more powerful than just shooting a blast and then dying, and then she could beat corrupted steven.
But that's just if situations that didn't happen so

Steven has been with his experience of powers for practically the entire Anne Boonchuy series and only half a season and it wasn't even a good experience.

She’d easily blitz, especially now that she technically has a 9x buff. As she has the full power of one gem, and the whole synergy stacking thing.
Steven may have super speed but he has to activate it, it’s not passive. And until he does his reaction and perception stays at FTL. Making him Blitzable. He’d get struck before he could do anything, including his shields and speed. That’s kinda how blitzing works.
Base Steven wouldn’t be able to survive their attacks, I mean when you looks back at the clips the creatures the core summoned were the size of mountains. If they coordinated their attack they’d be able to kill base durability Steven.
With all seriousness I think you're right on the money with this. Future Steven could go toe-to-toe with End of the series Calamity Trio. Tho if they actually faught I have a feeling that Steven's talk-no-jutsu would work extremely well on them. Sasha would probably have to take up the 3-stone mantle if Steven tried to talk it out.

@@eyevou Wait is the bubble automatic? Because even the speed of true colors Anne greatly surpasses Steven reaction time. Steven can perceive lasers, so can Andrias. And Anne moved so fast she turned INVISIBLE to him. Which is a FTL+-MFTL feat. And you gotta understand not only did Anne have 33% of her power when doing this, but she’d have the synergy buff of the other girls. Meaning that she’d be 9x more powerful.
You could argue she had to draw some of the power from the gem. But even than that wouldn’t stop the fact that she’d still be able to blitz him. With full power, and less.
@@rest1585 Well no, as during Future, Steven was moving so fast that time slowed to a crawl, this would mean he's not only surpasses FTL reaction, but is moving at or is faster than light himself, as according to physics. So they definitely aren't blitzing Steven, even with a 9x amp, mainly due to Steven basically doing Flash Time. Also also, yes, the shield is automatic, or at least seems so. Earlier seasons of Steven Universe have his bubble appear sometimes when Steven was in danger, however it was a bit inconsistent, since Steven didn't really know how to use his powers yet. Finally, moving fast enough to become invisible isn't per se moving FTL, it's size based. You can't see a bullet after it's in flight, but a train moving the same speed will be very visible. Though I'm not too sure about the math on it tbh
@@natexeon9957 Ftl speed is nothing compared to the trio. Anne can far exceed the speed of light already. She’s already faster than Steven in true colors, she’s still faster now. Also she’s much bigger than a laser (which Andrias can see no problem, as proof he blocked them in his backstory.) yet Andrias couldn’t see her, to achieve this she’d already have to far exceed light speed. She’s bigger than a laser, obviously. Again being a Ftl+-MFTL speed feat. Not to mention she’s amped up 9x. Just the fact alone how she’s able to move instantly to his perception. Should be MFTL. As Ftl+ would simply be blur speed. It’s like in real life, if a baseball was flying at 35 miles you’d see it, if a car was moving at 350 miles you’d see it. No? If Anne is the car and the baseballs is the laser the car/Anne would have to be moving much faster than 10x the speed to be invisible. She’s significantly bigger than it yet remains invisible. I used 35 mph as the example based of how quick the lasers move in comparison to the characters.
How would Stevens shield even activate if he wouldn’t know he’s in danger? By the same logic as Andrias he wouldn’t see her, wouldn’t even know where she was. It appears to be he ‘insta shields’ subconsciously as a reflex he doesn’t have a magical force protecting him from all danger, he shouldn’t be able to shield if he can’t see them in the first place. Plus Steven only gets faster when he actually uses his super speed, unlike the trio he’s not already that fast. It’s something he’d have to activate, he still has ftl Perception at best, meaning he’d still get blitzed.
Considering Anne's powers are limited and Steven's isn't I doubt he'd lose
Tbf, that was because she didn’t have full power. With full power, we don’t see her powers run out at all.
@💚ChrisWokeUp💜 marcy and Sasha went full power and still had a time limit which means that Anne must still have one as well. We don't see her run out because that's when she uses the others gems to do the big blast against the moon

@@holad8117 My point is that Anne kept running out of power because her gem wasn’t fully charged. It makes sense. Its like if you’re using a device, but you only have it charged at like 25%. It’s gonna run low pretty fast. 100% though is gonna take a pretty long time to run out.
I personally think it would come down to speed. Steven pretty much beats the trio in any other category except for Iq and Speed (agility, etc.) including all forms. Even if Steven could perceive the speed of light itself. Remember what Anne did to Andrias? Andrias could react to lasers, and she still managed to move so fast he couldn’t see her. This speed Is around Ftl+-MFTL. So I feel it would be more than enough to blitz, before he could put barriers up or get into one of his more, sturdy forms.
What if i told you that we can get Steven way higher then that?
Lapis lazuli was able to travel to another galaxy in 14 days(which is an 138 times ftl), the chad which we call jasper was able to catch her mid flight, and as we all know in the later episodes, chaden chadiverse folds jasper and lowkey blitzed her.

@@rest1585 there’s also the diamonds corruption blast. The blast traveled from homeworld to earth in seconds. Thats ‘s drastically faster than what lapis did. And pink Steven was able to easily react to whites beams
by the by, don't forget repairing completely nerve-dead flesh and muscle under steven's healing factor. he *did* repair greg's arm.
Power scaling of Steven
Strength: in the steven universe movie, he was able to life the injector after his powers where weakened
Speed: A speeding roller coaster can go up to 128 MPH and steven(in his pink form) was able to make it go slow motion, in order to move that fast, you must be going at around light speed and no kidding is around 299,792,458 m/s, I don't think he was going that fast but still
Durability: he smacked his head on something going light speed and came to a instant stop
skills: bubble, shield, flight, instant regeneration, healing, super speed, super strength, fusion.
IQ: not dumb but not the smartest
steven may not have the trio's offensive power but im sure as hell he wins in endurance and durability. No matter how powerful they are, if he can outlast their forms, their synergy will be gone and they're good as dead.
Lets not forget that even if she uses her Hand blast with the 3 calamity stones
Steven can just use his super speed to keep dodging it and could even create a barrier around her to make her own blast go against her
Btw it’s stated with the power off all 3 stones you can defeat any Enemy but it’s one time so technically Ann can beat any character the only reason the blast for just moon breaking was because that’s all she needed

Stevens best feat in the non monster state is killing jasper, who at best is a warrior able to fight up to scale of garnet (Garnet herself only having really building level feats, though SU was never a fighting show so this is debatable.)
Anne is EASILY city level in her basic calamity state, and goes far beyond that in her super duper whatever armor state. Able to casually 1 shot multiple sky scraper tall robots. And hold back the moon [The moon not only being pushed by the core it's self, but also being effected by the planet's gravity with how close it was. And there are multiple scenes of the trio "Starting to push it back" only to falter when the core puts more force into it.]
Anne alone makes Steven her bitch in every form he uses, outside of the monster form which is planetary due to statements about the cluster, but even then Anne could easily outspeed the monster and in her white form simply 1 shot it.
Annes time limit also is far greater than around 5 minutes seeing as how her right with andrias took long enough for multiple plans to be made and executed with the forces down in the city.

I think to a point steven would also match them and be greater than them in speed. We literally see steven multiple times move so fast everything's in slow motion, of course we don't rightly see this a lot but it's something to consider since nothing else can move as fast as steven while in this state, even jasper who we see in the clip above roll in slow motion in mid air while steven is briskly running. I think that's something to consider since it's pretty unnoticed by a lot of people

Remember when the yellow diamond spaceship in season one literally exploded with jasper still in it (she was still able to get up and fuse with lapis and only had scratches). I love both these shows so much (Steven universe is my favorite show and anphibia is my second) so I’ve thought about this a few times. I think it would be more fair if it was just a 1v1 with Steven and Anne because having three of them just adds more variables. Anne pretty easily beating andrias is a good basis for her power level I think so if it were up to me this would be the data. Anne wipes Steven seasons 1-5 but pink Steven in the finale holds his ground and wins as he’s pretty much the same as Anne but with more composure. Steven would be able to compete with anne in his basic future form but would ultimately get defeated. Now basic future pink Steven (I’m not great at coming up with form names) would hold his ground and I think would probably end in a draw. Buff Steven would probably win after a hard battle just because he has so much raw power and anger. And finally I think corrupted Steven would win if Anne was alone but would get subdued if she had others. Honestly I would see Anne and Steven being good friends if they interacted as they stood for a lot of the same things and were both pretty chill. These were just some of my thoughts sorry if this was really long
Also I forgot to mention that Steven as a mainly defensive fighter could probably last longer that Anne can stay in her form then win when she’s powerless. I would include that into the comment but it’s already really long and I’m lazy. Just know that he might be able to win more that it seems.

I just think about it like this, it took three people to take down the end villain of amphibia but it took all the gems and diamonds to take down Steven and even then it was temporary. If Steven gets though his emotional barrier and conquer his powers idk what the 3 girls could do. I honestly think that the calamity trio with access to the full power of their calamity stones would defeat Steven Universe in most of his pink forms. Monster Steven is the only form that could defeat the calamity trio, and even then I do think that Anne, Sasha, and Marcy could defeat Monster Steven if they work together. The calamity trio wins.

Yeah Steven has had years of training with his powers in different ways, but if the calamity trio had that time, they would sweep the floor. Stevens shield was able to stop the combined blast of all the other diamonds, but those are just 3 powerful diamonds, where as the calamity gem things have the combined power to literally open up gateways to different worlds, and the calamity gems have a literal god that watches over them, Steven has crazy high endurance, but given some training, the calamity trio would sweep Steven extremely fast

Another thing to note with Monster Steven. He was strong enough to not only resist but poof the cluster. The mass of gems that was said to be able to destroy the earth! It sort of means that he could be planet buster level

Anne even in her lesser powered up form could be tossed through buildings and effortlessly get back up and go toe to toe with a mech that had the destructive capability to destroy a city all by itself. And that's her weaker form. Now you get into their synergy Calamity forms, and it's not even a competition anymore. They destroyed a massing fleet of hundreds potentially thousands of mechanically enhanced space bugs with ZERO effort at all. Hell they had fun and were smiling the whole time. And there's THREE OF THEM. Steven would get clapped by the three of them even in their lesser forms if they all had one like Anne did. It's not a competition, it's a massacre. Plus the trio has an overwhelming strength and speed advantage, maybe not durability since Steven has his shields. But still. He can't account for all their powers and feats of strength at all.

I'd like to point out the Diamonds at one point (I don't remember when) state they fully expected the earth to be destroyed by their blast, not just corrupt the gems. IT's likely pinks shield blocked it. It's also stated that since pink was 'shattered', White never left Homeworld. Considering the blast takes place after this event, then that means the three fully expected their blast to completely annihilate the Earth from millions or more lightyears away, as if they'd done a similar feat in the past and know what to expect.
