Well that whole ruby drama was somewhat of a mission. But i wish we saw more of bismuth mission's tbh
I really wanted to see lapis have an episode where she interacted with the main gems, especially pearl, pearl is really the only one who she never shared any dialogue with, she decently interacted with garnet and amethyst but never pearl. Their interactions would range deeply from potential friends to one sided hatred/triggering, lapis was trapped in pearls head for ages and could make an argument That roses War is the reason she got trapped in the mirror to begin with, with pearl calling out lapises tenacity to lash out and her opinions on fusion, but both could also bond over their traumas, relationships to Steven, and self doubts of weaknesses could even help eachother be stronger

Lapis is unironically broken LMFAO, to the point where she had to be out of the story in various moments exactly because she would've made it incredibily easy to beat most opponents. Definetly the strongest crystal gem besides Steven. It might partially be due to her being an era 1 Lapis, era 1 gems are NOTICEABLY stronger than their following counterparts "ex: Peridot is an era 2 gem if i'm not mistaken, which makes her weaker than era 1 Peridots (hence why she needed to use augmentations), and Lapis easily clapped two era 2 Lapises by herself in SU Future".
I don’t think those lapis that she fought were from era 2 peridot stated quite clearly that no gems from era had any powers.

I mean If theres an enemy only lapiz can beat they can always fuse into gems way stronger than lapis. Most of steven universe enemies only arent beat super easily bcs the cristal gems are a mess most of the times and dont go all out for some reason.

It is wild how strong Lapis is compared to other Lapis’s like she truly is able to hold her own especially being able to hold down the diamonds or Steven. We all know Steven is the strongest one tho as he does have the powers of pink diamond.
Well lapis is an era 1 gem, they’re stronger by default because the energy used to create them wasn’t stretched out like era 2 gems like peridot
@@cookiemoon947The diamonds are too, tho, they're probably some of the oldest gems in the franchise. I don't think the race was struggling for resources when they were first created.
Don't forget that lapis lazuli's created to destroyed planets and rebuilded. So they are powerful in average. And lapis lazuli is more powerful than average. Even if you notice that the fluids from the homeland have been exhausted so that they cannot use it and thus their strength is weakened
@@GarryDumblowski I daresay Diamonds are still stronger than Lapis in terms of gem potential. It's just that Lapis's exertion of her powers through hydrokinesis is way more practical than what the Diamonds (minus steven) have control over.
I'd like to assume all gem abilities originate from a fraction of their origin diamonds'. It's just that the potential of the diamonds themselves are so vast, the diamonds don't know their full capacity yet.
Probably why we saw all the diamonds suddenly find out all sorts of new avenues to takr their powers in SU:F, and why Pink Diamond seemed to have two polar sides to her powers: Extreme offense and defense.

Lapis 100% deserves 2nd. She not only controlled the entire ocean WITH a cracked gem, but she maintained her whole form with only her eyes and wings being shown to be defective until healed. She also held Jasper, the best quartz to emerge on earth, in a fusion for months before losing it. Jasper even said to Steven that she's the brute in the boat episode. To add, she definitely could've clapped those other two Lapises but she saw Steven was dissapointed by this and quit. (Ik some of this was said in the video I just wanted to say all this bcs I love Lapis sm)

I don't care what anyone says. Connie would kick Lions ass. Doesn't she fight giant powerful monster like creatures all the time. She got this in the bag.
I personally believe Lapis was a perfect Gem, having a perfect exit hole, just like Jasper was a perfect Quartz soldier.
She was also shown to be extremely creative in her powers. When she fought the other Lapis’, they say she taught them new things. They only used water scythes in the fight, whereas Lapis used buzzsaws, chains, and clones.
One of the reasons she was written as having so much baggage was to get rid of her. They couldn’t have someone of her strength around, otherwise she would’ve one shot every opponent. So, they gave her severe PTSD.
I feel like Connie should’ve been placed above Peridot. Peridot is very overestimated in terms of what people *assume/expect* her to be able to do. In practice, her ferrokinesis is very weak, she was struggling in all of her major feats and she doesn’t seem to be able to articulately manipulate objects heavier than tin cans.
Connie or maybe even lion could easily defeat her because she isn’t really durable even with Limb Enhancers.

@@giuseppe2173 i doubt Peridot’s metal control can ever surpass Connie’s combat abilities. Peridot was made in Era 2 after all, hence why she was given Limb Enhancers.
We don’t even know if peridot could have more potential so I agree saying that Connie should be placed higher.
Peridot has greater durability than that. Remember Kindergarten Kid? Where Peridot tanked several Loony Tunes hits including a boulder?
That Garnet was able to poof her is more of a credit to Garnet's strength.

And it goes without saying that Lapis had to be toned down a whole lot, because given her starting feats, she could’ve very easily done a whole lot more than small chains against blue. 🌊

I love how they connect Lapis’ love art to her high power level. She is always using her abilities in creative ways which elevates her power. Meep Morps really art the key to real power.
Haven't been interested in any of the recent videos but clicked on this one. It's not that I only want to watch powerscaling videos or anything, I'm just not a Hazbin or TADC fan.
Lapis is so powerful, she was never brought on missions, and was only their to fight Diamonds.

I was not expecting this to actually be accurate, most of the time I see people powerscaling Steven Universe they get a lot of things wrong.
Good video ! Other examples of Garnet being tied to electricity would be when she blocks Holly Blue's whip without even using the gauntlets and when she oneshots a fusion of gem shards to save Steven and Peridot.
Ok, now we need one ranking like this but including fusions (Alexandrite, Obsidian, Sardonyx, Smoke Quartz etc and pretty much every fusion that envolves one of thd crystal gems) and Ruby and Saphire

Also I think the Diamonds especially White Diamond are very powerful especially how they are all tyrants and White Diamonds even pulled out Steven's Gem. No one else could do it but her. Although all of the Gems are powerful, although I wonder who's the weakest Gem.
It’s not that nobody else can pull out Steven’s gem It’s just that nobody else has tried to and actually committed to it.
In the episode, three gems and a baby it is implied that pearl would’ve been able to take Stevens gem if she actually tried

Honestly if we take what Lapis did in Ocean Gem at face value, she might be stronger then Steven. Being able to control all the oceans at once is an insane feat, and it really felt like every episode after that they tried to play down how much water she can control.
Doesn't matter. Steven could easily slow the time and shatter Lapis.
As we've seen with the meat shaking arcade game, Garnet's future vision would actually prove incredibly useful in battle as she can predict simple moves and counter immediately.
But blues power did have an effect on Connie, you can see this after lapis shows up and Connie goes down with the rest of the group before lapis chains blue

Great video, but I do disagree with most placements, personally my list would be:
9 Connie: While she is really good with the sword, she is still just a human, there are no cool powers, or gem shenanigans
8 Lion: If I had to bet between a human with a sword and a lion, I would normally bet for the lion, and if the lion has powers, then it’s even more one sided
7 Bismuth: In episode 97 Amethyst said she was the weakest gem and, even though she was saying that out of insecurity, if we look at the list of official crystal gems at that point, it’s really believable (except for Peridot who I will mention later), in that same episode she fought with Steven and they were equally strong, why is this important?, because in the next episode Bismuth attacks Steven, it a location she’s known for years, with the better weapon, surrounded by lava that could kill Steven that barely affects her, and with intent of harm while Steven was just using self defence, and she lost
6 Amethyst: remember that I said it was believable that Amethyst was the weakest crystal gems, well let me explain why, first of all she couldn’t do any damage to Jasper while Garnet could out right beat her, Steven was equal to her at the time but, I mean, look at the placement in this list or in the video, he had a glow up, Peridot IS going to be explained please wait and lastly there is
5 Pearl: There has been only one fight between Pearl and Amethyst which was really close, the thing is that Amethyst was raging while Pearl didn’t want to harm Amethyst, and during that fight she didn’t use holograms, there was a point where she could clearly stab Amethyst and decided to kick her, she was also trying to make sure Steven didn’t get hurt, and that fight was equal, aside from what you said about Pearl having more feats
4 Peridot: Now this one is going to be controversial, when I think of advantages Peridot could have in battle I think of 3 things, ferrokinesis the weakest of the three, she has moved a car like you showed but the most impressive thing she has actually done with that is moving the giant pillar in Steven Universe save the light which is officially canon, you can’t really measure exactly how big the pillars are because you can’t see the end of the pit, but it’s not necessary.
The second strongest thing I would say she has is her creations: turrets with auto aim, robonoids who I think use AI because they act on their own that can self destruct, shoot lasers or grab stuff, the two really crappy statues-thingies that peridot can use in SU unleash the light, we see her use a broken version of her ship in save the light, which I can believe she can fix up real quick considering she made a mech with missiles, enough toughness to tank a Garnet punch without just exploding, and that mech was also able to throw a car over the horizon, finally there is that EMP she used on warp tour that completely fried like tens of robonoids, the same ones that did not get fried when Pearl made a EMP that shut down the entirety of beach city.
Quick stop to mention Peridot can take way more hits than Amethyst for example, Amethyst nearly died because she tripped and fell on a rock while Peridot’s out here surviving a looney tunes cartoon, and most of the gems have similar speeds.
But the real reason why I put her so high are the limb enhancers, and I know what you are going to say, she lost them, well, yes, but she got some new ones, in Steven Universe unleash the light you can equip items, only certain types work for certain characters and out of those items, there are limb enhancers which if I remember correctly, she is the only character on this list who can equip them, and at first glance they are not that strong, you can fly, walk on walls, shoot basic laser balls, have flying fingers that can electrocute gems, play fruit ninja, but those are not the real secret weapon, she also has a gravity gun, that gravity gun makes it so that the person shot by that super high speed projectile cannot move, while Peridot can, she can just shoot you with that, fly into space with her opponent and throw them at a black hole or something
3 Garnet: Mountain buster, really fast, really tough, ranged options thanks to the rocket gauntlets, future vision, she can beat Jasper in her own ship while she has a gem destabilizer while Amethyst and Pearl can do nothing against her, the reason I’m putting her above Peridot is because she doesn't need any gimmicks, and always has access to full power, she also beat Pearl and Amethyst in “secret team”
2 Lapis: Can lift the entire ocean, has won against Amethyst, Pearl and Garnet at the same time, she’s so strong that through the rest of the show they had to nerf her
1 Steven: Thanks to future Steven got the kaiju transformation, and it can beat easily all the relevant SU characters at the same time, so this one is the easiest

These rankings a pretty fair overall I'd say, though on Garnet and Sapphire's future vision I would argue we do see it used in fights like when she fights the corrupted gem with all the little drills. It doesn't make her perfect at predicting enemy attacks and an unfamiliar and skilled opponent like her first time against Jasper or Spinel can get the jump on her, but it definitely makes her better than most at predicting and evading attacks. And Sapphire definitely didn't focus much on her own future in the past but she does have some ability to see her own future since she predicts her own shattering at Pearl's hands.
Strongest fusions vid could be cool
Connie being stronger than Lion is crazy since lion getting all his powers aside he was shown to take hits that would literally kill Connie (best examples are when they fought Lapis when she stole the ocean and lapis threw lion hard into a rock and when it was fighting that corrupted ocean jasper and he went head on into the gem head and wasnt hurt). Connie is great at fighting an all but sis is just human she is lowkey glass cannon.

During the battle with yellow and blue, The 2nd time Connie was hit with blue diamonds emotion aura she did start crying along with the other gems… this was when lapis showed up.. everyone fell but lapis

I think most can agree that Garnet is the best Crystal Gem while Lapis is the terrifying strongest one (Not counting Steven).

Tbh, i think Sapphire is pretty powerful Although we dont see her fight often, Sapphire can use Cryokinesis for both offensive and defensive purposes. In one episode (I forgot which, but i believe it was one that had to deal with pearl or rose lying about something) we see sapphire create a wall of spiky ice nearly instantly to keep the other gems away from her. She could easily make smaller, sharper icicles, throw them to another gem, and poof them. Peridot is able to take out corrupted jasper with a metal rod. So sapphire should be able to as well.
I think we all know who is the strongest person on the show. That would be Onion.

Strongest gem
It’s actually crazy how insanely powerful Steven is. His speed alone makes him the most powerful gem period. He can legit just run behind someone and one shot them instantly before they even have time to react.

Steven can’t be mind controlled by white diamond because he’s human, and when his gem got pulled out we saw that “pink Steven” was strong enough to shield off all her attacks. So he easily beats white. Yellows powers also should have no effect on him. Her powers poof gems, and again Steven can’t be poofed so her powers have no effect. And even if it did he can easily deflect any powers by her because of his speed or shield (which literally is protective against HER AND THE OTHER DIAMONDS corruption blast). Blue diamond is the only one who’s powers do effect him, she can stun him with her sadness, BUT that doesn’t hurt him. And now that he is stronger I can imagine he’s more likely to be able to get out of her sadness stun (not to mention the mental pain he went through in future should also help him against her power like it does with Lapis). So after the initial stun, fighting her should be a piece of cake. Her blasts don’t seem to do a lot of damage, and again he has his shield.
The problem with all the diamonds is that they are just way too big, they’re an easy target. They are very durable, but so is he (he literally can’t die, he would just immediately heal himself from any injury). And his strength and destructive powers are op af. Granted we haven’t seen the full extent of his strength, but as a diamond I have to assume it’s way above average than most gems.
Pink diamond, while being the smallest, was actually the mightiest of all the diamonds.

Honestly, regarding Sapphire and her nobility, it seems like the writers nerfed her future vision. To me, it would make sense that either, her future vision sees clearly into the future as sapphire, or once fused her future vision is enhanced given the nature of fusion. Fusion being only capable when two or more gems have a mutual connection or understanding that strengthens the bond between them in order to fuse.
I feel like Bismuth would've outranked Garnet simply because she was bubbled by Rose during the war, she was still fresh from combat and we can see in the movie that Amtlethyst, Pearl, Garnet and even Steven haven't fought for a while when Spinel fought all of them at once making them rusty
Also Garnet can't see the future that much where she can evade most attacks like when Jasper poofed her with a gem distabilizer and even in their battle on Jailbreak, Garnet still takes hits from Jasper.
This list is great and my list would be the same expect for switching peridot and Connie / garnet and bismuth
I'm still definitely gonna say Lapis is the strongest tbh, she could just make a clone of Steven with that logic :P (Also Lion could knock down towers with his roar so I'm quite certain if he did that he could legit knock Connie's head off her shoulders.)

The thing is for the people who complain about him ranking Steven as 1 because he’s the main character, well I think Steven would smoke everybody even if they were a fusion not in his kid form but in his teen years because he kinda has all his powers sorted. Also he has diamond powers and white smoked everyone one time so
