Technically, following the theory from which she emerged from Homeworld and causing it to split in half, she would actually weild the power of a planet's core or even a star seeing how strong her affinity with light itself is

Something I really enjoyed about the Diamonds’ abilities is how they all have great strenghts that can be used for good but equally so for bad. In Future we could see the opposite of all four’s use of their abilities compared to the past original series

Don't forget the ability to create and spam white bubble which allows her and others to fly at high speed and phase through objects, she can share that power with her puppet and used it for way transportation, Normal Diamond, and Steven was able to stand on top of it to travel, It is so underrated.

@@gachaevery I may not be the biggest fan of White Diamond’s character. But I do like her size and overall look, style and design.
I believe that is still not how we know that she is strong about just using mind control. Remember when Connie entered the room and white sent pearl directly to her? If we think about it the one who was standing in the back was garnet ,and that make garnet is the closest gem to Connie. But she sent pearl to her because spinel once say something about white can read your mind while controlling you, and those time were fast enough so white know that Connie will fear fighting her own teacher. And look at how she control pearl to perfectly spinning like ballerinas. I mean if you want to control something which mean you must know how to use it, this show how talented she is controlling pearl to fight in her style.
Well, do you think that White can control the powers of other diamonds with his power? For example, he managed to remove Pearl's gun, but can he use Blue's energy ball throwing power and Yellow's electric poofing power?

@@kingpugisthebest Yes, I thought so too, but if he can use it, his powers will definitely turn white, but there is something that contradicts this question, weapons and powers are not the same thing, white power controls the stone, the weapon comes from the stone, but they do not extract the blue and yellow powers from the stone.
3:54, correction, 7 gems. Because think about it. We have both white and pink pearl, blue and yellow diamond, amethyst, and then garnet, being a fusion of ruby and sapphire, makes a total of 7 gems. But still pretty powerful nonetheless
if all the diamonds fused, including steven (ignoring the obvious reasons why they wouldnt want to), would they be capible of like, destroying entire planets singlehandedly?
Most likely, although they do have more powers that are meant for gems rather than humans, but then again, pink’s scream, yellow’s electricity, and all their strength combined into one would be pretty formidable, and considering how pink could possibly control plants, any planet with organic life would be pretty doomed
However, the healing ability on this fusion would be phenomenal as it could combine the healing abilities of all four diamonds and make an ultimate healing ability for the fusion and for other gems
@@maxximus6418 come to think of it, considering the actual canonical events of the show, I've come up with an interesting anecdote. pink daimond wasn't shattered, and neither has any other daimond... Wouldn't it be reasonable for gems to assume that daimonds are indestructible? In the episode 'the trial' I think it would have been interesting for blue zircon to bring up.

@@yourlocalghastyt285 because White is smart enough to know that gem powers like hers don't work on organic beings cuz they're not connected to her on any level? Like, if we go off of what she said in Change Your Mind, every gem is a part of her to some extent. Humans or other creatures aren't gems, so it'd make sense for ger to know that her ability would likely nit work. Physical violence would, no idea why she didn't do that. Maybe didn't wanna get dirty

5:11/5:13 in my mind i think its helpful as a gem that is a great in combat but not so strong and is fighting someone much bigger then their size the gem can easily control white Diamond as that her new ability so they can have more force and be much bigger and harder then the gem they are fighting. hope you understand
edit i know its for therapy and fun purposes but if the fight they are having with a gem is serious it could be helpfull;-;

Honestly I think the strength of the diamonds goes off of rarity because blue diamonds being a slight bit less rare than yellow Diamond meanwhile white diamonds being more rare then blue and yellow diamonds and pink diamonds being the rarest Which explains why whites beam along with every other beam from every direction with just a shield and easily knocked over white and all the others with just a scream
In terms of physical power she's only city level. The Diamonds themselves can't destroy planets, only their armies can and even then they don't even "destroy" planets at all, only terraform them.

Idk, I never see Goku destroy a planet made of pure diamond. And the size difference is huge, Goku its just the size of a Quartz, or a Jasper, so, side to side, Goku is a peanut compared to White Diamond. And think about this, the physical body of the Diamonds its the diamond, the rest of their body its just light. How the fuck Goku its going to throw a kame hame ha to a light form, I don't think that would do any damage to a Diamond. And I forget to say that Goku is an organic life form, like yes he can heal really well and fast, but, he can get tired, and seriously damage, while White Diamond its just going to be fresh like a lettuce. If Goku has a shield like Pink Diamond have, I think things can be differente, but that its not the case.
