@lynn5141 This week's video will be doing battered cod and battered squid. There isn't a written copy, but the full recipe is in the video. It's a very simple recipe. I will be doing a cookbook within the next year or two with all the recipes.

You're more than welcome. She's an old-fashioned cook , and sadly, a lot of our traditional recipes will be a thing of the past as the newer generations don't cook like our mothers and grandmothers did. It's very sad to lose traditions.
Rustlers restaurant in here does deep fried cod tongues and they are delicious...you get a choice of deep fried or pan fried..i had pan fried cod tongues today for my supper

Avocado oil. It's great for high heat but takes some time to get use to the taste. We love it now and it's all we use. Stay away from seed oils.
