This is a great quick braided hairstyle, that is easy, looks good, and is a great protective hairstyle for toddlers and a curly hair protective style as well.

Ain't nothing wrong with a Popsicle at 10 in the morning. I give my son basically anything he wants for the duration of time it takes to do his hair. He has a very similar hair texture and length as your son so I know it takes a minute. (I'm not as skilled as you so for me its at least an episode or two of 'word party' or 'sesame street'). I think its great how comfortable you try to make him : )

I'm new ish to your channel. My son is almost 2 and been wanting to do new styles instead of just in a ponytail and I found your channel our sons have the same type of hair. He is my 1st mixed child so his hair is so completely different from me and my daughters hair. I been trying to find what's best for his hair type and you suggested something in one of your videos I tried it and it works wonders! It doesn't leave white stuff in his hair like the product I used to use. Thank you so much! I even have a Playlist of your videos I want to try on my sons hair. Aw yay! So happy you've been enjoying our videos 💙 depending on how active Kham is (and how good he is about keeping his durags on lol) this style lasts about 2-3 weeks. This is a really good one for longevity, especially if you do it with some braiding gel/holding product. Hope this helps!

Of course! Anyone can do these styles. You’ll just need more things to keep your separated hair out of the way while braiding, but you’ll look great!

Hi!I have a 18 month old who won’t sit still would u have any pointers to help out with him.
Valarie P. Daniels I would say where you do his hair and when is important. So using a high chair or a chair he can be strapped into helps, plus doing it at a time when he’s already occupied is great, so lunch or dinner or during a snack. And a little distraction, I usually save Kham’s screen time for when I’m doing his hair that way he’s happy watching a show, having food or a snack, and sitting down so he can’t even fight it lol. Hope this helps! 💙
Just throwing in my two cents…my son will be 18 months soon. I just started doing braiding styles on his head. The highchair is really effective. I make sure to do his hair when he’s really ready to eat to allow for longer eating time, which means more grace period for me to take time on his hair (I’m not as skilled) 😩 I also just tell myself, we aren’t going for perfection just better than what he woke up looking like🥴😂❤️
