Same. I just messed with it again. Checked my SD card for errors, wiped clean and started over. It will only install the original firmware and NOT The new update. I give up. Staying with the old I guess. It works at least.

Thank you . I just received my camera yesterday 6/10/21 . Checking the camera i have Firmware Version 2.4 , The version they have on there website is 2.2 !!!! What's up with that ?
yes, take the card from camera, connect to the PC with an adapter, format card(you will lose all recorded data) with fat32 option, copy the firmware (from official website) to card and go back the card to camera, turn on and wait 1 minute, update done (check firmware version in camera menu)
@@stylerro Hey! Did you ever get the "parking mode" feature working with "event detection"? The A129 never detected any incident for me. Very disappointing. The only option is to let it record 24/7- and it could drain your car's battery..

I don't want to lose my videos when I update the firmware
it is unlikely you'll loose your videos, unless you format the card.
My A129 just goes into a boot loop instead of upgrading the firmware. Any known fix?
