If you have a second controller, the Cierzo chest can be abused as soon as you have the Town Key. Just give the key to your splitscreen-"friend" so he can unlock the door for new characters. That same "friend" can then hold on to your legacy items until you have everything for the character you actually wanna use.
@@eloquentsloth6080 You can also easily duplicate stackable items via splitscreen, worked fine on PS4. @@xenonopbr Exactly. Your main account (Player1) needs to put an item in the chest, splitscreen Player2 keeps the key. Create a new character, select Player1 as an ancestor, run down to the chest, start splitcreen, Player2 unlocks the wall, Player2 takes the legacy item. The new character can be erased then, back to original Player1 and Player2 splitscreen, hand over the Legacy-Item. You can do this as many times as you want, just gotta deal with the load-screen. Vedavel is the toughest Legacy chest to reach if you don't join Blue Chamber because you have to fight the 3 human Bosses, not so easy for beginners. Light Mender is simple, Abrasars Legacy chest inside The Slide is as easy, have the Bandits fight the Shell Horror. Nice wish i knew about this. Just made my fifth character. Do i need to pass the faction quest to be able to passed down equipment? Also thanks to your videos and help from skooma, i finally made a build i feel comfortable with. All els fails sweep kick to knock them down, rinse and repeat.
You can access legacy chests without doing a single thing in the game(other that the steps of getting to them obviously). That's awesome! Bows are extremely fun and you already know I am a huge fan of the dreamer halberd. That should make for some unique and very fun gameplay. Moonswipe is just too powerful to pass up for me rn lol.

That way i can get 35% plus whatever i can get from the levant questline.
Thank you for the great content it’s been very helpful through my play through, if I legacy my next character will the ancestor character be erased in anyway?
No that character will still be there and you can continue to use him as a legacy for multiple characters if you want. I am glad you are enjoying the content and thanks for the thoughtful comment.
Can the legacy (new) character put items back into the legacy boxes for another character? Even the same objects? It happens that I want items from two factions, so I need to know if it's possible. Thank you so much
Is each legacy chest a 1 time use each? Cuz it makes no sense for there to be multiple if i can just abuse split screen and drop gear and a key to 2nd character then use 2nd character to be the ancestor and then make a 3rd to inherit legacy
Are they only good for a one time use per new character at the new game menu? Or can I continuously drop stuff off and pick them up at the chests between 2 characters?
I believe it is a once time use since you see which items are there before creating the character. However, you can create infinite "Jim" characters and summon you other player with the key to Cierzo storage to quickly get the items you want. Hope that helps.
Hello. I have a question, if you could please answer. Soo, I made a rune mage and I need the red clansage robe but I can only obtain it from upgrading it through a legacy chest. So my question is: if i I start a new character, place the robe inside a legacy chest, will I obtain it on my rune mage?
No. The legacy system, works so that you set it up before hand on a character. When making a new character you must select that previous one with stuff set up as your legacy option. This new character will receive the items. If you have a character already made, you can transfer items over that have been legacied through spilt screen. This is the way most players get around as its quite tedious to set up every chest each time you do a new playthrough.
What would be some good items for a Tanky build? I was trying a bow build but doesn't like the distance play. Leaning toward a tanky sword and board build. Any suggestions?
Can legacy chests be used in coop? I mean if I join my teammate world, can I put an item in legacy chest and take that with my legacy character in his world ?
Legacy chests will only have items for the player whos world it is. So the second person needs to grab them from their own world or go without unfortunately.
Can items be added to a legacy chest after a character has already been created or does it need to already be done at the time of new character creation?
To get an item from a legacy chest, you will need to select a character as your legacy ahead of time. You can create infinite characters to delete and split them in with couch coop as a way around this. but one character can get a max of four legacy items. One from each chest.
Sorry to ask a random question to people, But I was just killed in hallowed marsh and bandits took my gear to a house north of some ruins. Does anyone know where that house is?
I am not 100%, but I believe it is on the bridge in the very middle of the swamp. To the left of the large poison lake with the mana crystal in the center. You should see a locked gate and will need to pull two levers in the ruins there to get inside for your stuff.
Hi, I put the master staff in the legacy chest and when I make a new character and legacy it, when I check the item on the legacy chest with my new character the staff didn't upgrade. Did I do something wrong? I know that the Master Staff will be upgraded once it's legacy

Can't I just Self-Split, give my new character my backpack with all my armor and weapons in it, then save the game with my split character, and quit and reload my other character to get my stuff back so now both characters have the same items?
