Mechanic B: The movement speed of the locked on and locked off mode will be the same when you are sprinting. Advanced combat tips: 1: Consider holding the sprint button and running away a few steps to dodge an incoming attack instead of pressing the dodge button. Many enemy attacks have a very short attack range, and can easily be side-stepped if you know which direction to run. You MORE IMPORTANTLY use significantly less stamina by sprinting these few steps than dodge rolling, AND this will also allow you to attack quicker again as opposed to pressing the dodge button. Remember to take into account the range of the attack as well as from which direction it comes from. It is important to note that some enemy attacks cannot be dodged by this method, and it is easier for characters with high movement speed. The following tip is a bit more difficult to perform. 2: As I mentioned in combat mechanics A, you get a lot of movement speed by untargeting the enemy while you are strafing. This means you can also dodge many attacks by simply switching to locked off mode and walking to the side or backwards. To do this you have to be more familiar with what attacks you are able to dodge, and depends more strongly on what movement speed your character has. Nevertheless it has saved my butt many times when I run out of stamina and need to dodge.
Recently got back into this game. I played it when it released on consoles and now I’m enjoying it again on my PS5. Been really enjoying your videos and lurking in the streams. I feel that more emphasis should be put into just how good blocking is in outward. Any melee weapon can block and all except gauntlets blocks 100% physics damage. Having a shield is completely optional, as shield gives more impact resistance and allows you to block projectiles but frankly I think most projectiles are easy to avoid with strafing. Blocking drains 1/8 of whatever the impact damage you receive to your stamina which is pretty much nothing. Unlike the stamina meter, the impact meter regenerate extremely fast so disengaging from a fight for a few seconds will fully recover your impact meter. Most if not all enemy (at least not any that I have fought) will not be able to drain your impact meter and break your guard in a single combo. The only down sides is that blocking does nothing against magic or elemental base attacks and you should not hold down the block button constantly as it does hamper your stamina regen.
Fantastic tip. Blocking is really underutilized by Outward players as it doesn't instantly break your stamina bar like in other games. Dodging isn't always the best way to avoid damage.
I have never been able to hold a block against a Shell Horror, his 3rd punch goes right through the block. I find the time lag from block to movement too long for me, in that time frame is just enough for me to need Gep to step in for me. Again.!
@@iamurage The shell horror swipes are pretty easy to see coming so you are going to want to use your counter skills to stop them. Block the first attack, then use brace to counter their second combo to stop them in their track and smack them into submission.
A better tip for storage sleep and crafting at major cities where you don't have a bed is to find a nice corner for your self and throw down a plant tent with a fire place and the most basic of backpacks. How is this beneficial? Is there a way to transfer items between characters? I’m aware of the legacy chests but haven’t used them yet. Can you transfer as many items as you want between two characters with the chests unlocked? I thought it was only for giving new characters items at the start.
@@joereilly8890 yes, when you create a new character and join in split screen co-op you can give them anything. So if you give them say a backpack that preserves food they can hold on to that and more even to the point that they’re unable to move from being weighted down so much but are still able to be called out on demand for giving items or receiving items
@@joereilly8890 Not sure why that is. When I gave my second character a backpack and dropped items it stayed on him. I can call him if I need something or if I’m overweight and need to drop some items off
@@BlazinPhoenix82 yea so I had my first character I made, got a bunch of stuff on him but kept sleeping to reset the vendors so I could get 3 of those scales and build that super good backpack right at the start. Eventually lost my house and the guy on the beach when you go through the town storage died so I lost my tribal favor or whatever. Decided to start over made a second character then hopped back on the first one to send the stuff over. This is where it gets funky so I do split screen thinking I can play as my second character with controller 2 but it wouldnt let me, the only option was “new game” so I make a 3rd new character at the split screen menu give him everything, load up the second character and open split screen, (this split screen character is only available via split screen, when I go to load a game it only shows the 2 different saves I have but when I open split screen the only save to choose from is the one I made earlier in split screen) give my second character all the stuff on the split screen character. A few things happened after that, those items never left my first character but the split screen character had them so i basically duplicated everything, but the items never stayed on the second character I made, I’ll pick them up from the split screen character end split screen go about playing and the game would either get stuck in a loading screen or id quit and when I’d go to load up the save again it would revert me back to the tutorial area right before you sleep. I tried one last time ln and the games froze in a loading screen, and when I relaunched the game both my first character and the split screen one had an empty inventory so I lost all my items and the duplicated ones. Sorry if that’s a lot to follow, are you by chance on console or PC?
For new players it's is very much good to learn which quest has a time limit... I accidentally triggered "Blood under the Sun" and didn't pay it any mind so I'm stuck with high prices in Levant..
for tip 8 (combined armor sets), I personally don't know teh armor sets too well to say which sets are better mismatched and which arent' but one i will admit is a very good full set is the Runic Set IF you enchant it with it's unique enchantments it shares with Tenebrous, now sure having said that mixing runic with Tenebrous is good too but it's a full set that can stand on it's own
Great stuff!! Love Brace for the simple fact the window is HUGE! I can not parry in games. I suck at it, and have just never been able to master it. Brace tho? I can use Brace. XD Great content as always!
An amazing build for you that my brother and i use. Spellsword/ wind magic/ mana regen. If you use an axe (i use sunfall axe) Get infuse ice and then a couple pistols Now with this build you can summon allies/ reset mana/ plethora of ranged spells and good damage between phisical and elemental Now for armor Master trader boots/ scaled leather armor/ (forgot its name but) theres a halmet in monsoon that boosts elemental damage. Add these all up and you pretty much cant be stopped unless you cant get the rhythm down
I have some tips and tricks I'd like to share. 1. Create a storage character. Perishable items won't rot while they're not being used and you can keep your inventory nice and clean. 2. You can use the legacy chest in Cierzo to duplicate items. Put an item in the legacy chest, create a character with that legacy and run to Cierzo storage, load in as your character on split and loot the legacy chest. 3. Create a character to hold your silver. Split screen them in when you need money. Saves space in your backpack. 4. Create a character for sleeping. When you need to sleep load in as them split screen your character and sleep. Can be used anytime, even mid combat so long as you can exit to main menu without dying. 5. Create multiple characters named after items you duplicate a lot and put the item they're named after in their legacy chest. Now you can duplicate different items without having to travel to Cierzo to change what's in your legacy chest.
Put Mefino's trade backpack in you backpack and you can loot entire dungeons without problem Keep mining pick on you even if you don't need iron scrap iron vains have a chance to drop valuable gems and gravel beatles that can be used to craft healing potions combined with blood mushrooms Combining and crafting materials in some cases can double or triple their worth Example: horror spear sells for 750 silver row materials cost

It is automatically turned on, you just need to find what button it has been set to. Head into settings and find the controls or key binds. It should tell you what button it has been set to and I usually change it.
If there is a possibility could you ever do a video of all or most items able to upgrade in the legacy chest? That would be awesome love your vids and streams keep it up
I don't know if you saw it, but the legacy chest video I made last week had some of the items. I will probably make a detailed list of this at some point since it seems to interest quite a few people. Thanks for watching eh videos and I am glad you are enjoying them!
Quite a bit late I know but there is a mod that lets you craft a "Travel Potion" that basically gets you close to Code Sonic speed when out of combat in a more...lore friendly way let's say xd I'd like for a reduced version still tbh but it's nice to have that alternative to rolling around as well
I did some testing on this so I know it works: if you're like me and hoard food, as long as you own a house in a region, dropping food items on the floor of the house stops them from rotting.
Thanks! It is hard to put into a comment so maybe I will make a video on good settings. As far as PC specs I have the nice 1070 Nvidia graphics card that has made my game footage amazing since I bought it.
Just to throw it out there and I dont know if it was mentioned or not but One handed opponents are all right handed and usually strafing to the left makes them miss a majority of the hits that they attempt to place.
10:23 "If you are bored while playing Outward it has nothing to do with the game, you just aren't immersed enough to enjoy it" That is the most braindead statement I've seen in a while
"If you're not having fun with this, the greatest game of all tme, it can't possibly be that there is a problem with the game. It's just that you aren't immersed, which, again, can't possibly because there's a problem with the game's design."
I already made a comment on the video about that. What I was trying to say by that came out the wrong way. I was merely pointing out some things you can do when to ease the load. I just worded it wrong.

That is the Pearlescent Mail. It is dropped from Luke the pearlescent, a mini boss in the Old Levant ruins. You will need to enter the Slide cave in the desert region to get there. Walk all the way through until you reach a locked gate. This will only open after the third part of your faction quest so you need to wait a bit. But then the guy is on the other side along with some bandits. He is quite challenging as he deals a lot of damage, but the coat grants you a nice damage bonus as well when you loot it from him.
"If you're bored with the game, it has nothing to do with Outward. You're just not immersed enough to enjoy the game." Oh boy how right you are and how good these tips are even now, a year later and probably in the coming years too lemme tell ya: I started a playthrough wanting to do a greatmace tanky build. What I didn't realize at first was that greatmaces loose durability extremely quickly but I have already spent a breakthrough point in the wild hunter skill tree. Whatever I thought. I got used to greatmaces but as soon as I got to levant and saw those juicy dagger skills I immediately switched my preferred way of play. Then I just ran into the local boss (Guardian of the compass) like I was playing Eldenring expecting to just "endure until he falls" or "retry as often as needed". Well apart from not having learnt my skills and movesets enough with this new setup I also burnt through all of my stamina. I got my ass beat multiple times until the game decided to put me somewhere entirely different and let a few days pass since I kept running in so he wouldn't heal his taken damage. Damn that discouraged me so much that I ragequit xD. You really gotta play this game like you're an Npc yourself. Even after you got all the best gear and skills. Preparation is rewarded. Not endurance. Neither impatience.
Did they change the purchasing house thing? I just talked to Risa and saved her from the south camp of bandits and I could already bought the house at berg And I don't think that was all the blue chamber quest
Whatever faction quest you take will gain you access to that towns house immediately. Berg = Blue Chamber Monsoon = Holy Mission Levant = Heroic Kingdom (This house is tied to a side quest so you don't get the house right away) Harmattan = Sorobor acadamy So once you begin a faction quest you should have two houses if you have the silver for it.
Is "Lockwell's Revelatiob" in the Hex skill line worth it? I never realy been useing the not sleep "buff" or debuff. How should I mange that as Hex,Rune, Rouge Dagger mage? :D
I would say the difference is actually crazy when you have the passive active verse when you don't. Dreamers root is not too hard to get and can make you more tired. This gives you a nice way to sleep for a bit when you come too close to 0 tired and go back to being tired after resting. Recommended if you are using elemental damage of any kind. Look out for other foods that make you tired as those can be of use too.
also whats the highest mana cost reduction that you can have in definitive edition on gear only? i see all these old videos with 100% mana cost reduction builds that are impossible nowadays, for example the packpack that they're using doesnt give mana cost reduction anymore its lightning damage.
The highest you can get is still around 100%. However there was a cap added to the game that prevents this by stopping you at 99% or 98% I can't remember. So light menders armor, staff, holy mission buff for -mana cost, become tired, mana tent, and you get up there. I would need to check the exact stats but with all that you essentially use 1 mana every time you cast a skill. Its pretty cool just not OP like it was.
No lol. You will not want to die on hardcore as you might have your character deleted and no one wants that. However, no one should play hardcore until beating the game at least once. Not saying you can't, because it would be a really fun and tough challenge. But there is a lot to learn in this game, and jumping in most people should expect to die while getting used to combat and stats. Especially since you don't know how to craft the essential potions at first. Those are definitely game changing.
Do sets even do anything in this game apart from matching visually? I got my hands on a lich set and honestly I get 60% mana cost reduction from random pieces with like lich boots and any 20% mana reduction mage robe and a black mage hat
Sets as in a full set do nothing. There are certain sets that are good because each piece of the set is top notch (Antique plate armor) but overall they provide no bonus for wearing say all silver armor. In fact it is often best to not wear a full set as you can get better defense with mismatched armor. (All lich armor is very good. Gold lich is probably one of the best mage sets out there.)
Ok well. I adamantly disagree with the walking simulator bit, as do alot of people. Im currently on a modded playthrough with travel boots +100 movement speed mod. And even with that, and unlimited carry weight ect, given its only my 2nd playthrough 4 years later. I am still currently 51 hours in. And just starting harmattan, got the first key. So no, if you're bored with the traveling in outward, its because they stretched it out waaaay too much. To the point you and enemies feel like you've been shrunk down and are running around. Most inside areas dont feel so bad. But the world maps, are needlessly huge, empty, with little more than the occasional thing here and there to loot or fight. Its boring, and you should mod it to get past the crappy things about the game that make it feel like a slog. Or you could end up like me, and losing your coop partner as soon as the main storyline is finished. Cause it was fun, but the travel time, can straight jump off a cliff. It was a huge swing and miss. Most everything else feels ok enough. But that 1 thing, artificially stretches out the game an insane amount. And its just a chore. The game is plenty long and there is plenty of secrets and cool stuff. Even with the insane travel speeds, you're still going to spend like half your time running around. So do yourself a favor, and just mod it the first time, so you dont learn to hate the game for it.
Autowalk is in your settings. Go to controls and it should tell you. Its = on PC but I am not sure what it is on console. As for opening the marker menu I think you just press A on the X-box controller. Whatever selects should bring it up I think.
""you can actually concentrate better when your brain is exhausted"" - so the mana regen is fairly realistic. typically when I'm exhausted its easier to focus on stuff
0:45 Infinite stamina boosting food? Sorry, what? There is no kind of tartine that boosts stamina, every one of them gives you stamina regen, not boosted stamina. 5:00 easier to wear the preservation backpack most of the time (unless you're using another for its unique properties, like the Boozu Hide for corruption resist and no dodge penalty) and switch to, for example, Mefinos when you are over the preservation backpack capacity. You can always change back to the preservation backpack temporarily to transition regions. 5:35 Also, weapon speeds are different for each type. A 0.8 speed dagger is much faster than a 0.8 speed Greathammer, for example. 6:10 I find it better to either not choose a faction at all until I am done exploring all the regions, collecting all the basic skills from every trainer (the ones that don't require breakthrough to access), getting better equipment and so on. Alternately I will "pause" my progress within a faction quest chain at points where there is no timer active, or when I have plenty of time to get a fairly easy quest done, but the latter can cause problems with making sure you get all the "parallel" quests done, especially Purifier which is still slightly buggy when it comes to progress.
-Yes there are no "stamina boosting foods" but that was just wording and with faster stamina regen you in a way have a boost to stamina. It boosts the regeneration -I never wear preservation and I suggest you never do. Only switch to it for region transitions. -Weapon speeds are different for each weapon type. This takes away from nothing I pointed out and a 1.2 one handed sword is still the fastest weapon (maybe besides dagger) -You can play Outward however you want, but one way is to choose your faction first. Purifier is a pain in the butt and it seems like you need to do it after the first part of your faction quest to make sure it gets done.
@@SheenShots You haven't really provided a reason for not wearing the preservation backpack except during transitions. I know of several potential ones, but they are only short-term situations such as hunting Manticores or hidden arena bosses. Wearing it 95% of the time, I don't have to remember to switch to it every time I transition, and its capacity is nice enough that if I don't bring Mefinos I still have lots of space. As for weapon speeds, I wasn't criticizing, just adding a bit to the information you provided. As for faction quest timing, I was just providing alternatives to be considered, especially as, for some people, rushing the faction quests can put one in a position of possibly not having the skills and/or equipment to successfully complete them or the parallel quests. And finally, regarding "but that was just wording": We communicate with words. Without words your videos would be meaningless. Which is why it is important to use accurate words, so that you communicate accurate information to people watching your videos to improve their gameplay. Otherwise why would anyone bother watching them?
@@GlassDeviant The preservation backpack is useful but that doesn't mean people need to provide a reason to not use it, and personal preference/build requirements are more important anyway; brigand's backpack is free damage for physical builds, Mefino's is useful for little packrat hoarders like myself. While you could ALWAYS wear the preservation backpack to permanently have it's effects, it's most important to use it during transitions as that is an instant 2-3 days passed, so you get the most impact in the shortest time by only using it during transitions. Good food isn't that hard to get anyway, and Marshmelon tartines or food from Harmattan are generally the only food items that are worth caring enough to use the preservation backpack
10:25 A bit late to the discussion, but let’s not just blame the players for valid criticism of the game. I love the fuck outa outward, but walking from zone to zone to zone to zone sometimes has me sleeping
Nah you make a good point. I have brought this up in the past but finding balance between open world and empty walking is hard to do. The new spawns with DE made this a lot better but there is still a lot of walking that can get extremely tedious at times.
"If you're bored playing outward, it has nothing to do with the game, you're just not immersed enough to enjoy it". Telling the player that it's their fault for not liking the game isn't how it works.
Fair point, but I was not trying to insult players. Just wanted to get the point across that the "walking simulator" isn't necessary. There are things you should be doing while walking that get you to the next fight in a less boring way.
How is telling someone he isn't immersed enough faulting him ? It's not actually. It's just saying : "you're not configured to taste this kind of experience", which is a statement of facts. And it's okay.
"If you are bored while playing Outward, it has nothing to do with the game, you just aren't immersed enough to enjoy it" I profoundly disagree there mate, it totally does have to do with the game.
Yes this statement I made was much more aggressive than I wanted it to be. I was merely trying to stat that there are some things to alleviate the boredom of walking since you do it a lot in Outward.
"If you are bored while playing outward, it has nothing to do with the game...." it has everything to do with the game, it isn't the customer's job to make himself immersed. Maybe it isn't their type of game, maybe the game does a bad job or maybe it's just a bad game.
I have had multiple people comment on this and ya it is worded badly. My purpose was to let people know there are things you can do in between combat. Outward is often called "walking simulator" but it really isn't because you are supposed to be focused on the survival aspect of things when you are walking around. So yes I probably worded this the wrong way but I was only trying to explain how to avoid feeling that way.
@@SheenShots and the game does do a bad job of directing people to do those. I didn't even consider being able to do that until I saw you do it in this video. I put 15 hours into this game before I quit because of the loading.
@@9usuck0 if you dont get immersed its your fault, the game can only provide the tools for your immersion, idk man invent a story in your head about what your character is and his objectives, or just go play a pen and papaer rpg because you cant get more imersive than that

Nice video though I am a bit ogf put by needing to have long stretches of walking while doing very little... guess this the kind of game to play with a joint and podcast. Also im doing the "Ellat?" Quest line. Does anyone know if im supposed to just be able to rush it or if I should explore first because ho boy am I dying alot lol.
Outward has always been criticized for its" walking simulator" factor. The problem is the game only works it it has all this space and walking time. Otherwise the survival mechanics are meaningless. So I usually watch a bit of TV or youtube when I play for some background. (Outward is very good for this since you do have a lot of quest time, potions making, and preparing for fights.) As for the Holy Mission (Ellat questline) you can rush it and should until you clear the corrupted tombs. But then you have some time to explore and look for better gear. Whenever you have a quest but no timer on it is when to explore. It will say you have 3 days and then leads to infinite time. The next quest does not trigger until you talk to the next person if that makes sense. In other words, exploration is never a bad idea.
Worth noting that 0.8 and 1.1 etc is different per weapon type…so a 1.1 1h sword will still be significantly faster than a 1.1 2h greatmace

@@joereilly8890 yes, when you create a new character and join in split screen co-op you can give them anything. So if you give them say a backpack that preserves food they can hold on to that and more even to the point that they’re unable to move from being weighted down so much but are still able to be called out on demand for giving items or receiving items
@@BlazinPhoenix82 I can’t seem to get the items to stay on my second character using the split screen.
8:37 that Phytoflaura was very offended you didn't choose them to be featured in the video xD
Nice video as always Sheen!
Thanks. It snuck up on me while trying to record brace and I decided it deserved some credit 😂
for tip 8 (combined armor sets), I personally don't know teh armor sets too well to say which sets are better mismatched and which arent' but one i will admit is a very good full set is the Runic Set IF you enchant it with it's unique enchantments it shares with Tenebrous, now sure having said that mixing runic with Tenebrous is good too but it's a full set that can stand on it's own
Great stuff!! Love Brace for the simple fact the window is HUGE! I can not parry in games. I suck at it, and have just never been able to master it. Brace tho? I can use Brace. XD
Great content as always!
Thank you. Counters do get very frustrating especially against bandits... but Brace is my saving grace as well 😂
Hahaha, remember this : if the enemies cant move, you don't need to dodge xD Nice video sheen ;)
Such a fine statement 😂
An amazing build for you that my brother and i use. Spellsword/ wind magic/ mana regen.
If you use an axe (i use sunfall axe)
Get infuse ice and then a couple pistols
Now with this build you can summon allies/ reset mana/ plethora of ranged spells and good damage between phisical and elemental
Now for armor
Master trader boots/ scaled leather armor/ (forgot its name but) theres a halmet in monsoon that boosts elemental damage.
Add these all up and you pretty much cant be stopped unless you cant get the rhythm down
If you want to upgrade items in the legacy chest, don't enchant them. The same applies to any upgrade via crafting.
unless they're iron knuckles... those gold knuckles with unsuspected strength go crazy
Great tips thank you!
tartines are really good , the one in the platau are really good , they offer attack+
They are my favorite snack to make in Outward actually. Love those ones.
Put Mefino's trade backpack in you backpack and you can loot entire dungeons without problem
Keep mining pick on you even if you don't need iron scrap iron vains have a chance to drop valuable gems and gravel beatles that can be used to craft healing potions combined with blood mushrooms
Combining and crafting materials in some cases can double or triple their worth
Example: horror spear sells for 750 silver row materials cost
"dont forget to mark your map"
Me: map, what map?!? *presses every button on my controller* right on the d-pad, how have i been playing for 7 hours and never pressed right on the d-pad.
I remember the first time I played Outward 😂. So many things I just had no clue about until my third or even fourth character LOL.
me and my brother did 2 whole playthroughs before we discovered special attacks are a thing, though in all fairness regular attack spam is the best choice in most cases
Great vid,, you can also de-craft while auto walking
I found that useful
how do you turn on auto walking?
Oh ya I love to use that one, especially when I am super heavy which is typically always 😂
It is automatically turned on, you just need to find what button it has been set to. Head into settings and find the controls or key binds. It should tell you what button it has been set to and I usually change it.
Awesome video 👌

This video is the best quick reminder of useful Things.

Great video. Thanks!!
Best food is predator buillon because ez to get and you get in one food healt, stamina regen, dmg+
best food combo is Bread of the wild+ Marshmellon tartine= lvl.5 stamina and hp regen
Totally agree. Easy to get and very nice to have extra amounts of.
Personally i enjoy the super speed from code sonic, while walking is emmersive and the lands are pretty it does get tedious fairly fast.
Oh yes. The super sonic is insanely useful for people who don't want to walk miles upon miles all the time lol.
Quite a bit late I know but there is a mod that lets you craft a "Travel Potion" that basically gets you close to Code Sonic speed when out of combat in a more...lore friendly way let's say xd
I'd like for a reduced version still tbh but it's nice to have that alternative to rolling around as well
I did some testing on this so I know it works: if you're like me and hoard food, as long as you own a house in a region, dropping food items on the floor of the house stops them from rotting.
Really funny how this is a thing. Great tip!
Hey sheenshots, have ya ever tried playing outward (definitive edition) on console? (Like ps5, switch, etc. )
love your videos, keep it up.
What are your PC specs? and video settings... Your game looks so good.
Actually this has not been mentioned so great tip! Strafing against a shell horror is stupid as you can get right behind them easily. Great tactic.
10:23 "If you are bored while playing Outward it has nothing to do with the game, you just aren't immersed enough to enjoy it"
That is the most braindead statement I've seen in a while
And congrats on not reading the pinned comment at the top.

I didn't know about the map markers! I wonder how to do it on xbox.
Good video.
Much appreciated.

Yo dude, what your coat called? It's dope, i want it.
You're just not immersed enough to enjoy the game."
Oh boy how right you are and how good these tips are even now, a year later and probably in the coming years too lemme tell ya:
I started a playthrough wanting to do a greatmace tanky build.
I just talked to Risa and saved her from the south camp of bandits and I could already bought the house at berg
And I don't think that was all the blue chamber quest
Whatever faction quest you take will gain you access to that towns house immediately.
Berg = Blue Chamber
Monsoon = Holy Mission
Levant = Heroic Kingdom (This house is tied to a side quest so you don't get the house right away)
Harmattan = Sorobor acadamy
So once you begin a faction quest you should have two houses if you have the silver for it.
@@SheenShots ahh I see Thnx for clearing it up
:D
Got into the game few days ago and your videos are very useful to not get lost 😁👍
me watching in 2024 (again) because I just can't get enough Sheenshots Outward content.
@@SheenShots Thank you :)
also whats the highest mana cost reduction that you can have in definitive edition on gear only? i see all these old videos with 100% mana cost reduction builds that are impossible nowadays, for example the packpack that they're using doesnt give mana cost reduction anymore its lightning damage.
@SheenShots you can still get 100% with gear only? How? Gear only tho, no buffs and food and drinks
6:52 so…….does that tip apply when having a “Hardcore” character?
No kidding, thanks for the reply.
@@SheenShots but you dont get any special bonuses for wearing a "set" like you would normally do in any other game?

I just found the best exploit in this game to duplicate anything
""you can actually concentrate better when your brain is exhausted"" - so the mana regen is fairly realistic. typically when I'm exhausted its easier to focus on stuff
Why devs patches out all silver related tricks? I'm as a new player struggle with it a lot, sadly…
It boosts the regeneration
-I never wear preservation and I suggest you never do. Only switch to it for region transitions.
-Weapon speeds are different for each weapon type. This takes away from nothing I pointed out and a 1.2 one handed sword is still the fastest weapon (maybe besides dagger)
-You can play Outward however you want, but one way is to choose your faction first.

A bit late to the discussion, but let’s not just blame the players for valid criticism of the game. I love the fuck outa outward, but walking from zone to zone to zone to zone sometimes has me sleeping
Nah you make a good point. I have brought this up in the past but finding balance between open world and empty walking is hard to do. The new spawns with DE made this a lot better but there is still a lot of walking that can get extremely tedious at times.

wait... there is a map?
Ya it is an automatic thing so no need to buy it or anything. Very helpful for marking important places on your map.
I’ve played not a fan.
"If you are bored while playing Outward, it has nothing to do with the game, you just aren't immersed enough to enjoy it"
I profoundly disagree there mate, it totally does have to do with the game.
@@9usuck0 if you dont get immersed its your fault, the game can only provide the tools for your immersion, idk man invent a story in your head about what your character is and his objectives, or just go play a pen and papaer rpg because you cant get more imersive than that
@TheLkeGamers that's the laziest excuse ever, "if you can't get immersed, that's your fault. " no its theirs. A good game draws you in and makes you play, a bad one feels like a chore. Just like reading the simp like replies defending this bad game.
(Outward is very good for this since you do have a lot of quest time, potions making, and preparing for fights.)
As for the Holy Mission (Ellat questline) you can rush it and should until you clear the corrupted tombs. But then you have some time to explore and look for better gear. Whenever you have a quest but no timer on it is when to explore. It will say you have 3 days and then leads to infinite time. The next quest does not trigger until you talk to the next person if that makes sense. In other words, exploration is never a bad idea.
@@SheenShots dope ill keep that in mind. Thanks!
