- This year, Rivian is opening many new spaces locations to allow the public to experience the R1T and R1S. Despite being an automotive company, there are many positions that don’t require an automotive background. In fact, for positions in our Rivian Spaces like Venice, NYC, or Vancouver, the more life experience, passion for adventure, and desire to bring people together, the better. So, our own Val Horton, Sr. Recruiter, took a drive around Venice, CA getting to know the unique and interesting backgrounds of some of our spaces team, and how they’ve each taken the road less traveled to find their place at Rivian.

Every Rivian employee has been such a pleasure to interact with-online, in person, on the phone, in every department. The excitement and company culture really comes through. I could see this with a small possible but it truly amazes that a company with over 11,000 employees can continue to hire the right people and keep them happy. I sure wish I could be part of the team too!
I applied to Rivian 3x and never got a response. I like their products and their vision and i love cars and performance and i am tired of sitting behind a desk. I saw a position that rides along with a driver to do some tests using a laptop. That is my background. I Believe when we are enthusiastic about a job, we do it with joy.
Everyone at the Rivian Hub in Venice and at corporate has been such a joy to speak with. Can't wait to join.

The Rivian people at our SC are amazing. Our Guide is good, but we did run into some issues of being told one thing and that not being the correct answer. We talked to the managers and we suggested that maybe some additional training would help.....but she WAS kind, amazing, and answered questions in a timely manner. My wife named our Blue R1T "Lapis" and in the blue gemstone.
Do they hire remote software engineers? I'd like to apply. I live the lifestyle. Software engineer during the week, Breckenridge Ski Instructor on the weekends. I roll up to the skier parking in my white Rivian named Galadriel - Lady of the Wood, rocking the bed rack carrying my black and gold Fischer FIS race skis. ;) The gold on the skis match my brake calipers. LOL.

Love the enthusiasm and energy here. BUT...like the comment above - are there any later career Rivian employees in office teams?Like with actual gray hair, lots of work experience, ??? Because there sure is among your customer base. And, we’ve got $. 😅
