      Maltitol. . . Picked up some sugar free hard candy one day a few years ago. I could have had a colonoscopy the next day!

    So, yesterday, my hubby and I went to a coffee shop in the afternoon ... I had already drunk enough coffee for the day and decided on a smoothie (Not the norm for me) ... Protein powder, collagen, almond milk, banana and dates ... Urgh!! BAD decision ... today I'm suffering the consequences ... My stomach is upset and I feel SO bad that I had those awful ingredients! This video was very informative - Thank you!!

    Louisiana here….onion struggle is real. I lost 70 lbs in 2018 on lazy keto….gained over 40 back. Flash forward to May of this year, and bloodwork was not great. Went back on keto over 5 weeks ago….it is coming off WAY slower! 11 pounds down, but belly bloat after eating certain things. I am trying healthy keto this time….lost faster on lazy….our bodies are a crazy puzzle to solve! No instruction manual

    You're right . Of course depends on our past illness. In my case , befor keto I had stomach problems such as colitis, irritable colon and so on. When I eat broccoli, cabbage , almonds ( including almond flour), culiflower and any seeds; I got nausea, stomach gas and constipation.
    I just avoid them and that's the solution. I try to find alternatives for my keto meal. I love animal meat, so I can eat them a lot with lettuce, mushrooms , avocado and asparragus. So delicious.❤ For keto desserts the coconut flour is the best one.

    I just found you and you're exactly right!! It's been just over a year that I've been on Keto ( Dr. Eric Westman's version). My migraines are gone and no more pain in my previously fractured ankle (20 yrs ago). I've down 35lbs and feeling great. It's great to see a dietician buck the trend. I no longer use seed oils as they are too high in Omega 6. Butter, olive and avocado oils are my go to. I noticed you use an Air Fryer, I need to get. Keep up the great work.

    Thankfully I never had an issue with raw broccoli and belly bloat. I spray it with some oil, season it and massage it in.

    Spicy bean sauce in mapo tofu makes me bloated, big time!
    Was it the bean sauce or the tofu? Not quite sure.
    Ether way, last time I ate that, I thought I was gonna explode!
