Have you switched to an anti-inflammatory plan?! Let me know!!!! And be sure to watch my story as I switched from a plant based diet to a keto, anti-inflammatory diet - ua-cam.com/video/VG35mhCvn0M/v-deo.html

As someone with Hashimotos, I know you are 100% correct. Gluten makes me feel terrible.

I have hashimoto's and probably sjogren's. I eliminated gluten first, probably 6 years ago. The difference was remarkable. Then I did an elimination diet to get rid of triggers. Out went legumes, I do have peanut butter sometimes. Then went corn and soy. I kept grain carbs low.
My inflammation was still a problem, even avoiding night shades.
I am now keto-AIP, as is my special needs daughter who is still at home. Although our bodies are not perfect we are doing very well. Our endocrinologist, rheumatologist, and most recently a hematologist appointment for my daughter all had the same result: KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING, YOUR DIET IS EXCELLENT. One even went on to say how wrong we (the medical professionals) had been advising high carb, low fat diets that have created an obese society 😳
There are wise Healthcare providers out there, keep looking.
I stop here for inspiration, thanks!!

You're going to like this, Ketogenic "diet" came out in print in 1918 written by a RN for nutritional guidelines for a type 2 Diabetic. Some how the medical community has amnesia. It has turned and is still turning by health around for the good. 🎉🎉🎉

meat and eggs cause inflammation this is a fact and its especially true in insulin sensitive individuals and people on the keto diet would be very insulin sensitive

I need to find out the best way to approach my step-daughter about her daughters weight. She's only 8, and weights 95.6 lbs. I can't even think about kids in her school making fun of her. If not now, but in Jr. High & high school! My mom had me on my 1st diet when I was around 7 or 8. Anyone have any suggestions??? Thanks so much for any help you give me!! Have a great day!!

If the parents are sensitive about it I suggest you step back. If you push it now you may be cut off. Just wait until your granddaughters old enough to talk to her directly.
