I’d like a quick video describing the history of the company and the partnership with Aero/VG6 and what positive aspects have come because of the partnerships.
I just bought a 11.3 Hanson to fit into a 10in Geissele MK4 Federal handguard. Should be an awesome build!
So Clint says an 11.3" hanson barrel is best fit with a 10" rail. But this completely contradicts that they sell their 11.3" hanson complete uppers with a 9" rail! Why not use a 10" rail on the 11.3" hanson upper?
Why no right angles. I assume those are areas where stress concentrates in harmonics, but that is just an assumption on my part.

Just finished my 11.3 Hanson and put a couple hundred down the pipe today. I’m very happy so far. Light weight and very accurate...!!

My local gun shop In TX sold me one of their 8" barrel for my 300blk build. Never heard of the brand but I had faith in the products he carries in his shop. Turns out ballistic advantage seem to be a lot like the shop owner at my gun shop. Down to earth, real and have pride in what they're doing. Once it's all finished and I shoot this baby I'll let you know my honest opinion but so far I see and feel quality.
How about a 14.7 or 14.5. 300blk. With a pin and weld it would be the shortest... Without going the pistol or SBR route. No one currently makes a 300blk in that length. Please save me the pain of chopping a 16" barrel. Awesome videos as always..
Should I change the name to all caps to reflect how Clint says it? I think I’ve got a BA/VG6/Aero part on all of my ARs except one... I might need to fix that. 🤔😉 Good stuff as always 😎🤘.

What is Clint’s favorite “do-all” 5.56 barrel length? Also, are MLOK handguards on their way to your complete uppers from your site 😃?
Do your barrels come pre-drilled for a pinned gas block?
The exception are geissele rails which already accommodate for suppressor with even length barrels (9.5 inch MK4 rail with 10" barrel for example). Would be nice to offer even length barrels as well.
JinkxSoldga Which is why the Geissele Black Friday Federal mk4 10inch handguard is on my way to my house right now! I paired it with a 11.3 barrel from BA which should be a perfect fit!
@@JS-.- The MK4 Federal is not normally available (to my knowledge). Nice score!! I did notice it on the website but couldn't tell what the difference was from the normal MK4. From the comment I suppose the length is the only difference?
I know this is an old video but could you make a 18” and 20” rifle length? I love my 16” ba but I need more.
I have a Australian Shepherd that spends late summer, smelling the pairs and at the point he feels they are ready, he will pick one every day, tell they are out of reach. He does the same with blackberries.
I went with the 10" 300blk over the 10.5 for a better fit with the handguard.

I get how the adjustable works, but how does the Bleed off system work?
I'm not sure if you guys have mentioned it already, some where in the comments, but why have you guys not dubbed into the .450BM or .458 socom stuff. I'm wanting to build a .458 and I couldn't think of a barrel I'd rather have on it than a BA barrel. I own a 20" bull in .308 win. It's phenomenal!

I had been wondering the same thing! Speaking of things I have been wondering about.... So I am planning on competing in a Run and Gun, which is basically a 5k Mud Run with guns. The rifle stations can very from CQB distances out to 500 yards. An accurate, lightweight barrel would be ideal. I say all that to ask, which of your barrels would recommend for accuracy, dependability in the elements and weight?
Once I started utilizing Hanson profile barrels, I never looked back. I think the 16 inch modern series Hanson barrel will do you just fine
daniel ayala Clint talked about the 17.7....which would be a cool barrel to build a rifle around. I could see where a shorter barrel would be handy in those conditions too though.

How long do 5.56 Hanson barrels last?
I am new to building AR's, & I have a question.
When shopping for a rifle or pistol barrel, what is the better choice of material? For example: Stainless steel versus chrome molly vanadium, etc.
And why?
Search youtube for Faxon Q&A. There are several incredible vids covering that topic. 4150 handles heat disapation better so you usually see 4150 on full auto barrels. However it is harder to machine and the rifling/lands and grooves are not as precise as stainless steel. I have also heard that SS maintains its acurracy longer but at a certain round count/point the accuracy is just gone. 4150 gradually dims in accuracy as the round count goes up but never really has a hard line of accuracy failure. SS is easier to machine and cut so lands/grooves are sharper and more precise. There are many other differences. I highly recommend you watch the Faxon Q&A

@@chrissewell1608 Soo many good choices out there. Faxon, and Ballistic Advantage and Aero Precision are the main players in my book. But thats just my opinion. FN and HK make FANTASTIC barrels but hard to find and or expensive... Overly so if you ask me but I certainly wouldnt be mad if I scored one or 2 :)

I bought a 17.7 and was wondering what effect does twist rate have on accuracy, and what ammo is best for certain twist rates and for use with your barrels? (if not brand specific at least weight and such)
I just ordered the 17.7" Hanson profile. How do you like yours and is it worth it?
@@Bryson-510 tbh I'm a pretty casual shooter so I haven't shot more than say 1000 rounds through it but with iron sights my groups are all under 2 inches the barrel is nice but I do regret not going with something shorter for easier home defense use, I know you for sure could get out pretty far with this barrel and with consistent accuracy though
I have a question about the 224 Valkyrie Barrels and gas block. I purchased the BA20” Fluted barrel with the pinned gas block, would there be any advantage for me in buying the Superlative Arms bleed off gas block or should I just stick with the low pro pinned gas block it came with?
I have your 13.7" Barrel... I am having issues finding the right handguard length for the seamless transition to the muzzle. What HG Size do you recommend?
Can I ship my (2) 18" spr profile barrels back and have them fluted? One is .223 Wylde, other is 6.5 Grendel.

LOVE BA Barrels. 14.5Wylde and a 9Blackout. Wish you made a 24" Valkyrie. I got one from another maker then you come out with a 22. I was heart broken. Still all my rigs have SA gas blocks and VG6 brakes.
