I love my 16" BA Logic upper with the Hanson profile barrel, it was my Christmas gift to myself this year and after finally trying it out it's my favorite upper. It feels lighter than a much shorter upper I have that actually weighs less because it has a different profile that has the weight out front, putting that weight back towards the chamber where it's needed and lightening it towards the muzzle makes such a huge difference since the weight is more centered rather than your support hand holding more of the weight. This upper quickly turned into my favorite and I married it to my lower with the best trigger and other parts, mounted my best LPVO on it and my best BCG the Geissele REBCG, and it's now my RECCE/SHTF/home defense rifle. I really love it a lot more than I expected to! Great job BA!
I ordered the 16" stainless BA Hanson premium series with pinned gas block a few days ago. I can't wait to try it on my new build 😬👍🏼👍🏼

Clint I purchased the BA Hanson .625 in .556 for the wife's LW rig. Running a VG6 epsilon and Magpul CTR. What weight buffer were you running on that setup?

Wow looks like almost no recoil or muzzle rise. Do you think this setup is smoother than a rifle length 20" AR?
I just purchased a 16” BA Hanson .625 to go with my Aero Precision builders set, but I have several install questions. First what kind of grease or lube should I use for the barrel to the reciever and the barrel nut to the reciever. It so confusing, because all of the different opinions. Second do you measure headspace with Failzero bcg, or should I buy a set and double check? What lube is recommended on the muzzle device and buffer tube / castle nut?
Any word on the AR-15? Couldn't find any information.
Can these barrels handle steel cased ammo on a regular basis?
I bought a 14 and 16 it's the best barrel profile ever but why not make a 18 and 20" rifle length gas in .556, .625 hanson? I would prefer those.
will the POI shift much as a normal pencil barrel? after a one mag i can see the groups start to open up.
