I love you guys. I've traveled quite a bit (Europe and the Middle East) and I have lived in Germany twice. I have recently developed a medical condition that limits my mobility, so my traveling days are over. Your videos help me to continue my traveling. Thanks so much!

I love it when you share your travel days and the challenges with figuring out ticket machines, train tickets, which bus is ours, etc. I feel your pain with foreign washing machines. You do such a good job of explaining the foods you eat. We've been enjoying watching your older videos while we're stuck at home during covid and can't travel. Please don't ever stop sharing your travels.

Another great video! My husband and I have been watching your RV/Clementine videos throughout the pandemic and are keeping up with all your new videos as they come out, but we are also working our way through all your videos from the very beginning. We watch several each night while we're having dinner. You guys are awesome! :) One suggestion (inspired by something Eric said in this video) would be that you have one video for each new country you visit where you share/summarize anything you learned about the culture that might be useful to any future travelers to that location, like tipping customs or useful phrases. Congrats on the huge milestone! It's so true that people are just people, the world over. Customs and traditions might be different, but basic needs and desires are universal. I'm so glad to be able to travel the world with you from the comfort of my jammies and home office.
Also the best thing about travel is that you can go somewhere once, then of you go back 10 years later it might be completely different. You two manage your site well and consistantly put up videos that are well thought out and edited. I will continue following you as long as you do this. I love the mix of travel, food and occasionally getting together with others.

one of my favourite things in paris was walking down the lanes next to the notre dame cathedral the houses with balconies over flowing with hanging flowers in the summer is just beautiful

It is and yet we still have them in the UK, I have them in my kitchen. But it's not hard to work out, turn on the hot tap for hot water and cold tap for cold water :P

I started following you two through your visits to Great Britain. I've seen so many more of your adventures and travels since but I was miffed that y'all didn't say airports were your most stressful experiences. The ONLY time I see real stress and unhappiness on your faces is when equipment was lost or left behind on a bus or when Allison lost her passport. I couldn't imagine myself in that situation! If you want to go to germany again I recommend you to go either to Hamburg or Frankfurt, beautiful cities that have way more to offer than munich of berlin especially Hamburg
I would love to see more of Germany! I've studied the German language for five years, as it's my heritage. I also have a cousin from Frankfurt who has shared photos of the area, and it is so beautiful! Especially Christmastime.

totally agree with your comments about Budapest! We came back from a central European vacation, where we were stunned at how easy, fun, and interesting Budapest was. Next time we go to Europe, we're skipping Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, etc, and heading straight for Budapest first, and then on into Eastern Europe from there. I hear great things about Romania, for instance. Can't wait for you guys to head there.

You guys do a great job of exploring the world, culture and food. I have been introduced to some great, fun vloggers through subscribing and following your channel. You American Apple pies also help to introduce a the world, people and cultures in. A very positive light to others who may also be from smaller states and cities that rarely get out of their norms. I am optimistic that you help make the world a better place on today’s climate in America stateside. Thank you ! Keep traveling and keep enjoying the experiences! I know that traveling when I was younger and had less health issues really helped me grow up and develop more empathy for the people of the world as well and hope to do more again maybe later in life. Congratulations, guys. I have just recently become more interested in the numbers. Up until now I have mostly been just looking at vlogs that I liked with the numbers just mostly just being there. Realizing that the numbers are your actual bread and butter does put the cumulative viewers to the head of the line. I have followed individuals with 5,000,000 followers. The million follower vlog does exist. There also seems to be a "trip point" when it seems that growth seems to happen faster and faster but I don't quite understand what that point might be. One of the things that I enjoy is getting to the post early enough to have the opportunity to have my comments actually seen. I think that I probably missed it this time. I enjoy the responses a lot. Thanks for that. Having discovered hostels in college I traveled extensively when I was younger. Working abroad is next to impossible or at least was prior to the internet. Phoning in the job was not practical. Service jobs go to the locals. Having a teaching degree was good, but it became more and more difficult and at the present and for the foreseeable future the demand for American Teachers had declined. This was apparent as I learned more about teaching abroad than I did in the states in school myself and teaching in systems that were constantly lowering standards in the North East. Far more effective systems presently exist in some of the countries that you visit. We have some catching up to do. As I grew older and held more conventional work I got conventional vacation time and much shorter trips. Half of my excitement is jealousy. I don't make travel suggestions mostly just I have found that a lot has changed. Approaching 70 rapidly I don't see myself hefting around a pack and still be able to afford my house. So you are traveling for me. I know that you do a number of colabs and I always follow the time on each site. After the calab I just gravitate back to tea. I find that you have both a talent for presentation but also are talent on cam as well. I'm not going to nit pick any of the things that make you, you. You are unique. Of course I like the food experiments. I like the adventures. I like the travel days. I love the foul ups and fails. You are effective teachers. We all can learn. I was just a little surprised that you didn't have the UK in an honorable mention position on the list. You kind of gave me the impression that it was a place that was special to you. The places that you are presently high on have been great. Your viewers actually travel with you and kind of enjoy sharing the experience. The logistics of getting the vlogs out amazes. These are the early days of some new forms of media. You are the developers of an exciting media. I hope that your numbers continue to grow. Travel while it is practical. Travel as long as it is fun. Travel as long as you can afford to. Travel until it is time not to travel. If it comes you will regretfully know. I gave it up to settle down and have a family. I do better without such ambitious goals. The plan always has it's own ideas anyway. The numbers are deserved. Sticking to the travel routine has to be a bear. Having to catch up on edits has to be a real challenge to remain engaged. Technical stuff is for me at least. The joy was always the completion of the project. Then I go crazy wanting to fine tune. It has to be fun. I wish you continued growth. I am glad to watch you share what you hav learned. Keep learning, there is so much for you to teach.

Traveling full time definitely has its ups and downs and trying to figure out UA-cam is a beast of its own, but we're loving this life more than anything else we've done. It's the perfect mix of excitement, hard work, creativity and dedication. We also love that we get to share everything we learn and see with all of you. And don't worry, the UK definitely has one of the softest spots with us...it's our home away from home and where we probably feel the most comfortable aside from the states 😊 Glad we're able to take you around the world and save your back from a heavy backpack 🙌

I was once in a rock festival crowd of 100,000 people. It was quite something, and I always think back to it when I want to visualise large numbers of people. You guys deserve to be very proud of your 100k achivement. Your films are consistantly interesting and entertaining. I started in Cornwall too, when I searched UA-cam for fish and chips. Been hooked ever since!

I really enjoy watching your videos to the various countries and sharing your experiences. When I was your age I would have been too afraid, even if I’d had the means, to travel to a foreign land. I was fortunate to travel to Italy in 2011 for nearly an entire month and I absolutely loved it. One day I hope to go back. Great Britain is also on my bucket list and your videos there will come in handy if I can ever make it happen. In the meantime I live vicariously through your videos. How do you handle all those Airports? As a first time traveler I found navigating the Airports and all those check-ins to be a most unpleasant experience. Congratulations on meeting your 100 K goal. That's so true about "people are people." I don't travel but I've learned a 2nd language and the thing that most struck me whilst doing so was how similar people were to the people in my own country. It's quite remarkable actually. It shows how closely related we all are. Getting insight into other cultures can be one of the most profound, eye-opening experiences a person can have.

When I briefly lived in Switzerland, I was frequently complimented on how I did my best to adjust to their culture (not that I was perfect at that). I felt, and still feel, that if you are a visitor, you should respect the local mores (and not be the archtypical American boor). I was so glad to hear you advocate the same approach. We definitely don't think a lot of people mean to be the classic annoying traveler, they just get caught up in comparing customs and want people to know how "weird" and new everything is to them. It stems from an eye-opening, usually good space, but just comes out badly. 🙈 Glad you're enjoying traveling along with us :)

You American Apple pies also help to introduce a the world, people and cultures in. A very positive light to others who may also be from smaller states and cities that rarely get out of their norms. I am optimistic that you help make the world a better place on today’s climate in America stateside. Thank you ! Keep traveling and keep enjoying the experiences! I know that traveling when I was younger and had less health issues really helped me grow up and develop more empathy for the people of the world as well and hope to do more again maybe later in life. Congratulations, guys. I have just recently become more interested in the numbers. Up until now I have mostly been just looking at vlogs that I liked with the numbers just mostly just being there. Realizing that the numbers are your actual bread and butter does put the cumulative viewers to the head of the line. I have followed individuals with 5,000,000 followers. The million follower vlog does exist. There also seems to be a "trip point" when it seems that growth seems to happen faster and faster but I don't quite understand what that point might be. One of the things that I enjoy is getting to the post early enough to have the opportunity to have my comments actually seen. I think that I probably missed it this time. I enjoy the responses a lot. Thanks for that.
Having discovered hostels in college I traveled extensively when I was younger. Working abroad is next to impossible or at least was prior to the internet. Phoning in the job was not practical. Service jobs go to the locals. Having a teaching degree was good, but it became more and more difficult and at the present and for the foreseeable future the demand for American Teachers had declined. This was apparent as I learned more about teaching abroad than I did in the states in school myself and teaching in systems that were constantly lowering standards in the North East. Far more effective systems presently exist in some of the countries that you visit. We have some catching up to do. As I grew older and held more conventional work I got conventional vacation time and much shorter trips. Half of my excitement is jealousy. I don't make travel suggestions mostly just I have found that a lot has changed.
Approaching 70 rapidly I don't see myself hefting around a pack and still be able to afford my house. So you are traveling for me. I know that you do a number of colabs and I always follow the time on each site. After the calab I just gravitate back to tea. I find that you have both a talent for presentation but also are talent on cam as well. I'm not going to nit pick any of the things that make you, you. You are unique.
Of course I like the food experiments. I like the adventures. I like the travel days. I love the foul ups and fails. You are effective teachers. We all can learn. I was just a little surprised that you didn't have the UK in an honorable mention position on the list. You kind of gave me the impression that it was a place that was special to you. The places that you are presently high on have been great. Your viewers actually travel with you and kind of enjoy sharing the experience. The logistics of getting the vlogs out amazes. These are the early days of some new forms of media. You are the developers of an exciting media. I hope that your numbers continue to grow. Travel while it is practical. Travel as long as it is fun. Travel as long as you can afford to. Travel until it is time not to travel. If it comes you will regretfully know. I gave it up to settle down and have a family. I do better without such ambitious goals. The plan always has it's own ideas anyway.
The numbers are deserved. Sticking to the travel routine has to be a bear. Having to catch up on edits has to be a real challenge to remain engaged. Technical stuff is for me at least. The joy was always the completion of the project. Then I go crazy wanting to fine tune.
It has to be fun. I wish you continued growth. I am glad to watch you share what you hav learned. Keep learning, there is so much for you to teach.

Traveling full time definitely has its ups and downs and trying to figure out UA-cam is a beast of its own, but we're loving this life more than anything else we've done. It's the perfect mix of excitement, hard work, creativity and dedication. We also love that we get to share everything we learn and see with all of you. And don't worry, the UK definitely has one of the softest spots with us...it's our home away from home and where we probably feel the most comfortable aside from the states 😊 Glad we're able to take you around the world and save your back from a heavy backpack 🙌

I was once in a rock festival crowd of 100,000 people. It was quite something, and I always think back to it when I want to visualise large numbers of people. You guys deserve to be very proud of your 100k achivement. Your films are consistantly interesting and entertaining. I started in Cornwall too, when I searched UA-cam for fish and chips. Been hooked ever since!

I really enjoy watching your videos to the various countries and sharing your experiences. When I was your age I would have been too afraid, even if I’d had the means, to travel to a foreign land. I was fortunate to travel to Italy in 2011 for nearly an entire month and I absolutely loved it. One day I hope to go back. Great Britain is also on my bucket list and your videos there will come in handy if I can ever make it happen. In the meantime I live vicariously through your videos.
How do you handle all those Airports? As a first time traveler I found navigating the Airports and all those check-ins to be a most unpleasant experience.

That's so true about "people are people." I don't travel but I've learned a 2nd language and the thing that most struck me whilst doing so was how similar people were to the people in my own country. It's quite remarkable actually. It shows how closely related we all are. Getting insight into other cultures can be one of the most profound, eye-opening experiences a person can have.

I loved your statements about "you are in their country, not your country." When I briefly lived in Switzerland, I was frequently complimented on how I did my best to adjust to their culture (not that I was perfect at that). I felt, and still feel, that if you are a visitor, you should respect the local mores (and not be the archtypical American boor). I was so glad to hear you advocate the same approach. We definitely don't think a lot of people mean to be the classic annoying traveler, they just get caught up in comparing customs and want people to know how "weird" and new everything is to them. It stems from an eye-opening, usually good space, but just comes out badly. 🙈 Glad you're enjoying traveling along with us :)

My fondest wish is to visit all 50 states, and at age 67, time's ticking away! However, I've managed about 37 of them, so I'm making progress! That would be my question to you...have you visited all 50 states? Maybe we will see each other on the road some day.
