Confirming the method works for a 2016 Toyota RAV4! Though my door locks did not power cycle. But I pressed the lock and unlock buttons as mentioned and it worked! Thanks a bunch!

Open the door, twice, insert key twice, repeat 12 times, run up and down the street till you can't anymore, throw the new key at the car....5 times, (if not broken) push the trunk release 8 times, till the hood opens, put the key in the ign., see if the security lite is out. If not, try a locksmith. :O

It works on my Toyota avanza 2016 model I followed the whole process but at the end it was different I push the lock and unlocked button together but the cycle I alternately lock and unlock twice and repeat until it locks. But really thank you for this. God bless you brother

@@olopatadine1052 a complete replicate functioning remote. But just so I’m not confusing definition, transponder I’m referring to the remote that the key is attached on. Enabling remote lock/unlock/alarm
@@olopatadine1052 simple answer yes 😂 the RFID chip on the duplicate needs to match the correct one that’s printed on the side of the original key, I think it’s “G” in mine for example.
Worked on my 2013 Corolla LE. Got my key from Amazon and saved over $200. Note: this procedure is to program your key fob tolock and unlocking doors not to start your engine. You will need a programmer for that.
WOW! This worked and I didnt need one of those modules that plug into the OBDII port. BTW my car , 2011 Corolla, cycled twice after the procedure and it STILL worked on my new key fobs. Fully programmed and good to go! Thank so much!

It DID unlock/lock and open the trunk but DID NOT start the car. Looks I have to get the OBD2/usb device connector to complete the program to start the car.
@ All Cars Brotherhood FYI I found a home remedy for repairing a worn out Toyota remote exactly as the one the video creator is programing in this video. If you have replaced the battery but the the remote is old and only working intermittently. Open the plastic case as if you are replacing the battery and place a $ .10 dime coin between the installed battery and the back plastic cover. You will have to squeeze the black plastic casing very hard to close the case but the pressure the dime creates should fix the problem. This fix in only good for a worn out remote resembling the one shown in this video. I fixed both my worn out remotes in this manor and they have been working great for at least two weeks so far. The price of a new remote from my local Toyota dealership, exactly as shown in this video is $ 180.00 US Dollars.

My moms key has been dead for 7 years. Whenever she comes to visit, it always comes up, and I always tell her to get it fixed. I even offered to pay for it. Finally i was able to convince her to call a dealership and they qouted $10 to replace the battery, but $300 to reprogram if it doesnt sync. I changed the battery myself, then was able to reprogam it in about 10min cause i found this video quick

Yes sir. That's the only way it can ever be done without a computer program ran on the vehicle. Notice the lit Ring around the ignition tumbler, when it lights up as key enters that's the synced programed key. Even with a duplicate cut key has to be programmed. You can say it's like today's Bluetooth pairing, only one per device😁💯😎✌️🇺🇲.

How can you program “the wrong fob” just got a 2013 tc and got only one fob from the seller. I tried this technique but it cycled twice after holding down the lock and unlock button and pressing the lock button after.

Australian 2015 yarris. Put key to passenger door. Unlock-lock about 8 times. Take it out. That's it. It worked. I almost gave up. Cheers.

Yeah, the immobilizer chip is separate. Programming that's a bit more complicated.
I tried this a bunch of times on my 2012 tundra limited, and the locks never engage after doing all the steps :(. Any tips?
