I live in the country but love decorating the 50 foot pine at the community center with Christmas lights. I go up in the crane bucket and putthe lights up every year. In a couple of years I will be 70 so hopefully I will be able to keep doing it for a bit longer.
Snow, snow, snow, we always get tons of snow. Downtown is always so pretty, lots of lights. Even the ammunition plant lights up their silos for the holidays. Along with all the deer that they feed during the Winter. Properly 5-6 does and some really big Bucks. No hunting allowed ! Blessings to all. Claudia
Always enjoy your flosstubes. Growing up in SD and living in Nebraska, I know snow. Our little town does Christmas right❤ We have a huge donated tree in the middle of Main Street. Our elementary students design and place ornaments on tree with the city workers. Our annual Tannanbaum festival includes electing our own Grinch and Grinchette. We have Carol singing, tree lighting, trolley rides and Cocoa drinking.
I live in Missouri where we get more snow than I care to see. I enjoy small town living where the pace is slower, and I especially enjoy the Christmas house tour. It's always so much fun to see how others decorate. Your videos are always so full of inspiration!
We don’t often get snow here in the Dallas area, but I really love to see snow falling softly on a wintry day. It makes me feel extra cozy inside with my coffee and my stitching. Thanks so much for sharing your stitching and beautiful stitchy boxes. Love your monthly Flosstubes. Best, Carol in TX
Your flosstubes are always so enjoyable! Thank you, thank you, thank you for remembering Penny and showing her amazing works!! I miss sitting on her couch and stitching with all the ladies. Fun things in my town… there’s always SNOW!😉
I love your "JOY" releases. Really creative. You are so generous with your creativity. Thanks for all of this. You embody the holiday spirit with your enthusiasm.
I love our winter fest with campfires, Santa, skating rink, animals, wagon ride, tree lighting and more. It is so Cold here. I loved this video so much Thank you. .
Thanks for another great video Sheri. I always look forward to them and always appreciate everything that you share with us. I miss living in a small town. There were so many more things to appreciate in my opinion. We live in Dallas now and I do appreciate the warmer weather. No snow and ice to deal with. Only on occasion do I miss the snow! 🤶🏻🎅🏻🎄💕
I do love winter here on the Olympic Peninsula in WA. It will snow in the higher elevations throughout the winter but here at sea level, we may get one or two days of it. A few years ago, we experienced our first white Christmas. What a gift that was for a born and raised northern CA gal! Another fabulous video.
I am so glad to go south for the winter and miss the snow of Michigan. I always learn so much from you. Even though we aren't there for it, we have Christmas in the Park. Santa and Mrs. Claus come each year for the lighting of the Christmas tree in the park and the lighting of our walking path on the lake.
I always enjoy your FlossTubes so much! You just inspire me! I babysat my grandson tonight and what a pleasant surprise to drive home late at night and see some snow falling... 🎄🎅🦌☃ I live in a city right along the Mississippi River and it looks so beautiful with the snow and some areas of open water and lots of eagles!
My favorite thing about winter is drinking hot chocolate and watching it snow outside. I love seeing all the beautiful projects you've finished. All your pillows look so good!
I love driving around seeing the neighborhood lights. Every time we are out at night we take a different route home. The patterns you design are really nice. I enjoyed seeing all your stitching as well as all the Christmas charts. Thank you for your time. MERRY CHRISTMAS! 🎄🎀🎄🎀🎄
I love that you showed Shannon and Erin's charts and are carrying them - they are fellow Canadians and I love to support them - I believe they are sisters-in-law - Erin is married to Shannon's brother and boy they are sure talented :) I am so loving your Advent Calendar - Thank you
I always love your flosstubes. Such a joy to watch. I live near St. Charles, MO and what I love most about the old town is their weekends of Christmases past. It's wonderful with the Santa parade, the singers, angels, and carriages. It's amazing. I wish you and your family a wonderful holiday! snow
We rarely get measurable snow I Alabama but when we do everyone rushes to take pictures of their houses before the neighborhood kids run around and roll yards to make snowballs! Love your floss tube because of such a variety of content!
I love that my Florida town has a Christmas lighted boat parade throughout the chain of lakes that run through our city. I'm happy I get to be stitching in the sunshine streaming in my windows, rather than looking at snow falling. Happy holidays!
We live in a touristy town. It gets pretty busy in summer but I love it in winter because things slow down. We get one or two SNOW storms, but it doesn’t stick around long. ❄️
Loved seeing your Christmas parade! So many designs that I would love to stitch. One of the best things about our neighborhood is how everyone decorates for Christmas. People come from all over to drive or walk up and down the streets. It’s lots of fun! The only thing missing is real snow!
I love, love, love your green Christmas stitchy box and oh, that Tidings of Comfort and Joy!!! What I super love is your Christmas Garden with brighter colors and the size (that is so outstanding!!!) Our small (population 498) town has an amazing 4th of July fireworks 🎇 display! Now, winter bonuses, I think I'd say we don't overdo the snow thing! We get a few inches a few times each winter...just enough to enjoy the beauty but usually not enough to be too much of a hardship!!! I'm grateful for that!!!
Thank you , Shari, I so enjoyed your video. The snow patterns are so beautiful, I can’t decide which one to do first. I lived in the Midwest for many years and I’m now in SC where I don’t miss the snow at all. Enjoy the season and time with family!
Hi, Sheri! I started this new floss tube over four times, and just today I sat down to watch the entire episode! I loved seeing all of your Christmas pieces... so beautiful. My favorite thing about living here is that Colorado is my birthplace and all of my childhood, college, wedding, and raising my daughters memories are here. I love the views of the Rockies and the snow. Winter is my favorite season. Viewing the Old Town lights while drinking homemade hot cocoa with snow swirling around is my idea of a perfect winter evening. Thank you so much for the inspiration you bring to all of us.
Hello from Tennessee! It was lovely to watch your flosstube while stitching today. Thank you for sharing your time with us all. We are " snow " lucky to have you! 😉 In East Tennessee we have such nice winter weather. The Great Smokey Mountains are just an hour away and the holiday lights are so pretty in Gatlinburg.
Beautiful work today! As a Minnesota native in GA, we know there won't be any snow this Christmas. But I can dream! Thanks for sharing everything Christmas!
I am now inspired to make a stitchy box for one of my stitchy friends. Yay! I also live in Colorado and I too, love the snow but I also love the fall when the leaves turn. There are so many beautiful bright yellows and reds and if I'm able to get into the mountains before the snow falls....oh my, I don't think i've seen anything quite so beautiful!
I’ve become used to very little snow, but it’s nice to visit Colorado for a little taste now and again. Love love love those themed sewing boxes! I may need to make one that showcases my old house and tiny little community. Last night we just had our community LoveFeast celebration. It’s based on a Moravian tradition and my favorite part is the lighting each others candles while you pray for that neighbor and listening to our bell choir. Pure magic! Merry Christmas everybody!
The festival of trees benefits Primary Children's Hospital. There are hundreds of trees and wreaths that are decorated by volunteers and auctioned off to benefit the hospital It's a great way to begin the holiday season. Snow!
We have fresh snow in our mountains. Yippee!! Merry Christmas. I love the small town happenings here. We had a holiday parade last night and the entire town shows up and it ends at the tree lighting with singing. So joyful.
Our little town in Indiana is special. I enjoy going to most crafts sales. There is many creative people and I enjoy supporting their work. Starting December 1st the local park sponsor a Christmas lights event for businesses, schools or charity organizations set their own lighting corner. It's beautiful. There is a Santa Claus house for pictures as well. I look forward to these events every year.
What a wonderful video. I know this must take so much time and effort to prepare. I truly appreciate you! Let your work continue to snow blessings on you! I love my Colorado mountain town because there are so many outdoor activities. I love the sun between the snowstorms too!
I'm from the Midwest, and have been living in Florida now for a while. I do miss the snow, but I sure don't miss the cold!! I love that I don't have to bundle up in the winter too take the pup out!
My first time watching and it was a delightful hour. I wish we had snow in So. Cal. but none here. It’s fun to see the new cross patterns that look like snowy scenes. I do want to add my favorite scenes of Christmas in my town are the 5foot nutcrackers on each corner and tucked into alcoves and the beautiful Christmas tree at city hall.
We usually have snow around this time of year, however, it has been mostly rain now. Last year, we had a blizzard around Christmas and was stuck at home. Love your floss tubes! 💕
So much information and inspiration in your videos !! Thank you for taking the time it requires to do these videos. No SNOW yet in upstate New York. There are small towns and cities around us who have fun activities during the long winter months. At this point in life we are observers!! Merry Christmas!!!!
Snow is so pretty to see in winter. I love the Festival of Lights which features The 12 Days of Christmas in huge displays as you drive through the area.
Snow, Snow Snow…. Here in MN where we live we don’t have any snow as of yet. But when it comes it will be around for months! I miss CO Winters ~ we lived in Canon City for 3 years and experienced just what you described; snow, melting and lots of sunshine! My favorite kind of winter!! Merry Christmas 🎄
Thank you for sharing your time and creative gifts with us. I learn something new with every one of your videos. I found your color theory video particularly impactful. It's made my attempts at substituting floss much more successful. I adore snow. In fact, when we retire, we'd love to move to the New England area. I know many folks go south to the Carolinas or Florida, but snow is my jam. ☃
We have no snow on NH, but it will come. Thanks for another great video. For the last few weeks I have been binge watching your videos while I stitch. Thanks for keeping me company and the inspiration.
Here in Bristol in the UK we get a sprinkling of snow perhaps once a year. I love it as it feels like the world is holding its breath for just a moment. All silent and white. It seldom lasts more than a day or so but causes absolute chaos as everything grinds to a halt. Our town puts on a lovely evening Christmas fair at the beginning of December to mark the switching on of the Christmas lights. This year was a cold and frosty so just had to keep warm with mulled wine and mince pies. Delicious! Thank you for a lovely podcast. Your projects and finishes are beautiful.
Thank you for showing all the wonderful Christmas pieces…..there just seems not to be enough hours in the day to do all one wants to do! I live in a suburb of Phoenix where there is no SNOW but we have wonderful beautiful winter weather and lots of great Christmas light displays.
Loved the Christmas parade. So many beautiful patterns. I really enjoy driving around Gurnee and Grayslake this time of year to see all of the lights , displays and decorations. It is magical . I do enjoy the snow but it does not usually melt as fast as I would like it to. Have a wonderful Christmas.
I jumped out of my chair when I saw your Hu bars! My daughter-in-law works for them and she lives in Littleton south of you. I'm in North Carolina so I don't get to see too much snow.
Your videos are always so fun and informative. The kits/stitch boxes you made are adorable. We always like going to see A Christmas Carol at the Buelle, or the Nutcracker at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. It’s not Christmas without one or both! And maybe some snow ❄️ Have a wonderful Christmas and holiday season. I always learn something from your flosstubes and am thankful for you and your shop ❤
I bought before I watched to the end. Oh well, I will make another trip to your online store after I get all these made. We rarely see snow here in Texas so all my Illinois relatives come here to scape the snow. I enjoy all the craft shows and Christmas events that we have in the winter/Christmas time.
Thank you for another wonderful video filled with so much stitching inspiration, Sheri! We haven’t had very much snow in SE Michigan so far this season, but I know it’s coming!❄️❄️❄️
My town is at sea level. We don't usually get a lot of snow, but it was snowing as I watched your Floss Tube! Our town is beautiful during Christmas. Several years ago a glass artist in town started to make giant figures for various businesses for the holidays. They are made of iron rebar which is then covered with lights or lighted tubing. There are now 65 giants ( 8-10 feet tall) and everybody drives around town trying to find them all. The chamber of commerce prints a Holiday brochure with a map of the giants and with printed songs for the annual Christmas sing to start off the season. Have a Joyous Christmas!
I was in Colorado over Thanksgiving and enjoyed how fast the snow disappeared. Didn't make it to the store, but will on my next visit. Enjoy your videos. Please keep up the good work.
We are lucky here in south west Ohio that we do not get a lot of snow! I love the ice skating rinks (fake ice) that a business sets up in the winter and seeing families enjoying their time together skating!
Let it SNOW ❤❄️☃️ I love it but here in Texas we only get a few days of it a year. Not sure how I would feel about living in it all winter 😊 I always get so much inspiration watching you!
Snow is expected tonight in the Appalachian Mountains of NC. Some of the ski slopes are already open. I love to watch the snow fall, as it is so peaceful and pretty.
Hi Sheri. Another year come and gone without any snow where I live. What a creative, organized gal you are. So many great projects/ideas! You are so productive.
I am not looking forward for the snow but I love the bag!!!! I love all your finishes ! Wow! And the boxes! ❤❤❤ I am definitely going to stitch the little tint for my stitchy friends ! ❤❤
Livingston, Montana has an annual Christmas tree lighting which is charming, all the big downtown trees are lit up in gold and one perfectly shaped tree is lit up with all sorts of beautiful colors. It is a fun event! And it is starting to snow right now!
Around Christmas one thing I love about my town, which is a small town in Arkansas, is the lighting of the Courthouse. It’s it oldest operating courthouse west of the Mississippi. It’s kinda like being at a Hallmark movie tree lighting and so beautiful when they flip the switch
I really enjoy your Flosstube!! I live on the Southern Oregon Coast so we don't get much snow but when I lived in Colorado Springs, we got lots of snow, as you know!! Thank you for all you put into your videos!!
So good to see you!! Thank you for spending a day with me🙂 Took me a while to see the whole thing today, I'm trying to pull it all together. The designers you showed are great, thanks for mentioning them so I can go to my LNS and get them. Here's a story about a place I lived years ago. In this small town in New Hampshire, Danville, my father was in the Volunteer Fire Dept. At Christmas time he would dress up as Santa Claus and be in the Fire Department Christmas Parade. So much fun and wonderful memories for me. Thank you for asking for a special thing about our town. I loved living there. I no longer live there, but the memories will always be with me. Blessings be with you and your family. Thanks for all you do for us cross stitchers!
I live in a place where we get a lot of snow and where it hangs on, so dirty snow is definitely a part of the landscape (along with lots of gray skies). There's nothing like a sunny winter day, though, with the bright white snow. Good winter experience--fireworks on New Year's Eve over the scenic creekbank. Have a merry Christmas!
I love our Christmas Eve celebration at church which many many people from our surrounding area attend. Our daughter lives in Colorado, and I was quite surprised to learn of your lovely winter weather! We usually have snow here where I live. Love it!
Great salesman. I just spent 230.00$!!! Your story about your friend in Wyoming just broke my heart 😢. My husband passed away in 2021 from Covid. I pray that all of her beautiful pieces went to good homes. I pray for her family. I know how hard that is to part with personal items
I loved seeing all of your beautiful finishes and your fun boxes! You have such a wonderful imagination! What a fun project to do on a snow day! Thank you for sharing with us!
I love all those boxes you showed. I'm just not talented enough to do one on my own. I love snow and wished we were getting snow instead of the rain. Happy stitching! 🌼🌼🌼
I live in the country but love decorating the 50 foot pine at the community center with Christmas lights. I go up in the crane bucket and putthe lights up every year. In a couple of years I will be 70 so hopefully I will be able to keep doing it for a bit longer.

Blessings to all. Claudia
I love Snow, when I can sit, stitch, and watch it fall! I always love your videos!❤️🪡
What a great treat to watch this morning while I am stitching and the snow is falling outside!
Thank you for the ideas for the boxes and showing those and all the other ways to finish them. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
I love how you incorporated other crafting in with your cross stitching. I love doing alot of other crafts too. Snow ❄️🌨️
I think I would like living in your town at Christmas time!
I live in Missouri where we get more snow than I care to see. I enjoy small town living where the pace is slower, and I especially enjoy the Christmas house tour. It's always so much fun to see how others decorate. Your videos are always so full of inspiration!
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!! I love snow!!
Best,
Carol in TX
Snow days are the best! Not just for students, but because I’m a teacher! 🤭
Your flosstubes are always so enjoyable! Thank you, thank you, thank you for remembering Penny and showing her amazing works!! I miss sitting on her couch and stitching with all the ladies. Fun things in my town… there’s always SNOW!😉
Penny was a beautiful stitcher. I'm so glad I had these two special pieces that she stitched!
I love your "JOY" releases. Really creative. You are so generous with your creativity. Thanks for all of this. You embody the holiday spirit with your enthusiasm.
Thank you so much!
I love snow and snowmen - especially looking at it from the inside ❤
I love our winter fest with campfires, Santa, skating rink, animals, wagon ride, tree lighting and more. It is so Cold here. I loved this video so much Thank you. .
Thanks for watching, Anne!

I’ve never seen snow, but I love the snowy cross stitch patterns that are available at Christmas time ❄️
Right now as I’m watching you I’m watching the snow outside.
My favorite thing about winter is drinking hot chocolate and watching it snow outside. I love seeing all the beautiful projects you've finished. All your pillows look so good!
Thank you, Cheryl!
We have received over 20 inches of snow this week! Wowser! It’s so beautiful…until about February 1😀❄️🎅🏼⛄️🎄
So appreciate how You enable us to make the changes to designers work……we have no Snow in Olympia…..one year it fell on Christmas Eve…..
That must have been a magical Christmas Eve!
I love driving around seeing the neighborhood lights. Every time we are out at night we take a different route home. The patterns you design are really nice. I enjoyed seeing all your stitching as well as all the Christmas charts. Thank you for your time. MERRY CHRISTMAS! 🎄🎀🎄🎀🎄
Thank you, Donna!
I love to see the SNOW covering everything like a soft marshmallow blanket. Your Christmas framed pieces are stunning!
We aren't expecting snow in Florida this year!
What a wonderful video! Thank you so much for sharing
I love that you showed Shannon and Erin's charts and are carrying them - they are fellow Canadians and I love to support them - I believe they are sisters-in-law - Erin is married to Shannon's brother and boy they are sure talented :) I am so loving your Advent Calendar - Thank you
Oh - sisters in law! That's fun. They are both wonderful designers!
Sheri…I’m “snow” in awe of you and your talent. Thank you for sharing with all us in our cross stitch community.
Thank you, Judy!
I love that we hold a Christmas parade!
I love snow and my favorite holiday decor theme is snowmen. ☃️

I loved your flosstube today. Those silhouettes patterns are killer. Thanks Sherry.
When it is a snow day, it is a stitch day.
We don’t get a lot of SNOW right down on the valley floor (Willamette Valley, Oregon) so when we do, it’s magical.
We have no snow on NH, but it will come. Thanks for another great video. For the last few weeks I have been binge watching your videos while I stitch. Thanks for keeping me company and the inspiration.

Ohhh - I am sure she gets an unlimited supply. I would work there just for that!!
I love the snow as long as I’m inside and don’t have to drive. I don’t get snow in central California. Great video today as always.❤
I love your “Words for Home Joy” - so pretty!!! Love your flosstubes!!
Thank you, Carol!
That sounds so fun! 65 giants and more each year. What a fun tradition!
I love winter because I love snow!
I love snow. However in NC, it’s hit or miss. Thank you again for another wonderful floss tube.
Thanks for watching, Lynette!
Hi Sheri. Another year come and gone without any snow where I live. What a creative, organized gal you are. So many great projects/ideas! You are so productive.
Thank you, Cindy! I just love stitching, so I do it a LOT! 🙂
I love to watch it snow, but I don't like to shovel it. Thank you for all the enabling 😁
I'm so sorry about your husband, Linda. Those Covid years were brutal, and I have several friends who lost parents, too. Sending you hugs.
Your voice is so relaxing to listen to and I love snow.
You're so sweet - thank you for watching!
I loved seeing all of your beautiful finishes and your fun boxes! You have such a wonderful imagination! What a fun project to do on a snow day! Thank you for sharing with us!
Thanks so much for watching!
I love all those boxes you showed. I'm just not talented enough to do one on my own. I love snow and wished we were getting snow instead of the rain. Happy stitching! 🌼🌼🌼
I love all your stitchy boxes! In South Louisiana we get snow every 5-10 years. 😳❄️☃️
