I love our winter fest with campfires, Santa, skating rink, animals, wagon ride, tree lighting and more. It is so Cold here. I loved this video so much Thank you. .
Snow, snow, snow, we always get tons of snow. Downtown is always so pretty, lots of lights. Even the ammunition plant lights up their silos for the holidays. Along with all the deer that they feed during the Winter. Properly 5-6 does and some really big Bucks. No hunting allowed ! Blessings to all. Claudia

I live in the country but love decorating the 50 foot pine at the community center with Christmas lights. I go up in the crane bucket and putthe lights up every year. In a couple of years I will be 70 so hopefully I will be able to keep doing it for a bit longer.
I love that my Florida town has a Christmas lighted boat parade throughout the chain of lakes that run through our city. I'm happy I get to be stitching in the sunshine streaming in my windows, rather than looking at snow falling. Happy holidays!

I’ve become used to very little snow, but it’s nice to visit Colorado for a little taste now and again. Love love love those themed sewing boxes! I may need to make one that showcases my old house and tiny little community. Last night we just had our community LoveFeast celebration. It’s based on a Moravian tradition and my favorite part is the lighting each others candles while you pray for that neighbor and listening to our bell choir. Pure magic! Merry Christmas everybody!

We have fresh snow in our mountains. Yippee!! Merry Christmas. I love the small town happenings here. We had a holiday parade last night and the entire town shows up and it ends at the tree lighting with singing. So joyful.
I live in Missouri where we get more snow than I care to see. I enjoy small town living where the pace is slower, and I especially enjoy the Christmas house tour. It's always so much fun to see how others decorate. Your videos are always so full of inspiration!
Our little town in Indiana is special. I enjoy going to most crafts sales. There is many creative people and I enjoy supporting their work. Starting December 1st the local park sponsor a Christmas lights event for businesses, schools or charity organizations set their own lighting corner. It's beautiful. There is a Santa Claus house for pictures as well. I look forward to these events every year.
I am now inspired to make a stitchy box for one of my stitchy friends. Yay! I also live in Colorado and I too, love the snow but I also love the fall when the leaves turn. There are so many beautiful bright yellows and reds and if I'm able to get into the mountains before the snow falls....oh my, I don't think i've seen anything quite so beautiful!
Always enjoy your flosstubes. Growing up in SD and living in Nebraska, I know snow. Our little town does Christmas right❤ We have a huge donated tree in the middle of Main Street. Our elementary students design and place ornaments on tree with the city workers. Our annual Tannanbaum festival includes electing our own Grinch and Grinchette. We have Carol singing, tree lighting, trolley rides and Cocoa drinking.

I do love winter here on the Olympic Peninsula in WA. It will snow in the higher elevations throughout the winter but here at sea level, we may get one or two days of it. A few years ago, we experienced our first white Christmas. What a gift that was for a born and raised northern CA gal! Another fabulous video.
The festival of trees benefits Primary Children's Hospital. There are hundreds of trees and wreaths that are decorated by volunteers and auctioned off to benefit the hospital It's a great way to begin the holiday season. Snow!
Hi, Sheri! I started this new floss tube over four times, and just today I sat down to watch the entire episode! I loved seeing all of your Christmas pieces... so beautiful. My favorite thing about living here is that Colorado is my birthplace and all of my childhood, college, wedding, and raising my daughters memories are here. I love the views of the Rockies and the snow. Winter is my favorite season. Viewing the Old Town lights while drinking homemade hot cocoa with snow swirling around is my idea of a perfect winter evening. Thank you so much for the inspiration you bring to all of us.
I am so glad to go south for the winter and miss the snow of Michigan. I always learn so much from you. Even though we aren't there for it, we have Christmas in the Park. Santa and Mrs. Claus come each year for the lighting of the Christmas tree in the park and the lighting of our walking path on the lake.
Snow is so pretty to see in winter. I love the Festival of Lights which features The 12 Days of Christmas in huge displays as you drive through the area.
I live not far from Bethlehem in Pennsylvania, also known as Christmas City, as a matter fact, my daughter and her family live there, so I’m there a lot. I love their historic tour and also their Luminaria Night where the neighborhoods line their streets with white bags illuminated by votive candles, and also tours of older Victorian homes decorated for Christmas. It’s a great city!
My first time watching and it was a delightful hour. I wish we had snow in So. Cal. but none here. It’s fun to see the new cross patterns that look like snowy scenes. I do want to add my favorite scenes of Christmas in my town are the 5foot nutcrackers on each corner and tucked into alcoves and the beautiful Christmas tree at city hall.

We live in a touristy town. It gets pretty busy in summer but I love it in winter because things slow down. We get one or two SNOW storms, but it doesn’t stick around long. ❄️
We rarely get measurable snow I Alabama but when we do everyone rushes to take pictures of their houses before the neighborhood kids run around and roll yards to make snowballs! Love your floss tube because of such a variety of content!

Loved seeing your Christmas parade! So many designs that I would love to stitch. One of the best things about our neighborhood is how everyone decorates for Christmas. People come from all over to drive or walk up and down the streets. It’s lots of fun! The only thing missing is real snow!

When I was younger, my grandma and grandpa had this humongous hill. Every winter, when it was covered with snow, we would pull our sleds to the hill and away we would go, down, down, down the hill. Oh what memories........ I truly enjoy your flosstubes. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Here in Bristol in the UK we get a sprinkling of snow perhaps once a year. I love it as it feels like the world is holding its breath for just a moment. All silent and white. It seldom lasts more than a day or so but causes absolute chaos as everything grinds to a halt. Our town puts on a lovely evening Christmas fair at the beginning of December to mark the switching on of the Christmas lights. This year was a cold and frosty so just had to keep warm with mulled wine and mince pies. Delicious! Thank you for a lovely podcast. Your projects and finishes are beautiful.

There are small towns and cities around us who have fun activities during the long winter months. At this point in life we are observers!! Merry Christmas!!!!
So good to see you again Sheri, I always enjoy watching and seeing all the things! In my hometown, we have a NASCAR track, Bristol Motor Speedway that is decorated with thousands of Christmas lights, and decorations; you can even drive your car on the banked oval track and meander through the entire property, then come back to the infield and enjoy Hot Cocoa and Christmas Music. Downtown on our main street, there is a live reenactment of Mary & Joseph looking for a room as they travel through Bethlehem. The streets are filled with folks carrying lighted candles to help them along their way. After their journey, everyone is served hot drinks & cookies and all the shops are open for late shoppers. There is also a community Christmas tree lighting with church choirs and citizens singing Christmas Carols for an entire evening. Snow is expected tonight in the Appalachian Mountains of NC. Some of the ski slopes are already open. I love to watch the snow fall, as it is so peaceful and pretty.
Really enjoyed your video today with all the helpful tips and beautiful finishes. I live in the South and wish we would have one good snow, not just ice or rain. I love my town's Dicken's of a Christmas evening where the symphony plays, they light the town tree, there are carriage rides, hot cocoa or cider, man-made snow (since hardly any snow here), shops are open, there are strolling musicians, hand bell ringers, the local high schools chorus, orchestra, and actors in costumes for us all to enjoy. And my church does a live nativity that night.
I live close to St Augustine, Fl which has an amazing lights display. The whole town is lit up. It is beautiful, if anyone is traveling to the area I highly recommend it! We don’t get snow but a few towns and shopping areas nearby have fake snow falling, which is fun!

In this small town in New Hampshire, Danville, my father was in the Volunteer Fire Dept. At Christmas time he would dress up as Santa Claus and be in the Fire Department Christmas Parade. So much fun and wonderful memories for me. Thank you for asking for a special thing about our town. I loved living there. I no longer live there, but the memories will always be with me. My town is at sea level. We don't usually get a lot of snow, but it was snowing as I watched your Floss Tube! Our town is beautiful during Christmas. Several years ago a glass artist in town started to make giant figures for various businesses for the holidays. They are made of iron rebar which is then covered with lights or lighted tubing. There are now 65 giants ( 8-10 feet tall) and everybody drives around town trying to find them all. The chamber of commerce prints a Holiday brochure with a map of the giants and with printed songs for the annual Christmas sing to start off the season. Have a Joyous Christmas!

Livingston, Montana has an annual Christmas tree lighting which is charming, all the big downtown trees are lit up in gold and one perfectly shaped tree is lit up with all sorts of beautiful colors. It is a fun event! And it is starting to snow right now!

Great salesman. I just spent 230.00$!!! Your story about your friend in Wyoming just broke my heart 😢. My husband passed away in 2021 from Covid. I pray that all of her beautiful pieces went to good homes. I pray for her family. I know how hard that is to part with personal items
Happy New Year We only have a dusting of snow. I want and need more. I’m small town Illinois, about 2 hrs from St. Louis. I think getting together with family and friends is my favorite thing here.
I really enjoy your videos and you have wonderful customer service. I do not buy much because I am determined to not be a pattern collector and do not purchase a new one until I finish one. I also have some generous stitching friends who have gifted me with enough stash to keep me going for all of 2024 and beyond. Some of the things I love about where I live: The weather , we have only had snow a few times, but if you want snow, you can just drive about 70 miles and there it is, keep going and there is lots of snow. Fog puts me in the Christmas spirit Our city has many wonderful activities for the season, my favorites, Festival of Trees, Merriment on Main (Large City Tree lighting) my church's "A Visit To Bethlehem" and that has what has occured so far. Around Christmas one thing I love about my town, which is a small town in Arkansas, is the lighting of the Courthouse. It’s it oldest operating courthouse west of the Mississippi. It’s kinda like being at a Hallmark movie tree lighting and so beautiful when they flip the switch
I live in a place where we get a lot of snow and where it hangs on, so dirty snow is definitely a part of the landscape (along with lots of gray skies). There's nothing like a sunny winter day, though, with the bright white snow. Good winter experience--fireworks on New Year's Eve over the scenic creekbank. Have a merry Christmas!
I love, love, love your green Christmas stitchy box and oh, that Tidings of Comfort and Joy!!! What I super love is your Christmas Garden with brighter colors and the size (that is so outstanding!!!) Our small (population 498) town has an amazing 4th of July fireworks 🎇 display! Now, winter bonuses, I think I'd say we don't overdo the snow thing! We get a few inches a few times each winter...just enough to enjoy the beauty but usually not enough to be too much of a hardship!!! I'm grateful for that!!!
We are lucky here in south west Ohio that we do not get a lot of snow! I love the ice skating rinks (fake ice) that a business sets up in the winter and seeing families enjoying their time together skating!
I'm from the Midwest, and have been living in Florida now for a while. I do miss the snow, but I sure don't miss the cold!! I love that I don't have to bundle up in the winter too take the pup out!

I very much enjoy your floss tubes. You always have interesting content. Cross stitch being the most important, but I love all the extras. The best thing about my city is the people, all types. I think I love the snow in WA because it lasts for about a week. Not to long that it is annoying, but long enough to enjoy.

We live in a touristy town. It gets pretty busy in summer but I love it in winter because things slow down. We get one or two SNOW storms, but it doesn’t stick around long. ❄️

Loved seeing your Christmas parade! So many designs that I would love to stitch. One of the best things about our neighborhood is how everyone decorates for Christmas. People come from all over to drive or walk up and down the streets. It’s lots of fun! The only thing missing is real snow!

When I was younger, my grandma and grandpa had this humongous hill. Every winter, when it was covered with snow, we would pull our sleds to the hill and away we would go, down, down, down the hill. Oh what memories........ I truly enjoy your flosstubes. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Here in Bristol in the UK we get a sprinkling of snow perhaps once a year. I love it as it feels like the world is holding its breath for just a moment. All silent and white. It seldom lasts more than a day or so but causes absolute chaos as everything grinds to a halt. Our town puts on a lovely evening Christmas fair at the beginning of December to mark the switching on of the Christmas lights. This year was a cold and frosty so just had to keep warm with mulled wine and mince pies. Delicious! Thank you for a lovely podcast. Your projects and finishes are beautiful.

We don’t get a lot of SNOW right down on the valley floor (Willamette Valley, Oregon) so when we do, it’s magical.

So good to see you again Sheri, I always enjoy watching and seeing all the things! In my hometown, we have a NASCAR track, Bristol Motor Speedway that is decorated with thousands of Christmas lights, and decorations; you can even drive your car on the banked oval track and meander through the entire property, then come back to the infield and enjoy Hot Cocoa and Christmas Music. Downtown on our main street, there is a live reenactment of Mary & Joseph looking for a room as they travel through Bethlehem. The streets are filled with folks carrying lighted candles to help them along their way. After their journey, everyone is served hot drinks & cookies and all the shops are open for late shoppers. There is also a community Christmas tree lighting with church choirs and citizens singing Christmas Carols for an entire evening. Snow is expected tonight in the Appalachian Mountains of NC. Some of the ski slopes are already open. I love to watch the snow fall, as it is so peaceful and pretty.
We usually have snow here in Ontario, Canada, but we don't have any right now.We had 24 hours of rain.I enjoyed all your flosstubes.
Really enjoyed your video today with all the helpful tips and beautiful finishes. I live in the South and wish we would have one good snow, not just ice or rain. I love my town's Dicken's of a Christmas evening where the symphony plays, they light the town tree, there are carriage rides, hot cocoa or cider, man-made snow (since hardly any snow here), shops are open, there are strolling musicians, hand bell ringers, the local high schools chorus, orchestra, and actors in costumes for us all to enjoy. And my church does a live nativity that night.

I live close to St Augustine, Fl which has an amazing lights display. The whole town is lit up. It is beautiful, if anyone is traveling to the area I highly recommend it! We don’t get snow but a few towns and shopping areas nearby have fake snow falling, which is fun!

The designers you showed are great, thanks for mentioning them so I can go to my LNS and get them. Here's a story about a place I lived years ago. In this small town in New Hampshire, Danville, my father was in the Volunteer Fire Dept. At Christmas time he would dress up as Santa Claus and be in the Fire Department Christmas Parade. So much fun and wonderful memories for me. Thank you for asking for a special thing about our town. I loved living there. I no longer live there, but the memories will always be with me. My town is at sea level. We don't usually get a lot of snow, but it was snowing as I watched your Floss Tube! Our town is beautiful during Christmas. Several years ago a glass artist in town started to make giant figures for various businesses for the holidays. They are made of iron rebar which is then covered with lights or lighted tubing. There are now 65 giants ( 8-10 feet tall) and everybody drives around town trying to find them all. The chamber of commerce prints a Holiday brochure with a map of the giants and with printed songs for the annual Christmas sing to start off the season. Have a Joyous Christmas!

Livingston, Montana has an annual Christmas tree lighting which is charming, all the big downtown trees are lit up in gold and one perfectly shaped tree is lit up with all sorts of beautiful colors. It is a fun event! And it is starting to snow right now!

It's made my attempts at substituting floss much more successful. I adore snow. In fact, when we retire, we'd love to move to the New England area. Happy New Year We only have a dusting of snow. I want and need more. I’m small town Illinois, about 2 hrs from St. Louis. I think getting together with family and friends is my favorite thing here.
I really enjoy your videos and you have wonderful customer service. I do not buy much because I am determined to not be a pattern collector and do not purchase a new one until I finish one. I also have some generous stitching friends who have gifted me with enough stash to keep me going for all of 2024 and beyond. Some of the things I love about where I live: The weather , we have only had snow a few times, but if you want snow, you can just drive about 70 miles and there it is, keep going and there is lots of snow. Fog puts me in the Christmas spirit Our city has many wonderful activities for the season, my favorites, Festival of Trees, Merriment on Main (Large City Tree lighting) my church's "A Visit To Bethlehem" and that has what has occured so far. Around Christmas one thing I love about my town, which is a small town in Arkansas, is the lighting of the Courthouse. It’s it oldest operating courthouse west of the Mississippi. It’s kinda like being at a Hallmark movie tree lighting and so beautiful when they flip the switch
I live in a place where we get a lot of snow and where it hangs on, so dirty snow is definitely a part of the landscape (along with lots of gray skies). There's nothing like a sunny winter day, though, with the bright white snow. Good winter experience--fireworks on New Year's Eve over the scenic creekbank. Have a merry Christmas!

Our small (population 498) town has an amazing 4th of July fireworks 🎇 display! Now, winter bonuses, I think I'd say we don't overdo the snow thing! We get a few inches a few times each winter...just enough to enjoy the beauty but usually not enough to be too much of a hardship!!! I'm grateful for that!!!

We are lucky here in south west Ohio that we do not get a lot of snow! I love the ice skating rinks (fake ice) that a business sets up in the winter and seeing families enjoying their time together skating!
I'm from the Midwest, and have been living in Florida now for a while. I do miss the snow, but I sure don't miss the cold!! I love that I don't have to bundle up in the winter too take the pup out!
Lots of great stitching Sherri.. I love popping into the local tea shop for a hot chocolate drink in winter and people watch as they shop. Very comforting especially when there is snow. Happy stitching

I very much enjoy your floss tubes. You always have interesting content. Cross stitch being the most important, but I love all the extras. The best thing about my city is the people, all types. I think I love the snow in WA because it lasts for about a week. Not to long that it is annoying, but long enough to enjoy.
