amazing vid I used 2 railguns on the back and that hits him HARD when you break his shields and only needed to punch him a few times at the end. the hiding under him was gold I've been stuck on his BS for too long thanks

Fir some reason your balteus is being nice, Ive had mine flip upside down tracking me with the flame attack.. and im running a light build that is overburdened with twin 8 vert launcher..i got him to a sliver of health and he popped that fuckin shield and chipped me to death with missiles and that damn chain gun with flame sword follow up.
He can be incredibly unforgiving. I do agree with your absolutely that sometimes his AI goes nuts 🌰 and plays Uber aggressively. I hope my guide was able to help you and just let me know if you have trouble with this or any other boss I’d be happy to help out!😊
@ThatAnxiousGamer i got him finally, I had to kite him and chip his shield down in phase two then take advantage of his stagger state. And when shield procd kite him and chip again.
Very helpful video actually using parts that people will actually have rather than I’ve completed the game and have all the stuff fails so many times on him 🤣

I did it with bubble a shotty and spin sword I had low AP n chicken legs it’s like you don’t wanna change your mech too much to win it takes me out of the vibe so I just suffered for a minute hah the flamethrower sword wings I jumped over maybe not worth trying if you don’t use chicken legs tho
That actually sounds like a really cool strategy, I never thought of doing it that way.
I used 2 shotguns vertical missle and plasma missile. Worked just fine

I always die right at the second phase.
This was exactly the issue I had when I started fighting this boss. There are two keys. One is to lose less health in phase one. This is mainly done by sticking close to hit and building stagger quicker. Don’t try to dodge much instead focus on dps. The second thing is to stick to his right and left diagonals. One thing that happens often is your hit with the flame 🔥 whip/ sword right at the start of round 2. This is super common. You must stick very close to him and always boost towards him as he runs away. This boss is the king of BS so don’t worry it will for sure take you a few tries. Bro , everyone shows their parts after they beat the game 10 times. 😂. I don't have money to buy tank builds and two Gatling guns..I mean I could if I would re do missions. But I want to play them once. 😅

All you need is 2 plasma rifles and 2 plasma missiles and circle the boss at about 200-250m. Later on. If you want to play on easy mode use the Zimmerman shotgun and the stun needle launcher. I beat NG+ and NG++ in about 5 to 6 hours with it.
@@ragnarok400 dude I haven't even finished the game since it came out and your already on NG++. what other parts you use? (First time around, not with NG+)
On new game plus did it with a very different build and did the same build on the second form of that boss late game

@@ThatAnxiousGamer what i used was laser shot guns and shoulder plasma guns with a light frame to go fast on the wheel chair it tore apart balteus and snail both even thou snail was annoying to learn how to dodge
Two questions: What training mission to get the chip? And how do you punch? I though the only way was to unequip...
So I believe it’s the 3th fight in arena that unlocks the module your referencing. You punch only at the very end when you should have ran out of primary ammo in your right/left hand slots if you did the strategy correctly and stayed very aggressive. You can find them by doing the arena mini-boss fights in between main missions. Any parts you might not have should be there and the fights are relatively easy compared to the main missions.
So what you're saying is that the objective is to reduce his health faster than he can reduce mine?

It’s not you, it’s kind of a dumb mechanic, it’s actually really easy to run out of ammo mid mission from my experience.
