Just found your channel a few days ago and I have to say I'm a big fan. Your positivity really shines in these videos, well done! I've been stuck on Balteus for a while now so I'll give your build a go! Edit: Beat the Balteus 2nd try! Excellent build and tactics.
Ive followed your channel for some time and I really appreciate your content. This was super helpful and I would love a continued series. Keep up the great work!
I absolutely love this game...I played 16hrs straight last night. I lost alot, but I kept at it & the joy of finally winning is God tier. This is my game of the year so far....and trust me, that's saying something with all the gems we got this year.
My game of the year is Remnant to buy a long way. I am a from software fanboy and have been for many many years and many generations of video gaming. But remnant 2 is on another level. Kind of like how sekiro is on another level. For me armored Core 6 is just not that good. You can tell there is not a lot of Miyazaki DNA in this game. But yamamura directed my favorite game of all time or was lead designer something like that. Sekiro Shadows dies twice
For those who might struggle or loose some AP at any of the sniper/artillery MTs around the various level, a good trick is to equip the VP-44S (which has a really good Scan ranged 7s duration), use the Scan Ability (highlight target enemies for said 7s) while behind a wall/building and then use your vertical missiles. Most enemies will take 1 volley from a single missile launcher while bigger target (like some of the railgun/cannon) might take 2 volleys. The same can be done with the ACs who may be hidden behind an hill or some walls. (Such as Sulla and the concrete walls sprouting out of the water surrounding the artificial island.) For Balteus, a good trick to make it a lot easier is the install the OS Tuning "Weapon Bay" and have the pulse gun on the back part of the blade side so that you can dual-shoot both Pulse Guns at once when your blade is cooling. While you may loose quite a bit of offensive capacity by not being able to shoot both missile launchers as back weapons, Balteus shield only last about 5s if you're at about 100m from him. (Any closer and you risk a bit as he will try to tackle you with his shield on which deal around 3K-4K damages on a mid-high Energy DEF ACs.) Basically, when his shield is up, dual-shoot the pulse guns in both hands, then as he stagger switch to the blade, hit him with a charged attack, then switch back to the pulse gun and keep shooting him until your blade is cooled down again and continue the cycle. You may be able to hit him 2-3 times with the blade on top of the constant bit of damages dealt from the single back missile launcher that you NEVER stop shooting and the remaining 1 or both pulse gun (unless it's on cooldown). It takes about 20s-30s to beat Balteus with that method. If you're unlucky, you might have to use 1-2 repair kits depending on what hits you along the way. (Like his pulse attack or his 2nd phase fire blade/flamethrowers if it ACS-staggers you.) For his huge array of missiles, they can be mostly evaded by going in a sort of zig-zag movement (like in skiing) while moving towards him. When he shoots those missiles, zig-zags until the first batch of the curving missiles comes behind you (1-3 might hits you for about 100-300 damages at most), then OB (or boost) until you're at 100m (unless its shield is down). If you time the zig-zag perfectly with a single side evasion boost, you'll not get hit at all.
How to boss fight from a AC vet. Tank legs, high AP parts with stability, grenades and pile bunker. 1. boost in and kick. 2.PUNCH THEM IN THE FACE!! 3. Fire grenades. 4. Repeat. You can also start at step 4.
Dom, as always. Your content is extremely helpful. I've watched you through Elden Ring, I an very glad you are doing AC6. Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff. I'm enjoying it very much. Have a wonderful day/night.
Loving all the AC6 vids I am getting from the reco feed. I hope one addition that FS gives later on in either an update for AC6 or for AC7 is the option or a set of weapons or parts that focus on electronic warfare to hack an enemy mech to disable them non lethally. Also opens up the option to harvest parts or weapons from enemy mechs so we can use them on our own mech or sell them for funds. Would be extra awesome if this was doable for boss fights too maybe just make it more tricky to perfectly pull off but still doable and lets us get special parts or weapons from harvesting from boss units! Up to FS if they decide to make that available from the start of new game or just give that option after NG+++++. Something that might let us go for what can amount to a pacifist run specially when we consider how FS played with the story for this game. Having to fight characters that we grow to like can suck so bad. Having the option to disable their mechs without blowing them up or having the capacity to pull off Kira Yamato style non lethal mech destruction BS moves would be a nice thing specially if they design it where it'd be extra tricky to do somehow. Dismembering a parts off the enemy mechs would be cool too. Pulling out the enemy FCS unit out of their mech or whatever lets them pull off the moves they abuse during their respective boss fights and letting players use a copied version of the Boss unit's moves would be nice too. Albeit adjusted for balance purposes of course. Also I hope Bamco lets FS make their next Gundam game or maybe the next Another Century's episode or maybe a FS tactics edition ripping off or straight up improving the style used in the Valkyria Chronicles 1 and 3. SEGA shat the bed so bad with that game series that it made me wish that style gets ripped off wholesale for the next Super Robot Taisen or whatever action game gets a tactical rpg spin off. OK I think I like this idea gonna go copy paste this to other videos and make a compressed version of this to FS/ Miyazaki's twitter or something hahahhah would be awesome if folks who like this idea would spread it around. Who knows FS might just do it!
I love the casual "Hopefully you're like me and you've arrived this far with full repair kits and almost no damage taken" LOL.. you're an ailen. I'm a bullet magnet in this game, But spectacular advice on boosting Impact/Stagger, as well as how much the direct hit damage goes up while the bosses are staggered. Ludlow is one of the best sleeper weapons in the game.
I just used double pulse for shield and then double rail gun during stuns and I even stayed back to get free rail shots when his shield was down and he wanted to sit there and shoot those those agg mini missiles.
One of the worse boss fights for me was the Sea Spider. I had to go a full on cheese build to best it. With dual Songbirds, dual Gatling Guns and high AP. Even then, it was still nearly impossible for me to beat him.
Here is my number 1 thing to beat everything in this game, engage with the ACS system, stun is extremely powerful and be fast enough to keep from getting stunned. Seriously a weapons ability to stun is probably more important than how much damage it does
Actually, the Alula is not the fastest booster. That's the SPD model from late game that focuses on passive boost speed. The Alula is the strongest overall quick boost with the fastest QB, although there's a special one later that boasts the lowest QB delay for quick, short dash hops. The Fluegel is great for flying, too.
Best advice is always stay aggressive. Jumping and dodging are good. Kicking is your best friend. I cleared most of the bosses with two pistols, no shoulder weapon, and a Laser Dagger.
Also, the vertical missiles aren't for countering dodges, they're for countering shields. The delay and single trajectory makes them far easier to dodge than split or pincer missiles, but they're the only kind that's impossible to defend against with a frontal shield, making verticals a counter to Juggernaut and shield LCs.
For anyone who hasn't found out yet Melander C3 is in the base game, just locked behind making it to later chapters. I want to say it unlocked for me in chapter 5, but I'm not 100% sure.

The Melander parts are definitely in the base game, I have them and I just bought the normal version of the game. And thanks for a great guide! I am hard stuck on Balteus, so hopefully this can give me some help there.
Use heavy armor, plasma rifles and plasma missiles. Stay mobile, stay off the ground as much as possible to avoid splash damage, dodge flame swipes, and alternate charge shots between rifles - when you’re charging one, keep the other on periodic fire to keep damage going without overheating, then swap charge sides to keep your ammo consistent between rifles. You’ll thwack it in no time.
@@GearsOfCake Yeah this is basically the strat I have been trying, and I have gotten so stupidly close a couple times I know it's viable, I am just Very, Very Bad at avoiding his bullet hell shenanigans. And don't get me started on the fire.
I used reverse joint legs for speed, two Ludlows, the plasma vertical missile launcher, and the laser cannon. The Ludlows are great for breaking down the pulse shield, passive damage and great tracking with the vertical plasma missiles, and a solid AP damage burst from charging the laser cannon and releasing as soon as his shield is popped and he's staggered. I struggled on balteus for quite a few attempts until I tried that setup, which beat him first time
@@Blarrp99 I think I'm overly attached to using the swords because I love them, but this sounds like a good one. Will probably give something like it a go next time I take him on.
I been at the last boss on here for 4 hours now . I don’t have pulse armor I didn’t know I would need it . I am new to this game . Damn he is hard. I take that back I just beat him !!!
How to defeat bosses easy. Get a generator that lets you use 2 shoulder mounted weapons that you used to defeat the worm and 2 plasma rifles. Strap that on bipedal mech that can move relatively fast I defeat most bosses before they have time to enter a second faze
Nice! Need advice honestly for the fight before this one, the one with the three stealth units and the boss with the energy whip. Generally, I know what to do. Scan, get up in the air and hit one of the stealth units off the wall, defeat it down on the ground, and repeat for two more of them before confronting the boss. Problem is, survivng long enough to do that. Too many really high damaging attacks coming in while you're trying to focus on one of four enemies. I haven't actually completed that. I did try focusing on the boss first. I did defeat him, but had no repair kits and 1/3 of my bar yet, so died to the extra units. I believe the boss had a shield? Use the plasma gun here? Reverse joint legs to get a higher boost to deal with the stealth units? I am having all kinds of problems here. I put the game away and went back to BG3, not because I can't do it. More because I was failing to even have any fun trying. Any ideas appreciated!
I’ve achieved S Rank on that mission today, you want to use a long ranger head (scanner) to help you detect enemies. A hand held rocket launcher (to 1 shot the Stealth HCs) and your Sword to as a heavy attack to stagger your opponents. Scanning reveals the location of the stealth HCs if you’re close enough. Each time you die, mesmerise the spawn of the HCs as they don’t change. To conclude, Melee for stagger and Rocket to kill
There's two ways you can go about this, depending on who you want to engage first. It is generally favorable to go after the snipers first. After firing, they reveal their positions in your radar at the bottom of your HUD, you can use this to better anticipate where the shots come from. If you can't see the shots coming from your blind-spot, try assault-boost towards an empty spot, even if you get hit, the damage should be reduced. If you do this, you should cancel Assault boost early to use the remaining energy to boost towards them. Reverse joints have more advantage as they can do a large jump+quick boost either vertically or horizontally to evade the shots. After they fire, you have a decent window to boost towards the closest one to take it out. If you maintain a high enough altitude and speed the grounded "boss" generally can't reach you fast enough. (Tetrapods can utilise this.)And you can deal with it after. Those with better firepower or dodging abilty can opt to kill the "boss" first, but it's obviously quite riskier. Weapons with high impact at close range can practically ignore the shield ricochet and break through and stagger it reliably, such as shotguns, bazooka and the pulse blade. Naturally, these won't be available for follow-up damage if you use them to stagger. The linear rifle and laser rifle charged shots are good too, but they'll leave you vulnerable to hits. Double machine guns or pulse weapons can work too, but you'll have to manage your ammo/overheat.
Here's another way to do it - load up on Dafeng bazookas and long range missiles, because these things are disproportionately weak to explosives for some reason. Note: A scanned target is a target you can missile lock - so a long range scan functionally extends your FCS autolock. Also, if you run something with sufficient Quick Boost duration (max distance) and thrust speed, you can actually sidestep every single laser shot. Keep an eye on the QB Ideal Weight stat, as it massively alters your quick boost cooldown if you go overweight on it.

Balteus use hu-16s to melt the shield and dual gls or plasma cannons on shoulders to damage the health and use assault armor extension if you have it try and stay as close to the boss as possible thats how i did it first time
Bro darks souls elden ring, no problem on bosses. Fucking AC has had me stuck on this fucking boss for 10hrs every set up I try I can't fucking get him
Hi Dom.. I have watched and enjoyed your AC6 series immensely.. I have a question please. Does the enemy health and damage they do increase during NG+ and again in ++ like in elden ring?. Any info much appreciated..
I'm not sure what's going on or if updates have changed things but I have watched many UA-cam videos on this last chapter one boss and every video I watch in the second phase the boss rarely uses his flamethrowers. In my game that is all the boss does. One flamethrower after the next and it absolutely melts me. I'm not sure how all of these videos are getting through this fight with the boss barely using his flamethrower
I would have loved to know the weakness in the enemies defenses so I know weapon types to bring. I mostly just guessed at what seemed to do the most damage if I needed multiple tries.
Oh yeah. Would be nice if the head scan revealed that. Sea Spider is a bastard and soaks energy weapon damage like it's nothing, but you have no way of knowing that.
ELDEN RING was a COMPLETE GIVEAWAY . It is the perfect introduction to ANYONE getting into a FROMSOFT game. But once they finish Elden Ring and move on to 'other' games such as Bloodborne, Souls , and AC6. OH will they be painfully mistaken with what they got out of Elden Ring much more What they realize once starting those forementioned games.
The base sword does a two hit combo if you tap it, and a single big hit if you charge it. The second sword is the reverse, single hit and two hit charge.
Beating Sulla to death with two fists is actually hilariously easy. Easier than actually fighting him with guns. I also recall bringing dual pulses and having to punch Balteus the first time...
The share codes are not cross platform so if you are not playing on PC unfortunately this code won't work for you - I have updated the description to match as I have only recently become aware that codes are not cross platform 🫤
Double songbirds and double shotguns if you want to cheese it. Reverse legs if you need dodge speed for the two hit cannon volley, or quads if you want to cheese the second phase effortlessly (otherwise you apparently have to land on it with another leg type when it starts flying). The JVLN Alpha is also really good. Do not touch energy weapons. Sea Spider has obscenely high energy resistance. The freakin' Moonlight barely scratches the paint on NG+.

@@FelisImpurrator before that use the regular shotgun and the grenade shoulder weapons. Forgot the names I think the shoulder grenades are songbird or something.
@@chi7818 Oh yeah. Well, I'm on NG++. Really, anything with high impact and not energy damage is fine. Sea Spider just soaks energy and is weaker to the other damage types, probably explosive more than kinetic.
@@FelisImpurrator yeah on a first playthrough the answer is double songbirds and double machine guns then double battling guns, then double shotguns. Machine guns cause so much stagger, Gatling guns are better, and shotguns are the best imo.

I been at the last boss on here for 4 hours now . I don’t have pulse armor I didn’t know I would need it . I am new to this game . Damn he is hard. I take that back I just beat him !!!
Your build excellent. I managed to defeat balteus!
How to defeat bosses easy. Get a generator that lets you use 2 shoulder mounted weapons that you used to defeat the worm and 2 plasma rifles. Strap that on bipedal mech that can move relatively fast
I defeat most bosses before they have time to enter a second faze
Dual shotty songbird combo is mostly effective.
Destroyed the Juggernaut on my first try with your build and tactics!! Thank you, sir! Raven, out.
Great video, by chance are you making one for chapter 2?
I am planning to complete all Chapters 😁
Great guide but when I type in the code, it says that NO AC DATA EXSISTS !
Same. And from the vid I can't figure out what all the gear is

Needed this stuck on the final boss in chapter one
Balteus use hu-16s to melt the shield and dual gls or plasma cannons on shoulders to damage the health and use assault armor extension if you have it try and stay as close to the boss as possible thats how i did it first time
Im about to try your setup for the balteus fight.
It's a skill issue and I don't have it lol
Bro darks souls elden ring, no problem on bosses. Fucking AC has had me stuck on this fucking boss for 10hrs every set up I try I can't fucking get him
The fact you can't heal while moving or shooting is BS I can only heal when not using any control for the ac, wtf is that, leaves you so vulnerable
A haiku for Balteus
Annoying Pulse Shield
Flying Missiles and Fire
A great noob filter
Hi Dom.. I have watched and enjoyed your AC6 series immensely.. I have a question please. Does the enemy health and damage they do increase during NG+ and again in ++ like in elden ring?. Any info much appreciated..
I Bruteforced every fight with duel shotgun + songbird setup.....
Even before you were able to get the songbirds? Strange but I'll take your word for it 😂
I'm not sure what's going on or if updates have changed things but I have watched many UA-cam videos on this last chapter one boss and every video I watch in the second phase the boss rarely uses his flamethrowers.
@@biggiethecat4896 That doesn't tell you what a boss is weak to.
@@FelisImpurrator yeah, I had to drop my EN build and use explosives. Seemed very effective.
Step 1: 2 Zimmermanns
Step 2: 2 Songbirds
Step 3 : ...
Step 4: Profit
I love your voice I haven't even bought ac6 yet just wanted to listen to something peaceful before work
Wtf
Or am I being mocked?
ELDEN RING was a COMPLETE GIVEAWAY . It is the perfect introduction to ANYONE getting into a FROMSOFT game. But once they finish Elden Ring and move on to 'other' games such as Bloodborne, Souls , and AC6. OH will they be painfully mistaken with what they got out of Elden Ring much more What they realize once starting those forementioned games.
How are you getting off multiple sword attacks? Energy load out? Or are you pressing the button very fast?
If you hold down your melee button then you can do a heavy attack that with certain blades does two attacks
@@Rolman3D ohhh okay thank you so much
The base sword does a two hit combo if you tap it, and a single big hit if you charge it. The second sword is the reverse, single hit and two hit charge.
I'm struggling with the sea spider
Those stupid pulse guns made my game run at like 10 fps when I fought sullia so I just went with the tried and true duel shotgun strat
please continue.
Thnx dude I kicked balteus' ass twice in a row
Hiw come Balteus didn't use the flames on you?
cuz u tips i kill balteus under 2min
my main build is jump and dual sniper
pls do sea spider
I ran out of pulse shots and punched baltheus to death
Beating Sulla to death with two fists is actually hilariously easy. Easier than actually fighting him with guns.
I also recall bringing dual pulses and having to punch Balteus the first time...
Could anyone please kindly list the weapon and components for the final boss , i am a bit confused here 😅
can you use share id on ps5?
The share codes are not cross platform so if you are not playing on PC unfortunately this code won't work for you - I have updated the description to match as I have only recently become aware that codes are not cross platform 🫤
@@DomsRoundtable is it that or do ps5 even have code system at all? is it pc master race only?
I would have loved let me solo her for the malenia Ii chapter 4 boss.
Im stuck on the damn sea spider boss... i just cant get it staggered no matter what i use or do
Double songbirds and double shotguns if you want to cheese it.
Can you share the full set of armour to me for killing the chapter 1 final boss please 🙏🏻
More Boss Videos please , I'm 55 mate need the help :)
is the Share ID limited ? Says no data for the share ID im on PS5

@@DomsRoundtable don't worry boss! I used the build following the video and obliterated the first boss! Thank you! Keep going!
The answer is double long range shotguns and double stun needles.
The Zimms are post sea spider and the stun needle is end of chapter 3.
@@chi7818 No variety is no fun though. Other good options are double Nebulas, double laser pistols, laser shotgun and melee...
Can you comment ghe entite bulid so i can try it out on ps4
