just came here to say that split screen is working while streaming BDG3 via geforce experience to moonlight (lan gaming streaming app) on my apple TV. You can load a save with 2 players and then join the second controller (X/A button)

tactician is too easy but honour mode can be kinda brutal because of bugs with platforms..

I just beat BG3 today, Ansur was definitely the scariest boss for me, bro left my whole team at like 1 hp, when he started charging up i legit was scared Wyll was behind a wall but he still absolutely one shot him for some reason and because i was an Ice Sorcerer normally my go to is to use Create water, chain lightning to do massive damage, doesn't help when the boss is literally immune to lightning so im just forced to use my level 4 ice storm or level 5 cone of cold, or my ray of frost cantrip to do damage, they each do like 40 per turn so its not bad literally came down to the wire, Raphael was kinda difficult to i only won because of Hopes divine intervention healing and reviving all teammates, that was another one that came down to the wire.

Gale was my first romance and i agree with you, he is outstanding! Compassionate, intelligent and ambitious, all very attractive traits. Plus Tim Downie knocks his performance out of the park, Gale sounds the most real of all of them, and have very realistic reactions to things that happens around him. And as a woman without a vampire fetish, I agree with you about Astarion, he doesn´t do it for me at all.

The splitscreen is so free its awesome. I saw some frame drops, and with DLAA in splitscreen I get crashes (im assuming VRAM related), but switching to TAA and things are smooth. No multiple second lockups unless we're saving. But these things are to be expected when the other player is not limited in any way.

Screw all the ranting about the shitty graphics, the game engine is just pure shit when it comes to competitive gaming - unit pathing is buggy as hell, big units may easily get trapped by (our own) units - I guess it is because of the units having too huge collision boxes.

My faves- in no particular order 1. Vasco- if you choose introvert perk alone. no need to go into detail. Hes an asset in your ship crew boosts important ship stats. Hes the perfect funny robot companion, not bad in combat if he doesn't get in the way but goes down way too easily. Not sure if you can upgrade him without mods. 2. Adoring fan- great character if you want to be entertained and not care about your horrible life choices. Great packmule and great bullet sponge, give the man a great melee weapon and he'll go to work allowing you to sit back and pick your shots. 3. I'm going to have to three way tie barrett, sam and sarah all good choices so long as you're playing nice. All are decent pack rats and bullet sponges. Sam's great with the rifles, definitely the lawbringer. Sarah as finicky as she is she's extremely efficient with anything that goes pew pew. And Barrett is great for entertainment alone just give him something extra spicy and he'll go to town.

Shit just realized i was on balanced not tactician after watching this. Played balanced 1st time when it 1st came out. Was wondering why it seemed easy. Just got to act 2 so glad i can switch it before i waste the whole playthrough without experiencing it the better way

Yeah, Ethel on honour is rough. This is probably the only way to get the +5 mod on your main stat(outside of elixir of strength), so it is a good idea to go for hair. But the fight is bugged(18.08.2024), so even if you pass the check for both hair and the girl, you still might fight her to death for some reason. Love honour mode.

The only thing I agree on your tier list are the bottom 2 races. Dragonborn is pure RP race, the gameplay stuff they give is mostly useless. Tieflings are almost as bad, the sub race spells they get are mostly bad spells or very situational stuff and people who keep saying Zarial one is good for paladins, those 2 smites per long rest mean very little when other races got passive abilities that enhance the character all the time and most people either blow those smites on useless trash or save em for a big enemy and then forget to use them when they run into a big enemy. Half-Orc is mid tier stuff, normal darkvision is pretty much useless, intimidation proficiency is mostly RP stuff, relentless endurance is mostly useless since if it pops you have already failed massively in the first place and most likely will get whacked before you can make use of your 1 hp. Savage attacks would be nice if it was not restricted to melee only and even then it would only add a little damage to them crits. Drow is not really better than the other elves....well I would say it's middle of the elves, better than high but worse than wood. Drow does get a lot of RP options and is a perfect race for edgy bois. Gith get a lot but most of it is not really useful, Astral knowledge is rarely needed, gear proficiency stuff only really matters to casters as martial classes already get that stuff anyways and the spells are among the better racial spells, there is always room for more misty steps. The short race 1,5 m less movement really does not matter much since there are many ways to pump up that movement and Longstrider goes onto everyone at all times anyways. With that said, best race is Lightfoot Halfling, strongheart is 2nd and Deep gnome and Duergar tied at 3rd spot. These are for every class too, not just for some. Lucky makes you reroll crit misses and many of these crit misses turn into hits and some even turn into crits, in other words lucky makes you land more hits than other races and thus get more damage done. On saving throws it helps you avoid some nasty CC and damage, I will say that gnome cunning is better for this but gnome cunning only helps on saving throws. Then on skill checks lucky helps you once again, less crit fails mean less inspiration wasted on crit failed rolls and you thus have more inspiration to use on those really difficult rolls. At the local shop, halflings can do some serious lifting with lucky and if you steal(or buy if your weak) an invis potion, you can now steal the show from Duergar and their racial spell(best racial spell mind you) when it comes to increasing your wealth.

Lost my first honour mode by inquisitor Chrai, he kept spawning spiritual weapons.... I also want to mention that u forgot the shambling mound that is definitly no joke in honour mode, instakilled 2 people in my party, downed another, luckily I could escape with my rough. This one belongs defintly in the take care of tier. Everyone should be warned !

I Like the game, even with less micro with the builders/scv/drones but I get why others might not like it. Low barrier to entry I guess, but I hate the Art style. Art style and the designs of the units are a big Eh but maybe its cause I was expecting a Starcraft 4. The UI looks like a mobile game.
