@@c4ristopher the Dream Home was definitely a different kind of challenge, I didn’t mind it as is but I can understand why people would want more of the outpost amenities that aren’t available at it. I’ve seen a lot of different mods that have redone it to include shipbuilder landing pads and exterior storage.
I’ve made so many awesome outposts. I honestly just play it for the outpost building most of the time although the rest of the game is great. I would definitely recommend playing it.
Beautiful! Now, all we need is for Bethesda to allow you to rent it out to other players and for us to be able to invite npc characters, especially influential ones we can invite and hopefully coax into offering a high reward side mission. 😉 Here's to hoping cheers 🥂
@@sttar_pegasus I started building normal manufacturing outpost first, then switched to making an "HQ" for my PMC group that working with constellation called "Team Odyssey". After gathering all the materials i needed, i designed another Garden HQ for organics. After doing that, i wanted to push my limits and design an apartment building complex. The build limit is my greatest setback (No using any game changing mods on this playthrough, eventually i will try something to remove the limits and see how much i can build before that game crashes). I'm trying a few four-story designs because i wanted to leave my ship and walk into the building, trying to build around an LZ isn't easy without breaking the game. Another condition i had was building close to a civilian outpost, now with the car, i can drive right over for missions.
@@IN-tm8mw that sounds great, I hope you have fun building it! I’m also wary of using mods that change outpost limits, I figure they are there for a good reason. Setting up near a civilian outpost with a trader is one of my early game strategies to get credits easily without having to go into the Settled Systems. It’s really working well for my RP this time around now that I’ve found one.
@@sttar_pegasus My current build is set up on Ixyll 2 between the "Eleos Retreat" (For shops) and "Construction Site" for civilian mission boards and infinite storage boxes. Local wildlife can be dangerous if attacked but they mostly leave me alone. Me and my friends put years of moding into Fallout and Skyrim, so I know what will happen if i try with Starfield. I tend to wait until everything becomes more stable so i don't have to fix anything before i feel like playing.

@@sttar_pegasus I'm totally facinated by all floors/floorings, tiles and carpeting: how you were able to make everything fit together so seamlessly... also the entrance way to Cloverleaf is simple yet elegant! I wish I had that 'abstract/artistic eye' to create these kinds of places; mine all look industrial and NON-inviting lol!! Cheers!
@@ajalbetjr I’m fairly particular about lining up the edges of rugs if I’m going for a tiling effect, but I used a collision cheater from one of my mods extensively to merge together, float, and place rugs as ceilings. It’s in the Buildable Walls & Doors mod on Creations.
Wow. I love the round habs but find it difficult to decorate to look nice, but starting from the lounge and then the different suites, you have some clear skill and have given me some ideas on how to make them look nice. And I also have dedicated a spot on Nemeria IV-a as my "Home" base.

Amazing hab, I love it. That's an excellent interior decoration job, and the whole cloverleaf structure looks pretty awesome. How did you pull off the interior walls like around the bathroom and such? Obviously I missed a trick somewhere as all I have are those cheap office partition things which are horrible. I still haven't fully skilled up so might be I don't have access yet, so something to look forward to maybe? Oh, one note on the video itself: Normally I have my system set where I run ~50-75%ish volume on youtube with no problems for 99% of the videos, but this one for some reason falls into the 1%. I had to bump youtube volume up to 100% and still turn on CC for some of the spots. Normally I don't do that unless I'm listening to fun music lol.
This is lovely! I never would have guessed that this was built from pieces meant to resemble ISS components; you did a fantastic job with the luxury aesthetic.
@@TitaniumMigg3r not a mod, just an exploit. I made these by placing a square hab under the round ones and then deleting it, and the support pillar just didn’t spawn back in.

I built the center hab first, connected more square habs to get a layer one level below the bottom of that center hab, and connected the round habs so they were stacked on the square hab layer. When I deleted the square habs out from underneath, the support pillars just didn’t spawn. I’ve been playing with it a little more and it seems like it has to be habs of a different shape or the support pillar will show up when you delete the lower layer.
Transfer Settlement is currently being updated for Fallout 4 and soon their will be a release for Starfield please don't delete your settlement builds so they may be shared with the community

Pegasus; absolutely amazing work. If you're not a designer, you should be. In Fallout 4, NPCs could/would join your outposts. I wish NPCs would populate the outposts in this game. I'm a people person in RL, and I hate empty spaces. Is there an NPC populate mod? Thanks for sharing, love it.

I have heard good things about Bard’s Outpost Recruitment Beacon, if you’re interested in modding your game that could help add more NPCs than the crew assignment limits in the base game. I haven’t tried it personally. The other thing I have heard of others doing, which I am hoping to test soon, is building adjacent outposts to have many assigned crew members right next to each other.
I've used Bard's Outpost Recruitment Beacon and yes, it does populate your outposts with settlers. They have a someone random appearance. They can be assigned to patrol or clean up duties and the mod can do that randomly. It's impressive to see some wildlife wander too close then all of the turrets and your colonists open fire on it!
Ive been having much fun modding and playing after the new dlc. Havent tried outposts again since i played last year but im definitely going to soon. Personally I would have immersion issues with the giant circle habs not being supported properly but it could make sense on a low g planet.
This is the future. Either the materials are strong enough to support the mass, or they have some sort of anti-grav support built into the bottom of the habs. The ships have artificial gravity so it's not a stretch to think these people have anti-gravity.
Shame you didnt build this in the creation kit, id 100% download it. Can i ask how did you get the floating habs ? Did you say in another comment that you did it by building on top of a different shape hab ?
@@CraigH2288 thank you! Unfortunately I don’t have access to the Creation Kit yet but if I do make something like this to share I’ll be sure to post about it. That’s right, you stack a different shaped hab under the hab you want to float. Then drag the lower hab out from underneath, place somewhere else in your outpost, and then delete it and the support pillar for the upper hab doesn’t spawn. I’m working on making a tutorial about it for the folks who have an easier time learning visually. :)
Nemeria makes me think of Nymeria, Aria Stark's Dire Wolf. I like to make scenic outposts too. I have one high atop a mountain on Alpha Andraste 3 where I can watch the sunset and sunrise. I'm not using mods.
Ok i got the top circle habs to place without the foundation. But how did you attach the bottom circular habs without THIER foundations showing? Im fighting with it and cant seem to get it to work. EDIT: Figured it out. You gotta play with the 2 floor square habs to side step the main 3 branches and lower it one more, then place another 2 floor even with the side one under the circle hab again, and then you can delete the side stepped one leaving space to place the bottom circle hab. God that took me forever to figure out.
@@GnLguy1226 I placed the bottom ones first and then stacked the upper habs on top. The bottoms habs were stacked on a layer of the green square habs. I’ve only played with it a little but the support pillars seem to not spawn when you use different shaped habs underneath and then delete them.

@@jackgoodman5848 heya, I made it by building the central double hab first, then making a step-down with another double hab and attaching a ring of single habs to the lower section. I attached the large round hydro habs to the central hab, stacked on top of the single habs. Then I pulled the support habs out from underneath, placed them anywhere else in the outpost, and deleted them. If you delete the supporting habs from directly underneath, the support pillars will respawn. Dragging the support hab away glitches the support pillar out and leaves the habs floating.
For a moment I was confused of why the main stairwell was outside and not in the stem of the building but then I thought thats probably where the elevator shafts and emergency escapes or something are but theres knowwhere they can open in the main area so that wouldnt really be in place
Oh, yeah the stem is just the foundation of that middle hab. The planet it's on has low gravity so it's totally plausible that this structure could be suspended by internal supports.

There is a "Billboards & Posters" mod (not the exact name but almost) in CK that can alter the posters/pictures that you can place in outposts/ships

One of the things I really don’t like about star fields outpost is the cold hospital feel of the decor

how do you make the showers? I have a mod that adds shower parts like the glass, shower head fixture but none of them go together lol.
@@CrazyCatLady2360-5 they are from Betamax’s Functional Decor and they actually snap together, it makes them very easy to place. Highly recommend.

For a moment I was confused of why the main stairwell was outside and not in the stem of the building but then I thought thats probably where the elevator shafts and emergency escapes or something are but theres knowwhere they can open in the main area so that wouldnt really be in place
Oh, yeah the stem is just the foundation of that middle hab. The planet it's on has low gravity so it's totally plausible that this structure could be suspended by internal supports.
Well theres an idea for if you rebuild it so that it could easily follow dva and ada regulations because then it could become a real building some day

You need to improve the audio mixing. Music is too loud, voice is too quiet.
