Thank you so much for posting this!!! I've been dealing with this for months and it kept getting worse. Started putting people on hold while I'm on the phone. Today, it got me when it turned off the AC in my 2016 SRX in the Houston summer, and wouldn't allow me to touch it! This began at about 51k miles and dealer said out of warranty, $1400 to replace. Wasn't a big deal at first, but has gotten progressively worse. This is not a complete fix as it is still trying to act crazy, but definitely helps to where I can make adjustments and turn the AC back on. This has become a driving distraction. Cadillac should recall this.
Try this, Open the radio little door , turn off car , open driver door for 30- 60 seconds then close door, turn car on and it should work. Another way is put it on clock and at right press the timer, while radio is off and car. then go back to full screen. You can also buy a refurbish one for around $150. screw the dealers, they're a rip off.

Mine is 2016 xts and I can't get it to work I did everything I only have 25k miles this is a huge problem for cadillac that need a recall on but they will loose a lot of money. I'm thinking of selling it

Haha! Thank for putting up this vid bro. My mom's car did this and she wanted to take it to the dealer. Last trip to the dealer she needed new shocks on her trunk lid, the guy tells her, " oh we're going to have to replace the entire deck lid and repaint it to match your car as well as replace the shocks, total estimate $3.864.50 . Fukkin crooks. I swapped the shocks out for 35 bucks. Took longer to drive to AutoZone and get them than it took to fix. Thank you 💕

Don't go to dealer....they will rob you blind!! dealer will tell to you to replace whole unit ! $1350.00 plus labor..... Cha Ching !! Cadillac should have done a recall on this poorly made system.....My XTS Cue is froze....I can tap screen all day....this doesn't work for me.....good luck

Sometimes it reads my touch and most of the time it don’t, I haven’t tried this yet but I’ve tried the open dash and kill engine trick. It works for maybe a couple minutes then it goes right back to not reacting. If this works I will comment back and reassure it does. If not I will need some help without having to spend money or if I do the cheapest route possible! Please and thank you. Btw my caddy is a 2013 ats.

After nearly having the vehicle for 3 years (warranty expired already) my fiancé's 2013 ATS Cadillac Cue freezes all of a sudden. Months pass after we've tried the tips and tricks provided online, and still nothing. About a month ago, while messing with the keys trying to get it to work again, only the half top of the Cue responds. The top keys on the Cue work but not the A/C or bottom keys. We know the problem isn't the screen because the backup camera responds every time we place the gear on Reverse, but only half the screen works!!!! It's incredibly frustrating and highly annoying. I used to want to own a Cadi... I don't think I want one anymore.

I do have a Cadillac ATS 2014 with just 51000 miles on it (I am writing this comment on Nov 2019). So far it is two times that LCD got a problem. I have no clue how to fix it. The first time the screen got the problem (it start cracking from inside! the like injecting air between two layers of the screen). They (Edmond Cadilac) fixed it for me for free. The second time the LCD starts to touching itself and changing channels and everything!!! I asked the Cadillac in Edmond and they told me you need to pay 1200$ to replace it! just think about it! THEY GONNA CHANGE IT FOR ME WITH ANOTHER ONE FOR 1200$ AND I AM SURE THE LCD WILL GET PROBLEM AGAIN.!!! it is really frustrating and disappointing. I wish they make something less fancy! but more durable.

I replace new new pack with monitor but when i run this shit it was frozen and just top of screen did worked but about center and down it doesnt work , what should i do?
