- Hi Guys,
This is what I feed my baby boy Caleb, in an average few days. Caleb is 8 months old now and a good eater! I have to apologies for the lack of make up and hair styles in this video (oh and also my shaky hand while filming - a bit new at this :-)
I hope it is a tiny bit useful for weaning stage 2 meal ideas. If it is please 'like' and I will see you all soon.

Such a helpful video..my son just turned 8 months now i know what types of food to feed.. I just have one problem..he's a bit behind as he hasn't started grabbing finger foods..and he has no teeth yet .:(
Jennifer Ezeabasili every baby grows at a different rate just cause another baby grows faster doesn't mean all of them will.. you can't make a baby grow teeth it's just not possible.
Haha. I don't have kids yet, but can I just say that between you and your son's smiles this is a great video to watch even if you don't need this kind of advice (yet!). He is just adorable. I loved how he cocked his head back to smile at you lol. Great videos. Perhaps Ill come back in a few years when I have a little one!

This is a great video! I must say, as a mother of 4, every baby is different! My children... 18 years old to 6 months. Follow your babies lead. Some are ready, some are not! I introduced finger foods earlier to my oldest because he was ready. My 6 month old I tried introducing soft foods besides purée and he isn’t ready. If they aren’t ready, purée them! Keep occasionally offering them. You will know when he/she is ready! As a starter I always introduced foods that dissolve quick Incase they do choke. Good luck!

Wow this has been the best video I’ve seen in all UA-cam about baby foods. I wish I had ideas to feed my son. He’s 9 months and Barely eating purées. He looks like he wants to eat my food but I’m afraid to feed him. I’m not sure if he’s ready to swallow but seeing your baby encourages me to try. You’re so confident in feeding him. This is my first time. I wish my son was eating like Caleb :(

Such a good eater! Did he take his bottle well while having all these solids. Was just curious cause my little one loves his solid and went down on his milk a bit when we started the solids!

Omg Caleb is sooo cute! My twins are 9 months and still no teeth! I see u feed him 3x a day! How do u feed him milk? Like whats ur feeding sched with milk and food? Do u still feed him milk after food?? Ur so brave in letting him try a looot! Caleb is such a good eater! Bless him! Was wondering where u get info for like feeding table on what to feed and not? I know this is too late to ask since this video was uploaded a few years ago, but could you tell me how much milk he used to take? Or how much milk does your youngest one took when he was 8 months? If you breastfeed, how many times a day? Also, what types of cheese do you give them? I love your videos and you have been very helpful and inspirational when i started weaning my baby! My baby is 8 months old nearly 9 but he even doesn't have teeth yet but I started feeding him with solids 3 months ago, I think I was giving him the same thing all the time and today I remember I could look for ideas on your videos 😀 it has been so helpful, I didn't know I could give him cheese, will definitely change his menu from tomorrow 😁 just one question, I can give him any type of cheese????

Emily, my daughter is 7 and 1/2 month old and has no teeth yet. I don't know if I can introduce finger food, do you think it's too early? I don't feel comfortable giving finger food to her at this stage, but I don't want to skip that moment when they have to be introduced to finger food. Also - when did you introduce the cheese? Great vid!
Aw I know it is scary at first isn't it. I felt much better after I'd gone to a first aid class on how to help a choking baby. Maybe you could offer really soft or small finger food like ripe bananas or pears of peas of toast to gum on at first with you there. I was surprised at how well Caleb took to it but do it when you feel happy to or she'll pick up on how nervous you are I reckon :-) good luck! Also what is your first name? xx

Great video, found lots of great ideas for my 7month old, he’s a great eater but not often eats the shop made meals , sweet purees are fine but he never seem to like dinners (my home made must be much better 😂😉) , I was wondering do you give them cold or how to you heat them on the go?

OMG! What a good eater your baby is! I have a 9 month old and I am so afraid of chocking. I just started to give him chunkier purees and he threw it all up. Any advice on what to introduce first?
Aw you obviously had a fear of choking because you knew he wasn't ready. No one knows your baby as well as you do. My boys always loved avocado and banana smashed together with a fork, cauliflower cheese, cheesy mash, sweet potato and carrot and peas! Xx

Maybe he is not ready for finger foods yet but we'll continue practicing..today we had bananas and kiwi..a couples of attempts and a few tiny pieces went to his mouth! +Erika Downing ha ha definitely we're more scared - they are pretty resilient. To be honest I have two boys and on some days I wonder how they have energy, as some days they don't eat much at all. I think as long as we try then we're doing a good job! Xx

Caleb is so adorable! My 2 soon to be 3 years old son used to eat like this. However, my 8 months old daughter, Mia doesn't eat much. Every time I feed her something a bit thicker than the baby rice cereals mix with milk, she would choke and throw up. Do you have any tip for me to by pass this? To help her eat more solid foods?
Is he really eating the finger foods or is he just sucking on it. I'm terrified my 9 month old will choke. Should I just let him go for it? Any advice?
It does seem to me that they can choke with grapes ask w.i.c as well for more help

Hi, my babe eats mostly cheddar cheese or mozzarella on pizza and he also loves soft cheeses (like dairy lea and cream cheese) on toast or breadsticks. I think I'll film an up to day 'what my baby eats! As I have a 1 year old now xx

how do you get him to eat so much? my son only eats four meals a day. to ensure he takes enough formula, i am giving him three bottles (7oz) each and one meal of solids only. each bottle keeps him full for five hours so I'd don't want to force him to eat more. am i doing something wrong?

mines only have two bottom teeth n chokes on most solid side from mash potatoes so I don't bother yet with hard fruits. I do want to try the baby cookie I wonder do they melt upon contact

Hi Jennifer, the high chair is from Ikea. It was really reasonable in price and so easy to clean! I'd really recommend it. Good luck with the weaning, it sounds like he is baby led weaning :-) xx
How old did he start eating?
just wondering if your baby still has milk? it may be different in the UK but we are encouraged to give more milk than foods at this age.
I'm wondering the same thing. He eats a lot of solids. Doesn't seem like there is room for milk?
+Rebecca Palmer Hi Rebecca, he was exclusively breastfed and then moved on to cows milk at one year. As he is such a big boy I started weaning him on solids at 4 months as I couldn't keep up with my supply. In the UK once they are fully weaned onto 3 meals a day you drop their milk a bit. All babies are different and this one is a real eater who loves his food so don't feel like yours should be up to that - I can barely eat this much myself ha ha xx
Okay he started at 4 months. He is very experienced. My son is almost 9 months and still trying to understand how to chew and swallow.
