Both are on the gifted scale and have no problems physically with art/seeing colors/eye hand coordination, etc. In fact, my husband is a designer and my brother is an extremely talented wedding photographer featured in many wedding and photography magazines. To say it must not be skipped for a child to function is simply not true. Your child could just be not interested in crawling and want to walk instead. Was worried about my son not rolling at 5 months but by 6 he was crawling, he skipped rolling, some babies just don't have the motivation to do certain things.
Thank you, being a FTM and social distancing I have been making myself crazy over wether or not my son has been hitting those milestones, I’m not around any other parents or kids to assure myself that my beautiful 5mo old is “normal”. Mommy groups on social media just makes it worse because of the competitive nature of them and the fear mongering they cause Bu jumping to untrained diagnosis of things that could be wrong with your baby. This video really set my mind at ease and brought me peace that I haven’t had in a while.
Omg I feel this girl. My baby just turned 6mo today. Keep up the good work mama, it's hard rn but what a blessing to be alive and have these sweet babies
I think every single month counts and is equally important to a newborn. Breaking it up into 2-mont increments isn't quite enough for those who are looking for sub milestones. Going from baby needs support to "can lift head entirely on it's own" is a HUGE difference and I think there is a lot of wiggle room. Something more specific, like they can hold their head up for 1,2 or 3 minutes at a time by themselves before falling down. Something like that. At what point does the baby go from "can hold head up for a bit" to "can hold head up entirely on their own"? There is more subtlety to the early months than you say.

My son is pinching like an adult but the only thing he didn't do that worries me is Not putting things in mouth. He barely do that. He will hold onto things, pinch stuff, transfer from one hand to another but he will not put things in his mouth. It was rarely. And he didn't want to eat too. Just one nom and that's all. I'm quite tired but i just wish this is normal so it can give me hopes to no give up on him. He just turned 1 years old

My boy is 12 weeks old and hes struggling to keep his head up during tummy time. But I was never informed (as a first time mum) of the importance of tummy time. So hes very late to beginning tummy time. I hope it doesnt effect his motor or fine skills later on. Everything else he is on track with. I'd even say his language skills are advanced which is amazing. Since I sing songs and I sing him nursery rhymes when we play
My brother had little tummy time and I was worried at first when he didn't do things other baby's did but now he's 7 months and loves to stand (with help)
FTM here, my baby was army crawling at 4.5 months, full crawling at 5 months and is now pulling to a stand and cruising at 6mos. It's so hard to find any resources if this is "normal".
Yup. There's such a wide range of normal. Mine sat at 4mo. Could sit and okay unaided at 5mo. Walked at 8mo. I can't remember her cruising much though 🤔 but then some don't until the later end. It's all normal. Comparing is really stressful and not worth it
Absolutely. Each baby is different. My oldest was crawling at 3-4 months standing without support at 5 months, fully walking at 7 months. My youngest was crawling at 7 months and walking at 11 months. Every child is special in their own way.
Thank you! You are better than some pediatrician. I wish I watched this when I had my first baby. I was so terrified because my baby wasn't doing based on what their book saying. Thank God! Now no one can catches him when he runs around.

Hey, I love your videos, they are so helpful. In this one you touched on raising your baby bilingual. could you possibly do a video with advice on that?
Hmm... it’s amazing how different all babies are my baby is only 1 month old and she rolls A LOT from belly to back and has even started to do it from back to belly and she coos sometimes as well but these guidelines are helpful especially for ftm ❤️

I need help! My baby is 5mthsshe was born 6weeks early as a premie. I think she has anxiety of some sort because when we are out at a family's house or somewhere unfamiliar with noise she will check out her surroundings, evaluate the room and starts to cry. Once she starts there is no consoling her. Not even me her mother and she then begins to shake and gag from being so upset. Has anyone ever had this problem?
Hi! Could you make a video on speaking two languages to a baby/toddler. Mine is almost a year old. Like should we stick to one only? Am I confusing him or delaying his speech by speaking to him in two languages?
My baby is 19 months old and he's now rotating, something like crawling. We've seen the paediatrician and conducted some tests. She said nothing is wrong with my baby so I should give him time. But I'm worried.
My daughter walked at 9 month and stat teething at 5 month and now my soon to b 4 months baby boy is put out teeth and he's reversing and turning. If I put him down in a straight line whenever I cane back, he'll be across the bed. So I think every baby developed at different times some much earlier than some
My baby started to roll over around 3.5 months and it was hard to put diaper on her coz she would keep rolling over every time we change her diaper. At 6 months she was trying to stand on her own sometimes 3-6 seconds. She’s 9 months now, she hasn’t cruised, never saw her cruise but she pulls herself up and would stand. And then she tries to put her hands up and down with her body like she’s trying to bounce or something. She’s been saying her sister’s name Arara (Aurora) and her name Awewine (Adeline).
My 1 month old is rolling over and holding his head up like a champ ! And he’s clearly smiling at me and it’s not gas lol 😂 This is my 4 th baby so I know what’s going on is unusual
I used this doc herbs for my son and now my son is completely free, his speaking and behavior is ok. His herbs is 100% working on ASD. I met Dr Oyalo on channel and I’m happy to share my experience about it
I was taught that in a multiple language household each parent should speak only in one language to their baby. If one or both parents speak to their baby in multiple languages, it can cause delay in the baby’s language development. It’s suggested that each parent pick one language they want to teach their baby and speak only in that language. Example: mom is fluent in three languages and dad is fluent in French and English…. Mom to baby “Hola” (Speaks only in Spanish to baby) Dad to baby “Hello” (Speaks only English to baby) Then the baby will learn both English and Spanish without any confusion or delay in speech.☺️ And of course as they get older you can always add in other languages for them to learn. 💖💛❤️🧡💖💜💚💙💖
You dont know for a fact that babies dont social smile before 2 months . Yes they grimace with gas but when a baby younger then 2 months old will hold your gaze and return a smile that's not gas.
My daughter crawled until she was about 15 months lop she could stand and take a step or two but she was just comfortable crawling. She's a great and fast walker now ❤❤
I used this doc herbs for my son and now my son is completely free, his speaking and behavior is ok. His herbs is 100% working on ASD. I met Dr Oyalo on channel and I’m happy to share my experience about it
Is it true that bilingual/trilingual babies talk a little later than babies who only learn one? My baby is regularly exposed to 3 languages at a time and I keep wondering if she will be delayed in speaking bc of it 😳
Thank you so much for the video, may you please do a video of baby's sleep development throughout the first year. my baby is now catnapping at 3 months
If they stand from sitting and take steps while holding on before they start crawling, does that mean they might miss the crawling stage? How do you recommend helping with crawling?
My baby started having stranger anxiety at 3 months. She wouldn't let anyone carry her but me, even my husband could barely carry her for a long time cause she'd cry until I'm the one holding her. Is that normal?
Very late to the party but we have had our forst baby nearly 4 months now and I personally find the baby ok but am struggling with the partner. Nothing major but shes harder work and more exhausting than the baby for me. I work full time shes off for the year. I work well on little sleep she absoluelty hates functioning on a lack of sleep and its mentally driving her crazy. Shes stressing so much about sleep regression and training and all sorts, perhaps a vodeo on this topic would be brilliant... or do you already have one. About sleep trianing and the partner being more work, thanks
Do you take corrected age into consideration when doing milestones? Like my son was 6 weeks premature, he was born nearly 7lbs and 22 inches long so the size of an average full term baby. He’s almost 4 months and hitting 90% of the milestones would be he right on schedule for ahead based on his corrected age?
My baby is 6 months old now but he doesn't laugh or roll or sit but just turns to his side. He doesn't even grab anything. Should I be concerned about this?
My baby started rolling from tummy to back at his 3 months of age. But around the beginning of 4 months, he stopped rolling. He mostly interested in sitting with pillow support. He also initiates sitting without support, but of course he still needs more time to learn sitting independently. Now he is 4.5 months. But he doesn’t roll from back to tummy either. He enjoys bouncing on his feet holding my hands. I am not sure if I should be worried about his rolling skill. Your video is very informative, could please help me with it. Oh I forgot to tell you he started cooing and make sounds like, “booo” “da da” and “A A”. Thank you.

I know a baby that would call the family dog dada so I always found that to be funny. She had words for mom, grandma, grandpa, family friends, but dada was for dad and the dog.
My little girl is 2 months and she knows one vowel: “EEEEE!!!!” That’s her thing lol. She just squeals. The best is when she’s so happy and she looks like she wants to laugh and instead she lets out a “EEEEEEE” haha

Hi, my baby is more a month old he startles at some noises. But when you call him from afar he does not turn is that normal or should i get worried that he might have hearing loss?

What happens when mom only sees 10 mo. Baby girl 2 days a week. And the dad n grandparents take care of baby. Can that cause problems w baby development?
Thank you so much. That your not by the books and every baby is different. My son at 5months said mom and 6months dad. Now 8months he knows who’s mom and who’s dad. If I walk out the room he calls for me . And if my husband leaves he cry’s for dad. And said dad all day but when he cry’s he knows to call me lol
I used this doc herbs for my son and now my son is completely free, his speaking and behavior is ok. His herbs is 100% working on ASD. I met Dr Oyalo on channel and I’m happy to share my experience about it
My eldest daughter started to walk at 13mos, my 2nd girl at 9mos and my 3rd baby boy is now 8mos and just started to stand( given there’s something to hold)
I had a child care career for 10 years and now am a mother around kids at church play group etc. I’ve noticed the kids who are not vaccinated reach milestones a lot quicker, are more aware, and speak better than the ones who were. 3 boys I know were also not the same after mmr. My niece regressed after a combo shot too.
If i knew any other language I would start as soon as that baby came home from the hospital, I would use both. My client did that with her son, and it sounds so good to hear them communicating
This has been very insightful, our 4 and a half month old is hitting typical 6ish month milestones and so on so we are blessed and proud of her tenacity and her wanting to do more then we expect haha! She's a "do-er" lol

I’m an OT in Peddu for 33 years. It’s very frustrating for me that people don’t take more time to focus on the importance of Crawling. Crawling is probably the most crucial milestone a child can do to help them develop and have the most success in future learning in behavior. This is when their tonic neck reflex is get further integrated, they begin to develop near and far point focusing, it helps to develop the artist in their hands to get ready for intricate fine motor skills, helps build core strength and most importantly gets to two sides of the body working in a coordinated fashion as well as strengthens your eye hand coordination had to mention of a bunch of other sensory system benefits… this is a wonderful video but it be nice if you did some thing to emphasize Crawling benefits!
I work at a school where we do a brain based program and we do crawling and gym exercises and intergrated learning system! It's a musical therapy we do, it's works on their brain and the bone conduction!
My husband and my twin brother both skipped crawling and went straight to walking/running at 8 months.
Your child could just be not interested in crawling and want to walk instead. can you please talk about how to raise bilingual children? you mentioned this at the end of the video.
one way is how i learned is one parent speaks another language and the other another it'll force the kid to learn to be able to speak to their kid
Thank you, being a FTM and social distancing I have been making myself crazy over wether or not my son has been hitting those milestones, I’m not around any other parents or kids to assure myself that my beautiful 5mo old is “normal”. Well the reason they did it by twos is because it’s a generalized range with the milestones, they said it in the video.
Thank you for this information. I've had three kids but they have all developed so differently.
Thank you!! I started worrying and my husband found this video and made me feel much better about our 7 month old.

My baby is only 3 months and he rolled over from Stomach to Back. He puts everything in his mouth. He also laughs too. He'll be 4 months in 2 weeks!
I assume all babies who are top heavy roll over from tummy to back while doing tummy time…it’s not a milestone

I met Dr Oyalo on channel and I’m happy to share my experience about it
Very practical and realistic video. Enjoyed watching the genuineness in both of you.
Is it true that bilingual/trilingual babies talk a little later than babies who only learn one? My baby is regularly exposed to 3 languages at a time and I keep wondering if she will be delayed in speaking bc of it 😳
My baby start her Stranger around 5-6 months. She only needs her mommy.
Thank you so much for the video, may you please do a video of baby's sleep development throughout the first year. my baby is now catnapping at 3 months
Do you advice to use walker? What's the best time to use a walker?
If they stand from sitting and take steps while holding on before they start crawling, does that mean they might miss the crawling stage? How do you recommend helping with crawling?
My baby started having stranger anxiety at 3 months. She wouldn't let anyone carry her but me, even my husband could barely carry her for a long time cause she'd cry until I'm the one holding her. Is that normal?
I loved this video. Thanks. My anxiety went down a bit bc my son is 13 months & still hasn’t said mama yet. He can walk & do everything else though.
Same here
Everything turn out ok?
She stole his only victory with the dada thing😁😁😁that was funny lol
My first daughter who is now 6 was saying "mum" at 3 months !!
I been looking this kind of info/ videos finally l found your guys
Thank you very much it's informative; keep up the good work 👍
My baby is 6 months old now but he doesn't laugh or roll or sit but just turns to his side.

Please make a video about bilingualism! :)
Thanks so much Dr Kyle Walker! 😄
My son was born 2/18 /23 he was a few old weeks when i first seen him roll over. 😮
Seems like a great guy/ dad. Lucky family.
My baby is going the standing thing with 7month, is that okay? Should I buy a walker?
My little girl is 2 months and she knows one vowel: “EEEEE!!!!” That’s her thing lol. She just squeals. The best is when she’s so happy and she looks like she wants to laugh and instead she lets out a “EEEEEEE” haha
That’s so cute lol mine says “ahhh” in different tones lol

Hi, my baby is more a month old he startles at some noises. But when you call him from afar he does not turn is that normal or should i get worried that he might have hearing loss?
Both my kids where crawling by 6 months and walking by 9 months
Thank you both. This is absolutely helpful not only to young parents but also to USMLE preparations lol. Hope to see more videos.

I’m learning about this in health and social care
My baby was born 3 momths premature so figuring out what milestones when is crazy lol
My baby is 5months plus and she's on de journey of crawling, should I be worried...a first time mum
My 6 month old daughter wants an iPhone, should I get worried?
No
It's a little odd, typically children at that age would have moved in to wanting an Android.
That's a ridiculous statement
Yep , coz u used it when around them. Stop it and u will see difference
I would start them with a flip phone and then move them up to an iPhone by month 9
What happens when mom only sees 10 mo. Baby girl 2 days a week. And the dad n grandparents take care of baby. Can that cause problems w baby development?
My baby rolled from tummy to back at 2 months old.
My daughter is 5 months and she doesn't roll over at all yet😩
Please do the video about the baby listening to two languages
Thank you so much. That your not by the books and every baby is different. My son at 5months said mom and 6months dad. Now 8months he knows who’s mom and who’s dad. If I walk out the room he calls for me . And if my husband leaves he cry’s for dad. And said dad all day but when he cry’s he knows to call me lol
Really well explained. Thank you.
This video made me very emotional haha your baby is so cute.. 35 weeks today and can’t wait.. I’m nervous but I’m prepared❤️

Ummm...why does my boy flip onto his back at 2.5wks???
Such a cutie video thank you!! You two are a great team
Cute couple. Enjoyed your video.
My eldest daughter started to walk at 13mos, my 2nd girl at 9mos and my 3rd baby boy is now 8mos and just started to stand( given there’s something to hold)
My baby is basically crawling at 4 months
❤❤ Thank you for sharing 🙏 ❤
My boy rolled over at 10 weeks, but was born 3 weeks early so I guess it’s adjusted to 7 months 😄
Thank you❤❤❤
How do you incorporate language in your babies life ? When should you introduce another language ?
If i knew any other language I would start as soon as that baby came home from the hospital, I would use both. My client did that with her son, and it sounds so good to hear them communicating
Im not bilingual but i’d say from day 1, use both/ all languages so baby starts learning and hearing both.
My mom told me I used to just roll around instead of crawl.
This has been very insightful, our 4 and a half month old is hitting typical 6ish month milestones and so on so we are blessed and proud of her tenacity and her wanting to do more then we expect haha! She's a "do-er" lol
