  • Hi friends! I wanted to share 4 easy baby led weaning recipes with you that my 9-month-old eats all the time. Owen loves trying new foods and textures, so he has a blast eating all of these. I like to serve the bites/nuggets with plain Greek yogurt and some sort of fruit that is cut according to his age range. Freeze any of these recipes for up to 3 months! Hope your cuties love them!

    Is it okay to use this pancake recipe to introduce peanut butter? We are a little late on the peanut butter intro so he is 11 mo. He already has had everything else introduced separately so if he has a reaction I know it's due to the peanut butter in the pancake. What is your concern in regards to omitting PB if it hasn't been introduced?

    • @SarasBites
      @SarasBites  2 роки тому +2

      So honestly what I would do first is put a tiny bit of peanut butter on a spoon or your finger and let him try first. Wait 15 min and see how he does. That’s what my pediatrician told me to do when first introducing it and we had kids Benadryl just in case. She said giving them just peanut butter without anything else in a tiny quantity was a better way to introduce it. But if you want to make the pancakes without peanut butter, totally don’t add it.

      @@SarasBites how did you do it? Mine had none at 10 months:/ I ran out of breastmilk at 2.5 months due to an illness and wasn’t able to get my supply….

      @@gabim3093 oh I totally feel ya with running out of supply. With my first I ran out 5 weeks and he never latched. Second baby I definitely tried a ton of different ways to increase supply and pumped for 4 months. But the teething part is super hard. I truly don’t think anything helps them until those teeth just pop out. :/
