- For those of you who don't know, our step dad has been in our life for 16 years and we think of him as our real father. He welcomed us with open arms and loves us like his own children. Today we thought it would be the perfect time to show him how thankful we are and how much we love him and ask him to officially become our father and adopt us. We are so excited and feel extremely lucky. We love you dad!!

I LOVE this!!
That statement is a perfect example of class my friend!
Great statement
Yes! Well said😄
I wish I had a stepfather like this. Awesome man with a lot of class.
Every father is a gangsta until their children melt their hearts.
True, couldn't ask for a better father in the world. Must've done something right in a previous life to have him as a father in this life. Wow.
Soooo trueeeee. Friends and cousins have always been scared of my teddy bear of a father and I used to be confused as to why hahaha
@NN D He feeds them, clothes them, shelters them, cares for them, provides a family and love for them.
And since they love him inconditionally, I´m pretty sure they are his for life.
And they just proved it in this video.
@NN D He´s not the biological father, sure. But to say he doesn´t love them as his childrem is pretty shitty, man.
That's right👍👍
The fact that everyone calls him 'dad' already says a lot.
Respect to everyone.
@Anal Farmer damn another loner who’s trying to dissuade step parents from acting like an actual responsible parent. Just because you lack familial love, doesn’t mean others do. This family is obviously happy and content with their father instead of some man (the biological father) who doesn’t seem to be in the picture. Trying to dissuade others, won’t make you any happier 🤷🏻♀️

This is so heartwarming. I tried to adopt my stepdaughter when she was younger but her 'real' dad would not sign the documents (even though he had absolutely no part in her life, even refusing to pay child support). I raised her since she was two years old. My daughter then surprised me on my birthday six months after after she turned 18. She had legally changed her last name to mine.
If you're separated and not paying support, he should absolutely have no say. He wanted a say but not bad enough to actually support his kids...very telling.
Congrats on not only being a good father, but on being her real father.
That made me cry
@tylerlopes476If you are paying child support and not a threat to the child, demand the court to give visitation. Your wife nor the courts can require child support without visitation.
You do not need an attorney for this, just the courage to stand on your square. I know what I'm talking about.
Also, if you have health insurance for your child, the courts can't require any other support. The judge or attorney won't tell you that support is support because it will affect the demonic extorting system in place.
That’s an awesome story too! Love it. Again; that’s REAL MAN shit. We need more men like you guys. Thank you for doing what you do. Cheers! 💪🏻🙏🏻❤️
you know he's a dad through and through because his immediate reaction is to say "no"

@Ann Vo Betas..who raise other males' childs are betas and get eliminated via natural selection.
@Ann Vo Bullshit...whoever in the history raised another male's child got eliminated via natural selection...and the males who protected their partners and only raised their own offspring, passed on their genes...and we are their descendents. Look into the Lion Pride...Look how the males behave😂 you will get your answer.
'true alphas do this and that blah blah for society'- So that it benefits irresponsible women. I am not a simp. These kinds of manipulation doesn't work on me. I have read the story about 'White feather campaign' women tried the same thing... that's how millions of men died....Nice try though...These kinds of manipulation doesn't work on everyone.
Edit: also if that's what an alpha does(sacrificing for society that doesn't give a fck about us), I am better of not being an alpha.
@Ann Vo All personal attacks! "You are whiny this, you are that"...you can date whomever you want none of my concern....and I said at the end if that's what an alpha is then I am better of not being one. You can have your opinions. But personally I would never be invested in someone else's offspring.. I want to pass on all my earnings and properties to my own genetic offspring.
Also a 'simp' is a guy who sympathizes with womankind. Where do you see me doing that?? In fact I am quite the opposite.
Edit: I am assuming that you are from USA cuz you tried to make me feel that I am missing out on having a great partner like you cuz you would only date an older man...well, the thing is in my country there's prostitution legal...unlike men in USA we don't need to kowtow to women for mating rights. That's why sex is not a big deal here in my country(it's human psychology- something which is available is not a big deal) and someone wouldn't date me, that's also not a big deal. We only stay with women who care for us. If someone wants to go, they are free to go.

My sister is adopted from China and let me correct you: we, the adopting family, are the lucky ones! You, adoptees, are our little miracles, and the love YOU give us is far greater than anything in this world. It is our honor and privilege to have you in our lives.
I wasn't adopted, I was just rised with no one attention, my biggest tragedy is still my cat that lived with me more than 15 years once gone and never comes back. When my dad died it wasn't a problem. But my little smart kind caring girl... I'm still crying.

It's funny and sad how much he tries to hold back his tears 😊. Everybody is allowed to cry and especially if its out of happiness 🙂.
This isn't about "being allowed to cry" it's about men always needed to be strong in the past, if they weren't, it'd be the end of the race for them.
That being, men today still feel the need to hold it all in and be strong.
This causes what you see here.
@@sneebil yea your right but some people react differently alothough here you can see he's holding back years other people let's say some died they may not appear to be greifing but they really are it's not their holding it back like me I'm just like that so is my dad
Its one of the reason men die earlyer than women, cant remember where i read it, but basically we are expected to always be strong and hate cute things and so on, so where women grieve, cry and let their feelings out and get past it, men tend to just bottle it up and push it deep down inside and shit like that builds up with years, so you end up getting stroke, heart conditions, stomac bleeding and yeah alot of shit caused from stress and struggle.
He was trying to upheld article 41 from the bro code, a bro never cry,
Yeah, that's the thing, since we were kids, men were always told to be strong, that men don't cry. I don't know if it's about instinct or a social thing, but it's natural, we don't allow other people to see us cry or in our "weak" or vulnerable spot. And that's really sad tbh.
As a child of divorced parents who never had a father figure in her life, I appreciate these men. Who protect and love their step children. Don’t hurt them or talk them down. Even Oprah, she might spend millions on helping people but if you are still sitting on billions, that doesn't even qualify for lukewam and she has already been spit out.
Anyone teaching the monetary tithing LIE or collecting money for ministering in any way is now in THE GREAT TRIBULATION and they will begin to suffer until they repent or it's too late and they die. It's their choice. All worship groups, bookwriters, and every fake minister KNOWS selling anything using the gospel is against the Bible and evil. Do you really comprehend that they are INTENTIONALLY LYING to people?
Malachi 2 proves Malachi 3:8-12 is prophetic instruction for the thieving church leaders to repent and bring back the money they were never supposed to take and God will end Covid. Every single minister on television has known this since August of 2020 but they LOVE MONEY so much, they INTENTIONALLY CHOSE TO KILL everyone with Covid instead of bringing it back!
WOW! Are you awake yet?
Being awake is a GOOD thing, don't listen to demon hybrids that tell you otherwise.
And the Bible says God prefers for people to be in LGBT relationships in Mathew 19:12 FOR THE SAKE OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. Male or female is determined by gender located in the brain, not sex characteristics. I am Elijah of Malachi 4:5-6 so any discrepancies in the bible are ultimately decided by me.....
Well… the horror stories of step-parenting far outweigh the happy endings.
Gotta be a solid guy to have the kids ask for you to be their dad..hats off to you good sir 👌 ❤
the cruel twist is that he died in 2021
@@DJ-ov2it how?
The fact that they already call him dad is absolutely amazing 🥰🥰
So proud he is. Beautiful family.
For these children to ask him to adopt them as young adults means he is obviously a great dad and a great man. I wish there more stand up men like this guy. You are very lucky to have each other.
But theirs one selfish single mom that breakup her 4 boyfriends. With two kids that wants a stepdad

As a father of a daughter and soon a son too, this hits me right in the feels. The role (and duty) of a father isn’t a birthright, it’s an accomplishment. You’ve got to earn it. This man absolutely earned it.
lol
@@offlineraided Not lol, that's right. 🙂
This hits hard to home. So sweet and special. I have a step daughter and son we had custody of both of them from when she was 5 and I tell you she is so very special to me. We have a very close bond now, she is in her 30’s but I love her as if she was flesh of my flesh and blood of my blood ❤️

Man, what a great gift for this man. My “stepdad” raised me since I was 6 months old and for 99% of my life has been the only dad I’ve known. I will be 32 soon and he’s still my dad. Even though him and my mom divorced. Can’t ever replace the real men who step up to the plate when others step out
That's so sweet. I'm glad you have a dad who loves you! Everyone needs that.
He sounds like a very good man God Bless Him and you 🙏❤
Blood doesn't make a family..... LOVE does..... mad respect...
Thanks you for sharing this part of your life. I raised my daughter as a single father and I'm so happy to see another man step up to raise girls and show them and the world what a real man is - emotional, supportive, nurturing, and a stand-up man. Thanks.
You could tell he is a great dad when all he wants for Father’s Day is a photo of his children ❤️

What a wonderful family - nothing bigger than a man with tears.
I grew up without a father and had no support from him all my life. Some won’t take care of their own.
Then there are people like you. Having a dad at home makes a huge difference for peoples lives. Thank you for being such a great guy.
Can’t stop crying imagine how good this man has been to his kids that they would even set this up heard them all say dad like a thousand times lol clearly the greatest dad and husband god bless this family
I laughed and cry.He is the real FATHER the real man who raised these kids and that's one happy family.
I had a “step dad” that never had the chance to become my legal step dad. I wish he had the chance to become my legal step dad before he was gone forever. This video made me cry, and I haven’t cried in over 3 years. Thank you for the emotional release.
i havent cried for 10 years.
i dont know why.
Sit back and cry, you deserve all good things in your life, wishing you all the best of luck in life.
Not all crying is bad and if you cry about love it is strength not weakness.
As long as you loved your step dad and treated him like a dad he knew !!!
As a father that raised a daughter alone I was crying right along with you.. 🥲
God bless you!!
Nothing more endearing than a man trying to hold back his tears

Are you kidding me! What a beautiful family.
I'm so touched by this story. He raised beautiful children.
I understand perfectly. My Daddy adopted me at age 4. Met my mom when she was 21 as a single parent. I love him so much. Still in my life, I'm 43 now. And still daddy's lil girl.
Kudos to all dad's out there, who say" Bring it on!"

Sorry you never had parents. If someone had adoped you, they would've been blessed.
I’m so sorry you went through that and it must have been very difficult and hopeless at times. I imagine that hurts the soul and your heart. I wish for you one day to find a truly loving woman, be married, and be able to be a father yourself and cherish your kids. Show them all the love you deserved from your biological parents.

So, I'm almost 60 and I don't have children.
I'm an Army veteran and a Civil War reenactor, so the word 'honor' has come up more than once in my life.
And I can't think of a greater honor than what these kids gave to a real stand-up kind of man.
I hope the family is happy, healthy and well, and I hope they're accept a sincere tip of the Stetson from an old cavalry corporal. God bless.
The role of the men is to provide service doesn't mean he need to work daily to get money to buy things to the family but he needed to provide to the family in spirit, there with them to talk, listen and give emotional strength to the family
I know exactly how he felt reading that as my girls did the same thing to me and I’m just here to tell everyone words can’t explain the emotions. Your a lucky man brother cherish it
I don't know why UA-cam recommended me this, but this video made my day. Mad respect and may God bless you all.
First time I really saw my father cry was when my sister asked him to adopt her.
I'm so happy for all of you!
It’s ok to cry. Those tears at that moment are the only way to truly and accurately express what you feel when words can’t.
He doesn’t need paper, you can tell he’s the dad. Stunning family, wish you all the happiness life can bring 🌹🇬🇧
I grew up with a single mother and never once seen my dad in person. It’s heartwarming to know there are man out there that can be a real father. ❤
They're there, but often
a) men weren't raised by strong men so they could be man enough to raise a family (those are the ones abandoning). The world wars, and what came after broke many men and left them emotionally unavailable (or even PTSD), so they couldn't be real father figures to their upbringing.
b) the other ones lost in courts when the mother made use of the unbalanced power-benefit mother's are given in in marriage law (see statistics).
Wife's and Husband's are statistically further split apart than decades ago. Families that actually last longer than a decade are becoming the exception rather than the norm they used to be.
Edit: sad to see this shift in society and I'm sorry for your case (may have been a pain back then), but also proud you made the best of the situation👍
Same except a grew up with her until a was 10 and then got put in care but never met dad or even spoke to him and now it’s too late so a keep getting mad at me mam
That's your mother's fault.
@@Ibrahimovic4life Yep, my uncle was in Veitnam and it wrecked him to the point of not being capable of being a good father. However, my grandfather who was in ww2 was a good dad and great grandfather. He had a hard time with his emotions though. We all need a miracle one way or another I think.

These always make me tear up. You don't choose your biological children or parents and so it is a blessing when everything turns out alright, but willingly choosing a person to be your parent... that must feel very powerful and special for both parties.

The real test be when your 90 in a diaper everyone of them better come running to help me
My biological father passed away when I was 4 years old , but left before I was 5 months old in 1983. Never knew him. My step dad came along the same year he passed... Almost like someone gifted him to my mom and I. He raised me, guided me, loved me as if I were his own blood. Always introduced me as HIS daughter. Sister was born in 1992 but has NEVER treated me any less his daughter than His own flesh and blood. I was fortunate to always know the love of a dad! He walked me down the aisle crying and there wasn't a dry eye in the room (including him still😅) during our father-daughter dance . We've had unbelievably difficult times where there were incidents that lead to him almost dying... but as a whole family we pulled through. Thank you for sharing this with the world! It's so touching and a wonderful reminder to treasure these amazing people who are in our lives! ❤️❤️❤️
