I had looked everywhere online. I concluded for the cost of a decent winch mounting plate. I could buy an entire new bumper with led lights and the winch plate built in. Sold my factory steel bumper to the Jeep salesman I bought my Rubicon 392 from.

@@FischerJeepAdventures quick question....any issues with the JCR mount since you have had it for awhile. I am looking to install it on my Mojave with a Warn 12s. Has it been sturdy enough?
No issues at all, i had to winch myself up a stream bank a few months ago and pulled my son out when he got stuck in some mud and have had zero issues, its worked out really good and retained the factory front end look which i like, if your headed that direction, i would buy it again if i was doing it over.
A little Mallet pressure… 😂

Great video! After watching it several times I have two questions
1) How did you tighten the two lower bumper bolts inside the frame... near the mounting plate?
2) Did you torque or hand-tighten the bolts that attach to the winch from underneath? Two of mine ended up cross-threaded.

Thanks, for question one i had a combination of a long handled fine toothed ratchet that allows little swing to use the ratchet and a universal joint extension. For question 2 I hand threaded the individual bolts into the foot of the winch to avoid cross threading then tightened with a socket and torqued with a torque wrench.

@Larry Left you know i never thought of being able to take the grill off! Well that will make things difficult for sure if it needs to come off

Pablo Escobar, this is my second sb winch and i have had zero issues with either of them, the first one i had for 6 years and sold it with the vehicle still running perfectly, i think today you really cant go wrong with brands as long as you take care of them
